Michella came upon the maze with utter amazment. She always used to love reading books that had mazes in them, or her favorite movie called, 'The labyrinth'. She smiled for a second before making her move into the maze and she took the first turn on the right. She let her fingers grasp the leaves of the tight hedges as she followed it to the end. She took an imediate left and ended up in a dead end. "OKay, Well... This isn't always like my books. I hate being lost." She proceeded through the next opening and found herself at another dead end. "That's it, I'm cheating." She shrunk herself and teleported up to the top of the hedge, just enough to see that the fountain was in the totally opposite direction. "I knew it." SHe said aloud and teleported her way to the fountain. She gawped in a mazment the size of it momentarily before realizing that she was in her five inch form. She laughed and returned to height and walked over to the fountain, letting her fingers run in the freezing cold water.
"Awsome... I found it." She said and looked at the top of the fountain and smiled. "It's so beautiful. If it wasn't so cold, I'd go swimming in it."

Vexx purred softly as he navigated through the maze. He found himself at a dead end hust once before deciding to use his feline-esque senses. Soon enough, he arrived at the marvelous fountain. To his surprise, there was already someone there. His tail twitched in anticipation as he watched the girl intently. He intended to keep his presence unknown, but forgot just one thing--purring aloud is very noticeable.

Michella let her fingers stroke the waters surface as it swirled around her finger tips. She smiled seeing the crystal clear water and the three layers of it constantly ran. She sighed softly as she looked to the sky.
It's so lonely here with Terren and Nora. Noone to talk to. I wish they never left Cassis. She let her thoughts rule her emotions until she heard something in the distance. SHe dared not to turn incase of something that was after her, but she forced herself to look. purring? What purrs? She asked herself as she turned then seeing another student, she let her heart jump into her throat and she placed her hand to her chest. "You scared me..." She told him and smiled as she rose from the fountain, making sure that the fountain didn't get her we with the dropletts that splashed around. "Come to see the fountain? IT's nice isn't it? The names Michella." SHe hesitated and raised an eyebrow.

Vexx tentatively approached the fountain. "Yeah, I suppose..." He mused, looking into the water. He quickly pulled away from it with a quiet shudder. "My name is Vexx." He pursed his lips. His ears twitched. "It's nice to meet you." He purred with a smile, focusing his gaze on Michella. He couldn't help but feel curious about the fountain, but sadly, he couldn't do any experimenting on it. It contained water. A lot of water.

Laodice got agrivated with walking through the maze. "What, is this thing five feet long?" he said to himself, "and I still can't get through it." He thought for a moment. He looked around, making sure there was no one around. Just in case, he stepped into the fourth dimension. He didn't want to look like a fool walking around this maze like a lost child. He had learned to navigate such places in the dark and calm better anyway. He put a hand on the wall and started to walk. As long as you follow the edges, he thought to himself, You will eventually find an exit. He just hoped the exit wasn't the one leading back to the courtyard. He walked along, for a few minutes, finally emerging. He could tell he was out because the walls now formed a large square rather than the tight passages of the maze. He emerged from the darkness, noticing two other people. "Oh," he said, "Hello. I'm Laodice." He looked over at Michella. She was a pretty girl... He looked over at Vexx. An odd creature. Human?

Tiffany wandered around aimlessly. She hummed as she walked, not really worried about the fact that she was hopelessly lost in a maze. She always seemed to have a good sense of direction, so she knew she would figure it out eventually. She sang silently, not sure if she was alone. She heard people talking and was silent immediately. She glanced over the corner of the hedge to see three people. One had appeared out of thin air to her amazement. Although they were an interesting group of people, Tiffany was more curious about the fountain that they were sitting at. She watched the water droplets sparkle in the light like diamonds. "Ohh.." She said before she realized that she had spoken out loud. She clasped a hand to her mouth and ducked behind the hedge hoping she had gone unoticed.

Laodice looked over at the entrance to the fountain area. He thought he had heard something, but he wasn't sure. The other two seemed to be talking amongst themselves, so he walked over to the entrance. He wondered for a moment why they would hide such a nice fountain at the end of a maze. He disappeared and walked around, feeling for objects besides the maze walls. After just going around the first hedge, he could feel Tiffany's face. He drew back quickly, very glad that people could not feel his touch from this dimension. He walked behind her and reappeared. "Hello," he said.

Tiffany backed up quickly. "Umm.." She started when she realized that he was standing behind her. "Hello..." Tiffany put a hand to her hair, then frowned slightly and jerked her hand back down to her side. "Can I help you? " She asked as she leaned forward and looked closely at the guy that was now in front of her. "Hey!" She looked back around to the center of the maze and only saw two people. "You were just over there! How did you do that?" She tore her gaze from the fountain once more and turned to him. "Who are you?" She linked her hands behind her back and began to ring them nervously. She rocked back on her heels as she waited for him to answer her.

