Maya couldn't help but ocassionally open her eyes and glance at Arkady. From what she'd seen, he wasn't glancing at her. She wondered if he was even thinking about her. She wondered if he'd come over and talk to her, or was he having too much fun to even notice her. With that thought, she sighed. Most likely, he'd forgotten about her just that quick. Although listening to her tunes, Maya gazed at him again, hoping that he'd look over at her. If that was to happen, she knew she'd look away, but she'd know that he was indeed thinking of her.

[Delerium]

"Ah, uh, good to know...?" Arkady said, unsure of how to reply. "I mean, if they're a part of you and all... That's just normal, right?"
Didn't stop it from seeming downright wierd though...
Ah well. And Maeve didn't seem overly keen on conversing with him... Bleh. A shame, really. She would probably have some really interesting things to say. Things that might all revolve around his most gruesome and painful death, but he was sure it would be interesting.

With nothing else to really occupy his mind at the moment, Arkady's neck involuntarily turned his head and glanced at Maya -catching her in the act of glancing at him. She looked away immediately, but not fast enough so that they're eyes didn't meet for a moment.
It sent an unusual, but not unpleasant tingle throughout Arkady's body and gave him a sudden burst of courage. He capitalized on it before it fled again.
Standing up, Arkady strode over to the tree Maya was perched in leaned against, glancing up at her. "Hey. What're you listening to?" He spoke louder than normal; just enough so that she could hopefully hear him over her music.

Maya glanced over to Arkady who had been perched against the tree beside her...Wasn't he just over there? Well, Maya wouldn't have noticed if he were kiddnapped by aliens, because she was so quick to look away. She felt her face going red once more...luckily, we're in the shade...Ugh! Maybe he won't notice....
Maya looked up at him, removing the earphones from her ears, shaking her head abit, a smile playing on her features. "Oh, nothing special...Maroon five's latest songe, that is.." ((Lol, that's what is playing on my radio right now!! =p)) She glanced down at her feet, then back up at Arkady. She'd been closer to him before when she touched his hands, but now it was different. "Soo, how's it going? Besides that annoying little fox woman chasing you around.." Maya laughed abit, hoping that he would aw well. Okay, it's only awkward if you make it awkward.

Arkady nodded. "I haven't heard it yet, but I'm sure it's good - not Tool good, but Maroon 5's not a bad band."
Bleh, Arkady hated small talk, but knew it was essential to get over the stupidly childish nervousness he currently felt. "You ever heard anything by Tool? Maynard is my God, heh heh."
Dammit, it hadn't felt awkward in the hall when she'd found his journal, why did it feel awkward now?! He could sense that Maya felt the same, but was doing her best not to show it. This was a good sign, and so, Arkady too did his best not to let it get in the way of their developing friendship.

Roran was asleep in a tree that a gril was leaning on and she was talking to someone else. Deago was amusing himself by making small ice orbs in front of him. Since roran was asleep, Deago was able to use a small amount of rorans power. Deago made the ice start to circle the trees. Suddenly Deago jumped out of the tree and ran up to the girl (Maya). The ice that had been circling the tree dropped and fell ontop of Roran's head. It woke him with a start and he fell out of the tree. Landing face first on the dirt. "Deago, I know you had something to do with this." Roran grumbled.
