A young girl sits int the grass, sun light warm and crisp as it sets high in the sky. Her blonde hair catches the light, making it more of a white color than blonde. Cereliean eyes watch as a crystal shaped Heart, crimson in color, rises from her hand. It hovers, just above it and reflects wonderful flecks of crimson light everywhere. It was Roxanna, sitting in a pair of jean shorts to here knees, black flip-flops and a bright teal shirt with white abstract designs across the front. Her hair had been pulled up into a high sitting ponytail, curtesy her sister. Where'd Val Go?[/i] Her mind questioned as she looked up and around the pleasent scenery. Instead of finding her sister, Roxanna found a dark-haired girl beside another blonde. The two seemed to not like each other much as the dark-haired one continually pointed in a different direction as if telling the small more energetic one to go away.[/color]

" Go Away, Please!" Groaned, Maeve. Carmela had been fallowing her everywhere for the whole morning. Here it was noon and she just couldn't get the girl to leave her be. Maeve was in her normal attire, not being describe for the fact you should all know it. Dark eyes watched the ever annoying Carmela as she refused to leave, once more. The was a growl in her throat which sent Carmela a threat. " At least go play. You always whine about going and playing somewhere. Just, Play!" Argued Maeve with the silent 14-year old before her. It was almost useless it seemed until that statement came out.

" Okay!" Chirped little Carmela and she skipped over to a tree and set the carrier she had been holding down on the grass. Pulling a small fluffy, black, chinchilla out she smiled to Monty setting him on the grass. It was a cat or something for she rolled a small bell around and the chinchilla seemingly pushed it back at her. Carmela laughed with delight as Monty continually returned the ball by pressure from the tip of his nose. " Monty, You're a good sport!" Carmela stated, her smile unfaultering. Bright red eyes fallowed a girl who had just walked by in a knee length, white halter dress. Carmela smiled up at herand watched as the girl returned it. The young woman continued on her path out of Carmela's view. " She was pretty. Don't cha' think, Monty?" Came the innocent question for the chinchilla to answer.

Valerie had gone to retrieve a book to read from the library. And, with great care, walked around the small girl with the chinchilla. Lavernder eyes met with Maeve's dark green ones and it seemed to two didn't really like one another at first glance. But, no words passed between them as Val drew nearer the bench her sister was playing beside. Today her hair had piled itself ontop of her head in a very elegant and mysterious manor with thick waves. It looked nice with the white dress she wore, the typical attire. However, today the dress faded to a lavender color near the bottom and she had fitted her feet with a matching set of flip-flops, a pale purple color. "I'm back, Roxana."

" Oh, There you are Val!" Came the reply.[/size]

Nashino stood upright, upper body leaning against the tree, foot flat against the trunk of the tree. His arms were crossed loosley across her chest. YHis cranium was tilted forward slightly, silver-white tresses falling forward, his crystaline optics forward on the Maeve. He listened to the threatening tones she shot at the girl who seemed younger than the other. His brows were furrowed as he chewed on a toothpick. His clothing was as usual, loose. Seeing as he wore his black basketball shorts, and a simple plan white T.

His sister, Maya was beside him, instead of standing, she had been sitting cross-legged on the lush grass. Her cinnamon brown locks swayed in the gentle breeze. She payed no attention to anyone around her, for she was too busy beep-boppin' to the tunes spitting from the headphones of her i-pod. Then, Nashino, still eyeing Maeve, opened his mouth to speak.

They weren't too far away from Maeve and Carmela at all. "Wow, the world is a happy place isn't it?" he asked sarcasticly. Nashino's rich voice traveled to the ear canals of Maeve. He continued to stare at her, awaiting an answer.

Maeve shot the boy a dirty look before seating herself and blocking him off completely. She didn't really care what he though, Maeve felt Carmela was annoying. That was for her to decide and not for him to judge her on. Finally away from that brat.[/i] Her mind was filled with glee with this thought as she closed her eyes, folded her arms over her chest and leaned back a bit. As the sun kissed her skin she felt a bit more relaxed and gave a sigh of releif.

" The world is a happy place!" Interjected Carmela who looked up at Nashino and Maya. Her smile was unfaultering, even after the rude and snarky comments from Maeve. The 14-year old knew she bothered Maeve, and that was her goal. Previous relations between the two were far mor hostile, this was an improvement. However, Carmela felt that Nashino and his sister didn't need to hear about that. Turning away, her bright eyes fell on Monty who was once more, returning the ball to her hand.

A few feet away, Roxanna was messing around with the same heart-shaped ruby. By now it had gone from the size of a small plate to the size of a mini-trampolene. Of course, Taking this as a sign, Roxanna had pulled herself onto the flat surface of the ruby and was now hovering above the ground. " Hey, this is pretty neat!" Stated the girl struggling to stand herself up straight. Wobbling with uneasy legs she stood triumphant. " Oh yeaaah!" Came her victory call.