Laodice looked into her blue eyes. There's nothing prettier than prefect blue eyes, he thought. He smiled at her comment. "Well," he said, "I can do this..." He put one hand in the air and created a small portal to the fourth dimension. It slowly moved its way up his hand and arm in a way that made his body appear to be disintegrating. He smiled again. "Not to worry," he said as the portal began to get close to his head, "I'm fine." The portal sundenly grew large, engulfing his whole body. It closed quickly. Laodice stood in the fourth dimension darkness. Walking around Tiffany, he emerged. "Hello again," he said, holding his hands behind his back, smiling. He looked deeply into her eyes. "And you are?" he asked.

Tiffany gasped as he seemed to disintegrate. He disappeared completely. She looked around feeling like he was still there but not seeing him. She crossed her arms in frustration when he reappeared behind her again. She squealed not expecting it. She whirled around to face him, "Stop doing that!" She said as she realized he was smiling. "Its not funny..I am Tiffany. I can do this." She said that as she lifted up a hand. Beads of water that had been vapor began to form and hover above her hand. They fell and splashed in her hand, yet stayed in her palm instead of splashing out. They formed a small puddle. She covered her hand with her other hand and her eyes flashed an ice-blue. She moved her hand and smiled at her creation. She handed it to him, "Here..I have no use for it.." She said blushing slightly. She stretched her hand out to him to reveal a rose of ice about two inches in length but in the exact form of a small rose, with every detail perfect. It was something she did a lot for she was a great fan of roses, and had perfected making little sculptures of them. She could make them life size and extremely life-like if she wanted, but the small one was pretty. "I dont think you told me your name."

Michella moved up from the fountain and stretched slightly, letting her hair go to her back. SHe turned around and flicked off a few single drops of water left on her hands and put her hands on her hips. "So... VExx huh? Interesting name! Very interesting." She stopped momentarily to get a glimpes of this boy. He seemed cute in his own little way, but kept herself from showing an sign of interest. "Very nice to meet you as well. You just get here?" She asked in complete curiosity. She took a few steps around the fountain taking observace of the layers of water. She could tell that there was a place for colored lights to appear, but only at night? That ruined the whole fun of a colorful fountain. "This fountain apparently changes color at night. You know? I think I'd like to stay until it does. I've never had the chance to see a sight like this. Very smart of them to hide this fountain in the middle of the maze. It's kinda like the prize in the cereal box. You gotta work for it!" She said and then noticed that they weren't alone. She flashed a grin to Loadice and quickly turned her head back to Vexx, before putting her gaze once again on someone else who just entered. WAs this place popular or what?
She bit her bottom lip as she waved over to the two to let them know that she saw them, not wanting to be rude. How interesting. I wonder if they had as much trouble as I did entering the maze. OF course, I did cheat. I can't help it though. My powers work hand in hand!

Laodice smiled at Tiffany's ice rose. "That's very nice," he said, taking it gently by its stem. The cool water started to run down, the rose slowly disappearing in the afternoon sun. "I'm Laodice Kane," he said, "but most people call me Phantom." He looked again at the rose. "It's a shame," he said, "such a nice piece." He smiled at Tiffany. He thought for a moment about the next thing to say. Before he could think of something, he noticed Michella motioning to them. "Shall we enter? I believe the fountain is what you were seeking anyway," he said to Tiffany. He suddenly disappeared again. In the darkness, Laodice felt the ice rose, which had stopped melting now. Neither heat nor cold existed in that dimension. Laodice thought about it for a moment. Such a safe place, yet not a place at all. He shook his head, though no one would know it. He reemerged next to Michella. "It's a lovely fountain, is it not? A colorful work of art in a world of grey." The rose started to melt in his hand again. A shame... he thought.

Tiffany saw the disappointment on Phantoms face when the ice rose began to melt. "Dont worry..I'll make you another one.." She whispered. She eyed the fountain longingly. She wanted to go over there but there were people. She much prefered to stay alone. She glanced up at Phantom. Or with certain people.. She turned her head quickly. Well, maybe if I go over there I wont make a fool of myself here.. She stiffened her spine. "Yes..lets go over there.." She said as she made her way around the hedge. She quickly sat at the edge of the fountain, and ran her hands through the water. She felt the urge to put her head under the fall of the water, but restrained. She smiled slightly as she made the water swirl and dance.

Vexx nodded briefly, "Michella is a pretty name," he said sheepishly, as he looked over the girl. His timid natured grin disappeared instantly when Laodice appeared seemingly out of nowhere again. Vexx stumbled back a pace or two, the fur on his tail bristling. Despite having the senses of a feline, he had always been easily startled. His tail swayed from side to side, "Hey, you..." He said, looking directly at Laodice, "Can you quit that? Please?" He asked.

"Quit?" Laodice said, "But that's what I do. That's like asking you to stop..." Laodice paused for a moment, realizing he had no idea what Vexx's power was. He cringed inside himself. He hated to look like a fool, especially when speaking. "What, exactly, is it that you do?" he asked. He looked at Vexx's catlike face. What an odd person. Especially for a boy. He looked like a rather feminine cat. Not everyone's lucky, Laodice thought, but he quickly reprimanded himself silently. It wasn't really his nature to think ill thoughts of another. He smiled, trying to somehow appologize for a deed that only he knew of. He watched as Tiffany approached the fountain and manipulated teh water. The glistening liquid danced to and fro. Magical, he thought, feeling slightly sad that the beauties of color and music were lost in the world he had access to.
