Wandering Through Fun

[Vaan-kun]

Vaan wandered through the gathering crowd in the fair, looking about all the activities, such as the rides, the games, and so many people. Vaan felt he needed to be in places like this, just to take care of his needs. There were so many colors around the entire place... even though he prefered darker colors, instead of yellow or white and... one looked pink, yet a bit more red. He was just another kid stuck in the crowd of people enjoying themselves.

Oshaya, walking in his direction, spotted a familiar face of an aqauntiance. She smiled, as she had been touring this festive fair all alone today. Kamon hadn't asked her to the fair, and it was true, she felt something for him, but it wasn't enough, on her part nnor his, apparently, to bring the two of them together in relationship. So, she was single, and ready to mingle. Once Oshaya reached him, she stopped, and began to walk with him in his direction, "Hey there, Vaan, is it?" She smiled. As she'd noticed before, he was quite cute. "What's up? What's a cute fellow like you doing out here all alone?

[Vaan-kun]

Still walking, he looked to Oshaya who seemed to appear out of the blue for him. Trying not to look surprised, he put on a smile as he spoke to her. "Just exploring the grounds... I might get on the roller coaster, though. A lot of people lined up for it, even the people who had just gotten off, so it must be good." Vaan said to her. He liked the 'cute' compliment, even though he himself didn't think he was. "And if I remember right, your name was Oshaya." He thought he'd return the name recognition, just to let her not think he'd completely forgotten her... that would have been ackward...

[Krispey]

Oshaya smiled brightley, side-stepping a few people who had stopped to admire the roller coaster itself.
She looked back to Vaan, "Wow, you've got a great memorey!" she laughed abit. Oshaya sighed, "Well, I have nothing else to do, so do you mind if I just hang out with you today, ya know, at the fair and all?"
Hopefully, he'd say yes, and Oshaya hoped she didn't seem obssesive or anything by asking the favor of hanging out together.

[Vaan-kun]

Vaan made a closed smile, as if in delight and as if to say yes. "Sure, why not? Some things are better when you enjoy them with someone else." Vaan said to her. This remended him of the spirits that he used to play with when he was little... at the one haunted mansion... he'd done a ton of things most kids his age wouldn't dare. Sometimes, he'd get lost, but he'd always find himself back on the first story, and saying good bye... "So, what do you want to do?" Vaan asked her.

[Krispey]

Oshaya smiled, nodding, in agreement with Vaan. Somethings were better when you enoyed them with others. She could see now, that Vaan had a good head on his shoulders, but wasn't going to keep that thought set in stone, because people were liable to change. "Uuuhhhm," Oshaya paused, "Well, Im hungry, what about you?" She looked around, her raven optics landing on a french frie stand, "French fries!!" Oshaya hooked her arm with Vaan, and skipped off to the french frie stand.

[Vaan-kun]

Vaan looked at the french fries, and he could already feel his empty stomach growling for food. Well, he was hungry anyways, so why was he complaining? He walked over to the french fry stand, though not fast enough to beat the happily skipping Oshaya. "I'll go ahead and buy them." Vaan told her as he ordered two containers of fries. After paying, he handed one to her. "Bottom's up!" Vaan said. "And if you want anything with that, there's ketchup over there." He pointed to the edge of the french fry stand. He personally didn't like ketchup... just something about it.

[Krispey]

((Hahahhaha 'just something about it)) Oshaya stepped back as Vaan offered to buy. She thought against protesting, and insisting to buy, but she decided to allow someone to do something nice for her for once in a lifetime. She didn't always have to be the hero that she clearly wasn't. She took the french fries, thanking Vaan, before going to the end of the french fry stand, sprinkling a little salt followed by ketchup on the fries. "Thanks again, Vaan! You're so kind!" She chuckled, deciding to hook arms once more with Vaan, popping a fry in her mouth. "You know, french fries didnt originate in France...They came from Greece." Oshaya smiled after reciting a lame joke...But hey! It fitted the occasion.

[Vaan-kun]

"Really? I thought they were French fries because it was a method the french used to make fries... eh, who knew?" Vaan said as he took a fry and ate it. Delicious was the only word to mid. He went over to the area and simply put salt on it, and then ate another. Better was the next word after delicious. "Something so simple is so tasty." Vaan comented as he took another bite.

