Nashino watched as Carmela and Roxana talked amongst eachother. Wow, power sensing.
That was a great power, more than someone would guess. Nashino decided against speaking
on it. They'd already gotten off on a rocky start with eachother, and he didn't feel like
repairing. Plus, he had someone to talk to. He then strode over to Valerie, taking a seat
beside her. "Your sister has some talent there...Wow, that makes me wish I was young again."

[•Mouse•]

VAlerie cast a look over her shoulder to see Monty running laps around the obsticle course. Upon further looking she saw the rodent was happy about it too. She smiled a bit to herself and slowly changed her subject to Roxanna. The little girl was laughing beside the smaller and more odd blonde. Her hair had fallen to it's original state, a long straight blonde color. Carmela was within that twenty feet. She was curious as to what had happened to the powers she had so much fun with.

" Mmm, Indeed she does. It's a handy little gift." Valerie said, eyes turning back to the scene before her. She didn't exactly look at Nashino. IT wasn't because he was hideous or anything like that, but because it was Valerie we're talking about. She was odd in her ways and had an heir of mystery about her. It was who she was, what she did, how she lived and why she did whatever she choose to do.

Nashino eyed the two girls who were playing so happily together. Then, his attention
shifted back to Valerie. She was stunning in looks, but as Nashino had learned before,
looks almost in some cases counted for nothing at all. Maybe, with her, it was different.
But Nashino vowed to himself that he wouldn't try to figure out, or pry into her, and that
if he got to know her, it'd be natural. He didn't want to set himself up again for another failure.
He gazed at her, lost within his thoughts, "I..Bet," he said in a distant tone.

" Bet what?" Valerie asked, trying to keep the conversation from dying with only that being discussed. Her lavender eyes slowly rolled to the side to fall upon his features. She took them in briefly before she felt her powers return. Looking over her shoulder it was seen that Roxanna and Carmela had decided they need more room to build Monty his own city of Monty-Tropolis or something to that effect. She softly laughed before her hair brust into life. It shortened to her chin, and gave itself a nice little crimp effect. " Much better." She stated as a hand touched her hair gingerly. Her dress had returned to it's self before Carmela had come into that twenty foot range.

" So, What're we gonna name the city?"
" I dunno! He's your Chinchilla. You think something up!" Roxanna replied, her voice a bit edgy.
" Well. We'll think of something later! What color you goin' to make it?"
" I'm going to make it out of emeralds!"
" Those are green right?" Asked a confused Carmela.
" Yup! A Deep green!"
" YAY. It'll be like Emerald City in The Wizard of Oz!" Carmela exclaimed, pure excitement filled her voice as she smiled and clapped happily. Roxanna nodded and the two went off on what should go where and all other forms of things concerning the emerald chinchilla city to be built before them.

Nashino shook his head, snapping back to reality. Then, as Valerie's hair shortened,
his eyes narrowed in confusion. Well, more amazed than confused. He chuckled, reaching
out to touch her hair. "Wow, that's some power that you've got there. I know girls
who'd kill to be able to style their hair in split seconds...Take Maya for instance, she could
use an on the go haircut anytime." He laughed as his light-hearted jokes towards his sister who had been
listening to her tunes all the while.

[•Mouse•]

Valerie laughed once more, a soft air little tone as she shook her head. " Its a gift and a curse! Because sometimes I have no idea what to do with it." Sighed Valerie. It didn't phase her much to have him touch her hair. It certainly wasnt' the first time someone had done it. IT wouldn't be the last either, for that Valerie was sure.
((Not much to really say. I HATE IT!))

Nashino continued to study the two girls, not really having too much to say at all. Normally, it wasn't hard for him to keep a conversation going, but now, it was. Well, he didn't know her at all, and nothing at all had happened for him to really strike up a juicy convo. about. "I'm so bored right now...I want to do something outgoing, or something. I need fire, I need to get in trouble...I need to do something that will give me a thrill. Got any ideas?"

[Delerium]

"Will you... stop breathing, or something? Seriously." The voice was one Maya, Carmela and Maeve would recognize.
A moment later, Arkady came out from behind a tall shrub walking swiftly with his broad shoulders hunched in annoyance. The young man was wearing a form-fitting black shirt that read, 'Instant Idiot! Just add beer', a pair of khaki pants and brown leather sandles.
"I'm only gonna say this once more: Leave. Me. Alone."

He was followed by a bizarre girl with long, platinum-blond hair twisted up into a loose braid that reached the small of her back and large, pierced ears remiscent of fox ears. Completing the 'fox look', the girl also had three fiery-coloured tails extending from the base of her spine. She wore a white silk corset embroidered with pink roses and a black denim jacket with short sleeves that only just passed her bosom. Black leather capris adorned her long, slim legs, fastened by a silver chain for a belt. Her footwear was a pair of white string-boots reaching her knee.
She darted forward and wrapped her manicured hands around Arkady's arm. "Oh you know you don't mean that! Ooo I just LOVE a man that plays hard to get! Come on! Just give me ten minutes alone with you and I'll make you a believer!"