" Roxanna, You're going to fall." The blond hair of Valerie shot out into a long arm like whip and picked up the young of the Faust sisters, gingerly placing her on the ground. The whole while, Val seemed to be intranced by the book she held in her hands. Lavender eyes never left the pages as she read on.

" Aw, Val, you ruin all my fun."
" Only because a lot of your fun is dangerous to your health."
" I don't care. I was having fun!" Grumbled Roxanna, turning the small heart-shaped gem into the size of a quarter.

As the girl shot Nashino a nasty glare, he felt his eyelids narrow. Out of all things, she had to send him a threatening, and evil glare. Wrong choice. Nashino could not at all tolerate dirty looks from anyone. His facial expression was now stern as he continued chewing on the toothpick. "Little girl, I'd think twice before shooting Nashino a glare like that." He ignored the comment that the happy-go-lucky girl had made.

His glare turned into a softer gaze as his crystaline eyes shot forward, just a little pass the two who were infront of him and Maya. Wow, something he'd never seen before...Hair plucking a person off of an oversized charm of a necklace. What the hell? Although Nashino was questioning this, his face hadn't shown it. He then continued to glare at the girl who had said it all with her glare, awaiting a reply.

Maya just sat there, for she hadn't heard anthing that was said, for she was too into her music.
She rested her head against the base of the tree, closing her eyes sofly, the tunes running through her mind, entertaining her ears.

" Sweety, I don't think I could care any less about who you are. Should I be scared? " Came Maeve's remark, She stood, hands folded across her chest and a wicked, tempting smirk on her face. She looked him over and chuckled lightly before she cleared her throat, raising her brow a bit. " Because, I don't see what's so scary." She added, her lips pulling into a violent snear.

" Mae-Vae, Don't! No trouble today!" Barked Carmela, scurring to her feet. She lifted the small Chinchilla into her hands before comming within that two foot range, negating all powers around her. Carmela's red, youthful eyes looked pleadingly up at Maeve, but there was demand in her voice and a weapon that only Carmela could have. IF Nashino and Maeve wanted a fight, Carmela would keep it to a powerless one by sticking close by.

" Great, we come for peace and relaxation, Roxanna and we get a fight almost instantly upon my return." Scoffed, Val. Her book was snapped shut as she stood and brushed her dress off. Roxanna's wings fluttered and resettled against her back and the girl looked up to the two arguing. " Must we always resort to violence, Children. " The final word rang out clear for the fueding two to hear. The final one emphasized it seemed almost angery. But Valerie kept a soft appearence, her pale eyes calm and focused on the girl and then to the boy she was talking to and even to the smaller of the three.

" Val, Can't we just stay out of it?" Questioned the younger Faust sister. Her voice seemed sincere but fell on deaf ears. It was obvious that Valerie wanted nothing more than peace. And the fact a younger kid was standing in the way seemed to through the older, more severe and tender of the Fausts into a bit of an angery state of mind.

Maya opened her eyes, and began gazing around at everyone. Two, including Nashino, her older brother, were apparently flustered by eachother. Then, another two looked worried, and pleading. And then, one, which was hers was curious, while the other was soft and innocent. She quickly removed her headphones, only to hear one girl's smart retort. Oh shitoki mushrooms... Maya grasped Nashino's ankle. "Nash! Stop, think, and breath. Control your anger, and tunnel it to...Well, somewhere else!"

Nashino stood there, his facial expression becoming soft, as he quite frankly ignored Maya. He leaned back against the tree, his foot dropping to the ground. A slight smile played upon his accurate features.
"Ha, and to think I was going to show this little girl up? She's not worth my time. Plus, she'll probably break under my vicious glare. I'm done, this little fly isn't worth me smashing" The smile faded as he spoke the last sentence of his speech. He then turned to the girl who had stated that he was a child. "Awh, rather be a child then a pretend adult who hasn't got any action in two years now, no?"

At his smart retort toward Valerie a red crystal shard shot into the tree near his head and Roxanna stood before her sister, anger flashing in her cerulean eyes. The small girl stood rather protectively before Valerie, who seemed so calm and unaffected by his ridiculous comments. " Watch how you talk to my sister, prick!" Snarled Roxanna, crystals formed around her in mass numbers, razor sharp and ready to enter his body if need be.

" Roxana, forget Mr. Angry-Against-The-World. Clearly, I'm unaffected by his pathetic attempt at angering me." Valerie spoke as if she didn't even hear his remark and placed a calming hand on her sister's shoulder. The younger of the two's eyes rolled to the side to look at her sisters placid and calm face. " Well?" Came the patient question.