[Delerium]

Another student of the Cassis academy was at the end of the table Oshaya and Vaan shared - at the very end.
Ethan poked at the poutine he'd orderd with the little wooden fork carnies always gave you. He suddenly wasn't hungry; a poutine reminded him too much of home. His mom made THE best poutine you could ever have. She used real monteray jack cheese, home-made fries, and even doused them with cayenne pepper powder before she liberally ladled on the steaming, homemade gravy.
It made Ethan's mouth water just thinking about it, but the hastily made meal drowing in hot sauce before him failed to entice him.
The half-dragon sighed and began scoring errant lines in the wooden picnic table with a talon, his long, scaley tail swishing absent-mindedly. He cast a forlorn look over at the two teens on the other end of the table, but quickly looked away; he decided he didn't want to see their expressions if they caught him looking their way.
/Grow up/ came Arlaxishar's voice all of a sudden. /What, are you gonna hide from people all your life just because you look a little different? Show some backbone, dammit! I can't believe I got fused with such a cowardly little... Urgh. Opportunity must be seized; not snatched out of the wind as it passes by! Get up and get over there!/
Ethan was tempted to stay put just to spite the saucy dragon, but it truly was what he wanted - not to mention he'd have to listen to Arlaxishar griping all night if he didn't.

Taking a deep breath, Ethan picked up his poutine and approached the pair. "Uh, excuse me... My name's Ethan; d'you guys mind if I hang with you?" His smile was friendly, but his crimson gaze shone with fear.

[Krispey]

Oshaya looked up, having not noticed the boy who sat at the end of the table where herself and Vaan sat. The sudden voice came as a slight startle, but Oshaya refused to show, only a slight jump playing in the eyes of the others. She chuckled abit at her own startilization, as she realized the boy, half lizard or reptile or something, asked ot hang out with them. Usually, /Oshaya would have made it hard on the guy, but decided against it...It was time she started getting to know even more people.
"Uh. Suuure! Sit down, we can all become friends."

[Vaan-kun]

Vaan looked at the boy/lizard thing that had just spoken, and smiled as a way of welcome. "Go ahead... we both don't mind making a trio." Vaan said to him. Well, he was different, and his parents did always say to look for the best in people... his best, it would take a bit of time to find it. "My name's Vaan, and she's Oshaya. Who are you?" Vaan asked him... the most important part of making a friend is the obvious getting-to-know=their-name part... though maybe he should have let Oshaya introduce herself....

[Delerium]

Arlaxishar snorted in his mind; /Didn't you already give your name? Humans... How has your pitiful race survived this long?/
Ethan ignored him.
"It's Ethan," he repeated, though no less polite. "Oshaya, Vaan, nice to meet you." He appeared genuinely pleased to be allowed to 'hang' with them.
He took a seat beside Vaan, not wanting the girl to feel crowded by him.
Oh, hot sauce!
The brief bout of homesickness gone and forgotten, Ethan dug into his poutine with gusto.
/Geez. D'you want some fries with your hot sauce?/
"Shut up, Arlaxishar..." Ethan mumbled under his breath.

Oshaya nodded at Vaan's comment about bmaking a new trio. She didn't mind either. Oshaya also didn't mind Vaan telling her name, and wasn't going to make a big deal of it. I wonder if this either guy thinks we're a couple or something...Hah, that would be funny if he did. Oshaya ate another french fry, her eyes diverting to the newly arrived Ethan. He had said something about..An Arlaxishar? he'd told 'it' or 'him' to shutup. "What? I dont know of any Arlaxishar." Oshaya had quirked a brow, intrsted to know just what he had been talking about.

[Vaan-kun]

"It's an interesting name, though. Who's is it?" Vaan asked him. Either it was a small pet, an imaginary friend, or a voice in his head that tells him to do things... Vaan's been there... and he didn't plan to go back to it. "If you want an interesting name, try Lomota... or maybe Naav, my name backwards..." Vaan was in a good mood today... maybe the the mood swings are going away... it's a good thing he thought it and didn't blurt that...
