[Vaan-kun]

Vaan wandered around the mall, being a bit overcrowded with so many people walking around, some almost bumping into him. It wasn't the funnest of places, but none of his favorite places to go were around at that moment. He found a decent shop near the end of the mall, with a darkish and scary sort of feeling in the air... and it wasn't even Halloween.

He looked at the many items on display at the shop, from black cat statues to voodoo dolls, if you wanted a decent Halloween party, this would be a place for decorations. Looking more, he went aheead and bought himself a pack of tarot cards. He thought it would be a nice way to keep from boredom. He walked out of the store and continued throughout the mall.

Oshaya had spotted a boy enter the shop. He was indeed pretty cute, where as most the people entering the shop were creepy and wierd looking. As he manuvered over to the tartor cards, Oshaya had been right next to him, admiring the knee-high socks. One caught her eye, black and orange striped socks. Where today, Oshaya had been wearing a black shirt that hugged her shoulders, and was outlined in red, along with shorts and black and red striped socks, and normal athletic sneakers.

One arm was crossed loosley over her chest, the other bent at the elbow, fingers resting upon her chin. She then glanced over at the boy, well, he looked older than she was, and the item he was picking up. "You're into that stuff?" Oshaya asked, her voice clearly stating that she wasn't.

e looked up to the girl, not really noticing her until just that moment. "No, I just thought I'd find something interesting to do in my spare time." Vaan said to her, his red eyes looking onto the cards. "I have more interesting hobbies than wondering what will happen to me today, wouldn't you think?" He WOULD rather be at the house back in San Jose, his favorite place to pass the time, but being so far away, he couldn't, leaving him bored. "You see anything better in a shop like this?"

Oshaya nodded, taking in what he had said about having better things to do. "I would hope so...I wouldn't want to be sitting around all day, staring at some cards that will most likely depress you with the symbol of death and hate appearing on every card you flip over." Then, she shook her head yes, "Well, yes, thes socks right here are intresting to me because they're part of my style...Besides these, nothing really."

Vaan looked at the socks and then at her clothes. Yes, it did seem to have a decent match with them. "The most fun I'd ever had as a kid was entering every haunted spot in town... school was boring, home was boring... even the dog was boring because he slept all day... so I have a case of natural boredom..." Vaan said to her. If he could pull it off, he'd attempt a part in a murder movie... can you say 'Chainsaw Massacre 2'?

He let his eyes wander the shelves, tables and... an old woman who was alseep on the counter, who looked like she was drooling. "I would put your hands or socks on the counter if you buy anything..." Vaan said to her, a bit disgusted.

Oshaya chuckled abit at the boy's last comment, only to look over at the woman, disgusted as well. "How grotesque is that?" Oshaya asked in somewhat a whisper, as if she didn't want to wake the woman. "Anyway, I'm Oshaya, what's your name?"

He looked back to her before introducing. "It's Vaan... I come from San Jose, California, where are you from?" Vaan asked her. It's been a long while since he had last had a decent conversation, so this was a nice moment for him. He couldn't help but hear a snore coming from the woman, and he tried his best to ignore it.

Oshaya quirked a brow at the woman, who was obviously enjoying her favorite hobbie, it seemed. Oshaya couldn't help but chuckle at the woman, before diverting her attention back to Vaan. "I'm Oshaya,a nd aI come from a small town where I was used to being really popular...Not that I can say the same for where I am now." She ,mumbled the last part, but then smiled, "But nice to meet you, Vaan."

(I think you already said your name. lol)

Vaan made a small smile; most people always seemed like jerks, but so far, this girl seemed a bit nicer... compared to High School back home, this was heaven. "It's nice to meet you too." Vaan said as he walked up to the counter. Since she was still asleep, and he didn't exactly want to wake her, so he got a paper scrap from his pocket and a pen and wrote down what he purchased and left the money next to it. "Seems easy enough." Vaan said as he walked back up to her.

Oshaya watched as Vaan walked up to the counter, writing on a piece of paper, and leaving money there. She unhooked a pair of socks from the shelf, and waited until he came back over. "I love your honesty." She said, still in a slight whisper. It would have been so easy for someone to just walk out with whatever they wanted. Then, she went to the othingyer, repeating the process that Vaan had first went through. She walked to the exit of the store. "Well, I'm going to go, but maybe we'll meet again?"

Vaan nodded at Oshaya. "Yeah, I'm sure we will." Vaan said. He might look around the shop a bit more before living... looking at his watch, he still had a few hours until he had anything intereting planned. "See you later, then." He said to her as he turned to look at a what looked like a black cat that was trying to look tough by making itself bigger... but really, it was a pathetic way to show it, especially if it were some junkyard dog they were up against. At this point, most of the things in here were a bit pathetic altogether...