Roxanna stood straight, her eyes returning to normal. The crystals drew nearer her body and sunk deep into her skin, disappearing. " Fine." Muttered the girl. The one by Nashino pulled itself free and shot back into Roxanna's chest where it slowly melted through the clothes and into her body once more. She was pushed back a bit by the force of the crystal hitting her. However, it didn't seem to bother the girl at all.

" Why is it everyone is so mad..." Wondered Carmela out loud. She looked down at Monty to receive a bewildered look and so shrugged her shoulders. " We're the only ones having fun." Stated the child, sitting on the ground before the bench Maeve had commandeered again. The dark-haired sadistic girl had that same wicked smile on her face as she had watched Nashino turn on the mature girl with the Blond hair and white-purple dress. This was interesting. Watching as the girl calmly walked back to her bench and book, Maeve rolled her eyes and went back to looking at the sky.

" Seriously, Monty. What a weird group of people we're with. There's that girl with crystal powers and wings, the girl who is able to animate her hair and personal belongings. Then the two in the tree. The girl with her dark magics and the guy taunting just about everyone with his water and ice related powers. Sheesh." Carmela began her long-winded list of the people and their powers, reading them as she could. The chinchilla in her lap seemed to know what she was saying and curled in a ball happily accepting the gentle caress the girl was giving him.

Nashino simply watched the little girl as she stood to "protect" her sister, who acted although she didn't hear him. It was funny to him how everyone acted these days. Everyone seemed to be an actor or actress. Seemed as though the industry would get full. Then, as a shard appeared within inches beside his head, his eyes shifted slowly to it. He lifted his finger, poking it. "Niiiice" nashino said, his finger dropping. He hadn't been phased by the girl who tried her best to frighten him.

Nashino smiled as the girl who's last remark was made to. He watched as she stood up, "Actually, the name's Nashino," he added in a matter-of-factly tone. He then glanced at the girl by the name of Roxana, his eyes rolling about, his best attempt at beeing dram queenish. "Oh my gah Roxana! Those shards are so not the drama! I hope you don't break a nail trying to help her! Eh ma gah! That'd be totally terrible!" Maya glared at the Roxana girl, "What would be the drama is if one of those little shards touch my brother." She stood up beside Nashino. "Watch yourself." Then, sghe couldn't help but laugh inside, for Nashino's girlie attempt came out to sound a little drag queenish.

" Will you all just knock it off!!? FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" Screamed Carmela, fed up with people mocking one another, attacking each other and whatever else they seemed to be doing. She stood, handing Monty to a rather well behaved and slightly shocked Maeve. Carmela turned ruby eyes to Valerie and Roxana. " You two, Stop acting as if your all high and mighty. I understand your wanting to portect your sister but chill!" Growled Carmela. Roxanna turned, angered but relized one thing, the Faust's were acting a bit above the others and she had somewhat ove reacted.

" And you two, what the is wrong with you? The younger one was trying to protect her older sister fro msnid remarks. Get over it. Secondly, What do you have against the world? Sheesh! You both need to calm down and stop acting like your 4!! I'm 14 and I'm acting far more mature than either of you, there's something wrong with that pictrure. Don't you think!?" Carmela had rounded on Maya and Nashino now. She looked at them questioningly, her words straight and to the point. Once she had finished her rattling on with them she turned to Maeve who seemd to be looking at Monty in confusion.

"And you!" Carmela stopped, having taken note that Maeve had left Nashino alone and behaved herself. " Will you make up your mind on whether you're going to turn someone into dust or just sit and watch. And are you even the same Maeve!?" The girl growled in severe confusion now. Maeve looked at her with a smirk, happy to have thrown the smallest girl in the group off in some way.

" Yes, I'm the same Maeve." Chuckled the dark-haired girl holding Monty out so Carmela could take the rodent from her posession. Carmela gracefully took hold of Monty and looked at the humble chinchilla and smiled, and at first glance it appeared she was once more back to her regular happy self. However, the ruby eyes shot up again and looked around the group of people she had just scolded.

Nashino couldn't help but laugh after the girl went off. She was so tiny, and just a second ago had been siting there messing with a ball of fluff. Wow, can you say alter-egos. He began to laugh uncontrollably, before allowing it to seize. He sighed, catching his breath. "Okay. First off, how cute was that?!? But anyways, I find it funny how you all seem to mistake a little sarcasm as being "mad at the world"

"And last I checked, you were talking to a ball of fluff, how mature..." Nashino had a slight smirk on his face, but yet, his expressions were still a little stern. Maya restd her head against the tree. "And uh, you need to make up your mind. Is it okay for the younger sib to protect the older one or not? Hello, I was doing exactly what she was. Oh, but wait, I didn't NEARLY PIERCE HER HEAD WITH SHARDS NOW DID I?" Maya folded her arms across her chest, not wanting to hear a reply from a litle girl who apparently thought a chinchilla as her best friend. "No, don't answer that question, I don't want to listen to you, and I'm through with this immature crap." She put her headpons in her ear, and turned on her ipod, sliding down the trunk of the tree, sitting cross-legged once more.