Arkady emitted a noise that was half growl and half sigh. "Scarlett, I mean it. I have absolutely no interest in a spoiled, whiney brat like you. Now let go and get lost."
Scarlett huffed and fixed the young man with an exasperated stare. "Such insolence! Who do you think you're speaking to?! You're not GAY are you? Men BEG and CRAWL to be with me!"
Arkady rolled his eyes. "You know what? You can think whatever you want if it'll make you leave me alone!"
"I'll tell the WHOLE school!"
Arkady didn't dignify her with a response and just kept on walking. Seeing Maya and Carmela, his expression brightened considerably and he approached them. In an attempt to ignore Scarlett, he said, "Hey, what's happening?"
"ARKADY BELMONT IS GAY!!!" Scarlett shouted at the top of her lungs. "HE LIKES MEN IN BED!!!"
Arkady just shook his head. Looked like Scarlett wasn't gonna be so easy to shake after all...

" You're a mean person." Scoffed Carmela at the girl. She proceeded to wave at Arkady, a smile on her face. " Hiii! I remember you!" Carmela sounded proud of herself or something as she motioned toward Roxanna who looked up, a bit confused. " This is my friend, Roxanna!" Came the excited introduction as Carmela's small, gloved, hand worked at the space between Monty's ears gingerly. The chinchilla appeared to be in pure bliss as he recieved the loving caress.

" Hey!" Roxanna stated with pure simplicity. She turned and looked at the small emerald city they had created for Monty. It took up the space an average trampoline would. In reality, the city would have been massive. Cerliean eyes looked at the annoying blond behind Arkady. " What's wrong with being gay? Besides, I have trouble imagaining him as gay. Just because he denied you and went against you doesn't mean he's gay. You're clearly not his type." Muttered the girl in purely serious tones.

" No, Sorry. I guess you could do a number of things really." Came her reply to Nashino. She smiled softly and was about to talk some more when she stopped at the entrance of Arkady and Scarlett. Valerie had looked upon Scarlett in complete laughter, not uttering or allowing a single sound to escape her. Someone is full of herself.[/i] Valerie's mind swirled with thoughts like that, as she looked away and smiled a welcome to Arkady. She had to admitt, he was very attractive and his features caught her eye. But, being Valerie she didn't look long as she sneezed softly.

" Bless you, Val." Carmela called, confusing the eldist of the three forementioned girls. " Roxanna told me you're name!"

" Yup! I did. I did!" Came the excited add-on from Roxanna. Valerie nodded, letting a soft 'Oh' escape her lips before turning to let her eyes venture around the courtyard. Maeve had looked up at the formiliar sound of Arkady. She made no noise, simple shrugged and rolled her eyes at the annoying girl who seemd to fallow him likea bad habbit.

Maya, even though her tunes were going through her head, she couldn't help but notice the odd girl, and the handsome guy she was hugged up on. From what his journal had said, his name was Arkady. Maya removed the headphones from her ears, setting the ipod down beside her legs, which had been folded to the side. Maya could feel her cheeks burning with redness as she remembered what had happened in the hallway. But who was this girl following behind him? he was clearly annoyed. Maya listened to the "conversation" the two were having. Well, it was forced forced upon Arkady, which soon, he began to ignore and not respond.

Maya smiled softly as Arkady approached. "Hey...Arkady?" Then, she listened to the false acussations that the peevish little girl shouted. "Who's that," Maya pointed to the girl, "She's rather annoying." Maya said, not caring for what the girl might have thought. Maya gazed at Arkady, taking in his gorgeous features. In a way, she was indeed happy that she had found his journal.

[Delerium]

Scarlett couldn't BELIEVE this! These peasants should've been flocking to her side in support! What was WITH them?! But noooo! They've all taken Arkady's side in her plight.
The kitsune's face turned pink with indignation and disbelief flooded her expression. With the fur on her tails puffed out and her ears standing straight up, Scarlett huffed a loud "Well, I never...!" before storming out of the courtyard. Americans were such uncultured, prehistoric wretches! Arkady had been the only one to show a hint of decency and yet he dared to turn her affections down. Her! Well, she would tactically retreat for now and come up with another plan of attack; he'd come around, they always did. Well, as long as he TRULY wasn't actually gay... Scarlett hoped not. What's wrong with being gay? one of the peasant girl's had insinuated. It made Scarlett want to puke; what WASN'T wrong with being gay?! My GOD!

Watching Scarlett stomp off, Arkady sighed with relief and let the tension out of his shoulders, straightening up. "Thanks everyone. I don't know what the hell her problem is... Yes, she is quite annoying, isn't she?"
He recognized Carmela, Maeve and Maya -with whom he felt heat rise into his face upon sighting- but there were others about that he definitely didn't know. Oh! And Monty of course. The little fella tempted Arkady to get a chinchilla himself; they were awfully cute. Smiling politely to Maya, Arkady knelt beside Carmela and added his caresses. "Hello Roxanna, sorry you had to witness that... thing on my arm. The name's Arkady." He turned his attention back to the chinchilla. "Hey Monty. How you doing today?"
He was keenly aware of Maya's gaze on him and squirmed uncomfortably, passing it off as shifting his weight around on his knees to get comfortable. What had she really thought of his journal? Of him? Had she told anyone? Well, there was one way to lay his fears to rest... Subtly, anyway.
However, he suddenly had a rare streak of cowardice and opted to continue petting Monty. Arkady never usually balked if something was bothering him, outspoken tactless youth that he is, but matters of the heart... were something he avoided like a dirty syringe. Arkady could face down vampires, run into burning buildings and endure excruciating physical pain without a second thought, but his feelings? Yeah, no thanks. Emotions were something he'd rather not have to deal with.

