Powers: Control of magnetic fields, including the Earth's gravity. Laodice can also enter or throw things into the fourth or fifth dimension.

Weakness: Powerful magnets

Power related issues: If Laodice focuses incorrectly, he can accidentally increase the gravity around him, making himself heavy to the point of breaking his legs or other bones. Also, if he enters the alternate dimension with another person or item, he has a hard time finding it if he can't hold on, since light cannot reach that dimension. Also, as he travels through the alternate dimension, he is traveling through the space of the normal three dimensions as well, so he still has to go around solid objects. If there is an object in the way of his return, he can feel it but cannot see it, if it's a person they cannot feel his touch, and he cannot move the object unless he took it with him. It's like traveling in darkness and nonexistence.

Personality: Laodice thinks himself to be insightful when he speaks. He likes to try to encourage others or help them to see logic. He is quiet at most times and thinks before he speaks.

Clothing: Laodice wears long white pants and a white, tucked-in t-shirt. He wears black shoes and a gold watch.

History: Laodice was 14 when he learned about his powers. He was reading a book when it was suddenly thrust to the floor, the gravity around it being increased. He stood up, but was pushed down by the same gravity field. Under the pressure, both of his legs were broken. After getting out of the hospital, his parents wanted an explanation of his injury and the flattened book they found next to him. After his inability to answer, they simply decided not to probe too much into it.
A few weeks later, Laodice was walking down a hallway and fell into darkness. He could feel the walls of the hallway, though, so he assumed he had gone blind. Suddenly returning to the normal dimensions, he exaplained that he had gone temporarily blind to his parents. After a visit to the doctor, they found there was nothing wrong with him.
A few days passed before he started to be able to control his powers. After figuring out what they were, he explained it to his parents and demonstrated so that they would understand. Instead of understanding, they became afraid and called an agency for the collection of the gifted. Feeling hurt, Laodice fled. For three years, he lived on his own in any alley he could find. He spent this time practicing his powers. He was 18 when he was contacted by a scout and reached Cassis.

Big Question: What the Heck is the fourth dimension?!

Simply put... time. Now, I will go into detail.
Space, which is made of three dimensions(height, width, depth) is constantly traveling through time. But time expands past space. Laodice can open up a gateway into the dimension of time alone, apart from space.

To illustrate:
Time is a big box and space is a smaller box within it. Normally, you stand in the small box(space) and are in both(space and time). Once Laodice steps out of the small box(space), he stands in the big box alone(time), separated from the small box(space).

Continued:
Now that Laodice is in time, separate from space, he can travel without being seen, as light cannot reflect off of time. But space still travels through time, so Laodice can feel, but not see or affect space and space cannot feel him physically as he no longer exists physically.

To illustrate:
Laodice stands in the big box(time) and can still touch and feel the little box(space), but anyone in the little box(space) cannot feel Laodice's touch from outside the little box(space) as it is blocked by the barier between the two boxes( sets of dimensions).

What?! A FIFTH dimension?!

Yes, a fifth dimension. It's called "Alowi", an acronym for "A land of what isn't". Just as things that exist have their own dimensions, so do things that don't exist. That includes your thoughts and imagination. You have a constant connection to all dimensions, including this one, at all times. You make a connection to it every time you think and imagine. To enter this dimension means to step out of time and space and to enter a world of your imagination.

The world is completely white because your imagination contains all colors. These colors mix to form white light. Simple. When you enter, you can see what you're thinking about come to life in front of you. It's easy to get confused if you take another person with you because you can see their thoughts too. Also, you may be decieved into believing things that aren't true. You may see, touch, and talk to images of people you know but they won't be the real person. They will be the image of them that you know and they will respond to your questions and statements in a way that you believe they would, not necessarily in the way that the real person would. Remember that everything there is created in your mind and in the mind of anyone there with you.

Since nonexistance travels through neither time nor space, you cannot move through space while in this dimension and time does not elapse in the other dimensions while you are inside(Haven't you ever had a dream that seemed like a few days when you only slept a few minutes?).