Valerie laughed harder than Nashino had, before coughing and clearing her throat. Shaking her head she waved away the small girls outburst before returning to her book. This was getting ridiculous. Roxanna didn't exactly see what was funny, people can snap and loose control of themselves. Infact she was almost certain that everyone did at one point in time. But the fact they were no making fun of someone probably 2-3 years younger than them was a bit sadder than anything that had happened that day. And when she chuckled it was at them, but no one could tell for it was a brief and little one. She then returned to creating crystals and juggling about with out touching them.

" Excuse me, I hate to sound defensive of such an annoying girl, but that Chinchilla has been with her since she was about 12. Well not full hers but still. How is it odd for someone fourteen to talk to a pet she cherishs. And besides, If you watch carefully it understands her." Maeve stated in a half-interested voice. However she found it a bit hypocritcal how Maya was saying everything was immature when she too was acting just as bad. But, Maeve brushed that aside and went back to watching the clouds.

" You know something, this is why people tend to keep to themselves. Because there are seriously annoying people in this world. Where's Ven, Maeve!? He's nice." Carmela had turned away from Nashino and Maya and looked demandingly at Meave. Monty had been placed on his shoulder where the small chinchilla looked about curiously, a ball of fluff as he maybe it appeared the creature was a bit upset at Nashino bad mouthing his owner. But, he knew he was only a small pet and couldn't do a thing about it so he let things be.

" I don't know. Off somewhere watching people." Maeve suggested silently.

Maya hadn't heard anything that the little girl had said, but thought that she should not have said anything at al, and should have the people go on about their bussiness, and tended to her little chinchilla. Nashino sighed as the girl had to intervene. He wished that she would just shutup. He didn't need her little life story of how the chinchilla and girl met. "Uhm sorry, but I didn't and still don't care enough to look and observe a chinchilla and a girl sharing mutual feelings."

If Nashino were to talk to anyone right now, it would have been Valerie. She actually laughed with him..At her...Seemed as though she had some understanding of something. It seemed that she had some sort of sense of humor. "And I don't need you being all nice and stuff, like she said, make up your mind." He couldn't resist glancing at Valerie. He caught what Carmela had stated, "Hmm, that's funny, because according to her, she seems to think you're the most annoying thing in the world."

He was tired of this, some girl preaching about people and their annoyingness. Well, he wasn't getting snippy out of fun, he was getting serious. These two people were starting to get under his skin. He glaced back at Valerie, she was actually pretty gorgeous. Nashino could actually see that now that she wasn't making some high and mighty comment toward him. "And you.." he started at Valerie, "I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with a since of humor." He didn't expect a remark back, if anything, a look as to say 'why the hello kitty are you talking to me?'.

Valerie allowed her eyes to wander to the boy who had been speaking to her about having a sense of humor. Roxanna seemd to be engulfed in attempting to build a small footbridge of multi-colored crystals and gems. Valerie placed the book, pages open to what she was on, atop one knee and casually smiled. " Were you expecting me to be serious all the time? I may be motherly toward my sister, but I do know how to have fun." Her answer was not snid at all. To be quite frank it was a pleasent add on to the conversation he seemed to be starting.

Nashino smiled abit. Well, he didn't give her more credit than she'd deserved. But now he did.
Like they thought they did about him, he thought he had her all figured out.
Nashino knew that you should enver judge a book by it's cover, but when in an argument, you
needed something to go by. Hew was indeed shocked that she had spoken to him in such kind tones.
"Well, that makes sense. I may be an ass sometimes, but I'm not angry at the world...All of the time"
He smirked.

Valerie chuckled softly, shaking her head gently. But she looked at him in all honesty and shrugged. " We all have our moments when we hate the world. I even do." The girl stated, once mroe her voice calm and welcoming, encouraging the conversation to continue. As a side note, Carmela had drifted away from Maeve who was half-asleep in comfort and watched Roxanna make crystal bridges, miniture citys and everything else.

" Wow, I like crystal manipulationg. That's cool!" Carmela stated, shocking Roxanna.
" How'd you-"
" Power sensing."
"Ooooh! Cool!"
" Can you make Monty a obsticle course!?"
" YEAH!" And the two set out on building Monty a little crystal obsticle course which had engulfed their tiny attention spans. Both had their eyes glued to the forming hurtles, ramps, see-saws and stair cases.