Monty seemed almost overjoyed at the attention he was recieving. It was like heaven on earth for the little creature as Arkady continued to pet him with a bit of support from Carmela. " We're both fine, Arkady!" Came Carmela's generally happy reply. She stuck her tongue out in the rudest manor as Scarlett stormed off. The girl was a simply stuck on herself, which seemed to annoy the little girl.

" That's alright. At least she's gone now. What a rude little bi-"
" R.A! Language!" Warned Valerie, turning a sharp eye on her sister. Roxanna went pink in the face and nodded slowly, acknowledging where she had gone wrong. " Thank you." Came the soft reply to the nod as Val once more looked Arkady over. How was it she had run into two good-looking young men in the past few minutes? Was it luck, most likely not. Most generally though of Valerie as far to motherly, which was fine by her.

" Oh! Arkady, the lady in the dress on the bench is my sister. Her name's Valerie!" Roxanna said, standing and brushing grass from her legs and butt. She strolled over to Valerie and pointed to her. " She's older by 2 years or something like that." Valerie looked a bit uneasy about her sister spouting off random information.

" R.A, You should let Val speak for herself." Carmela said in a very sarcastic tone which was supposed to be scolding.
" But I like introducing people, too!" Roxanna stated, shrugging her shoulders before she returned to sitting by Carmela and Arkady. " Are we done with the City?" Came a question from nowhere.
" Uhm..." Carmela's voice faded for a second as she entereda deep state of thinking. She nodded her head and watched in awe as emerald building after emerald building sunk into Roxanna's torso. The girl looked a bit pained as each crystal entered but smiled weakly and gave a firm nod of her head.

Maya continued to focus on Arkady as he talked with the other two. After a little, she relaxed once more, sticking the ear pieces back in her ear, turning up the volume to the ipod. Her eyes closed once more, images of Arkady playing on the back of her eyelids. A slight smile played on her features. Nashino Looked over to the the newly arrived guest, having not paid him much attention before. He seemed popular with the people. He found himself chuckling abit as the innocent Carmela scolded Roxanna.

[Delerium]

Ah, hmm, well. It looked like his opportunity had passed; Arkady watched out of the corner of his eye as Maya replaced the earphones to her iPod. She looked... decidedly happy about something. What could it be?
Well, he knew what he was happy about; hopefully he could get through the rest of the day without seeing Scarlett. Slim chance, but a guy could always hope.

"Oh! Arkady, the lady in the dress on the bench is my sister. Her name's Valerie!" the girl named Roxanna suddenly blurted out.
Supressing a grin, Arkady replied, "Ah, alright then. Hey Valerie."
An expression of concern held his features as Roxanna suddenly sucked up the emerald diorama -that's what it had been, right?- into her stomach, and looked quite pained to do so.
"Uh, are you ok? That... didn't look too good."
Idiot! It was none of his business! But, try as he might, Arkady just couldn't quite get used to all the different abilities the kids had at this school. And he had always thought he was wierd.
He cast a quick glance at Maya, but quickly turned away again, deciding he didn't want to catch her attention after all. Ah well, her eyes were closed anyway. Phew!

Trying to take his mind off her, Arkady cast a wry smile in Maeve's direction and said, "Sooo, disembowel any unfortunate individuals recently?"

" Sadly, no." Maeve stated. Her voice seemd distant as the girls green eyes rolled to the side and fell on the boy. He was the one who had, somewhat, flashed his abs at her at the mall. Looks like him. What was his name?[/i] Maeve's mind wandered about the subject of what the boy's name had been and if she knew it or not. While she did that she would grumble something under her breathe as if trying to silently guess the name. " What the hell was it?" She finally grumbled while giving up a bit. She'd try to remember, sooner or later.

" Eh? I'm okay. They were part of me anyway." Roxanna heaved a shrug of her shoulders as once more she looked toward Maeve. What a wierd one, that Maeve. But her mind ventured to the subject of the girl engulfed in music. Well, there was nothing all that wrong with that and so Roxanna looked to Arkady, Carmela and then Nashino who was sitting with Val still. So many people in one day. Sighed the girls mentality.

" Hi." Val replied to the man who seemed more fixated on other things. However, before she even replied she had laughed softly at Carmela and Roxanna's scolding episode. That shifted to concern as Roxanna explained to Arkardy that the crystal's were part of her. " When did it start hurting? It wasn't like that before?" Came the concern of an elder sister. Val stood, stepping around the bench and kneeled before her sister.
