Name: Jarrod Sparks
Nicknames: Sparky, J-Rod
Aliases: None
Age: 20
Marital Status: Single
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Weight: 143 lbs.
Height: 5'11''
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Dark Brown
Clothing: His casual clothing includes a baggy, black T-shirt with some clever catch phrase or another on it. He also wears jeans, also baggy, with more pockets then can be counted. Black sneakers adorn his feet, completing the immage of the black-clad emo(Although his personality is far from it). Formal wear is always either a black suit, white shirt and simple tie or a tux; strangely enough, he doesn't complain about either outfit. His winter jacket is very heavy, blue in color with a zipper in the front, and his fall jacket is simply a black leather with pockets on the sides and another on the inside of the left breast.
Powers: Psychokinesis, Metacreativity (And you thought he was going to be an Electropath, didn't you?)
Weakness: No special weaknesses; however, he's just as vulnerable as any other human being what with the lack of defensive powers.
Power related issues: They cause his eyes to produce light; heavy use is tiring and extreme use causes unconsciousness.
Personality: Kind and light-hearted, Jarrod is an incredibly good person who has an incredible sense of justice. Unfortunately, that combination gives him two extremes. At his best, he is just, authoritative and fair; at his worst he is zealous, preachy and dictatorial. Usually, he finds himself somewhere between the two, not being right all the time but usually having at least the right idea.
History: Jarrod hasn't had the most difficult life; however, being a meta-human, he also hasn't had the easiest. He was born to an upper-class family on the high end of New York City. He was a bright child, even enough so to be called 'Gifted,' but there wasn't anything that set him apart from his fellow children until he was about six years old. That was when his powers began to manifest; he could make objects appear out of thin air, move things without touching them and alter the state of simple matter on a subatomic level. His parents tried to hide his powers, but Jarrod couldn't stand it. So it was that at the age of ten, Jarrod Sparks began using and developing his powers despite his parents' wishes, and so it was that at the age of ten, Jarrod Sparks was disowned.
He was juggled around from orphinage to orphinage as the caretakers struggled to find him an adoptive family, but because of his powers, most people were too scared to even look at him; those that were only did so out of disdain or cautious regard. Jarrod didn't leave the orphinage until he reached the age of 18, at which time he moved out on his own. However, being a super-powered human, no college was willing to accept him, and he was unable to get a good job. That was when he got tired of the 'real world' and started living in his own, even turning to a life of crime for a short time. It wasn't until two years later, after serving a few months in jail for petty theft, that Jarrod found the school for the gifted, embracing it as he eagerly went on to a college-level education.
