Vanden drudged in, and took a seat by himself at a booth. His shoulders were slumped a bit, he was still tired and confused about last night. It still amazed him that it had only been his first day. What's in store for the second day, Vanden? He shuddered. A waitress came up to him, and smiling politely he waved her off.

Amberly watched her feet move in a sequin motion as she drew closer to the cafe. Her stomache was rumbling a little and the food at the school was nothing compared to here. She rubbed the back of her neck as she looked up after reached the outside tables and instantly noticed that one person there was someone she knew. She grinned thinking about sitting with Vanden, but would he want her too?
She moved in closer to a table and stood a few seconds before sitting.

Vanden looked up, his eyes dull. "Oh. Hello, Amberly." His tone was inviting but his eyes said otherwise. "How was your night?" Only the slightest twinge of venom was in his voice, barely noticeable.

"It was pretty good... I needed the rest." She left the table she was standing at and went over to Vanden taking a seat at his table. She crossed her leg over the other and leaned back in the chair, taking in her surroundings and the smell of the food they had cooking.
"Well, Any sight of... Commander Seaheart?" She put her hand up to her forhead and attempted to solute Vanden.

Vanden giggled in spite of himself, a weak grin on his face. "Yeah, I was tired too. Some first day, right?" He looked down at the table, and twiddled his thumbs twice. "As for Seaheart, I don't know, and frankly..I'd rather not see him. It's pretty much just conflict between us, even though it may be my fault..." He shrugged and looked back up, plastering a fake smile. "So, got any romantic interests yet?" There was a hint of playfulness in his voice.

Shara walked into the cafe, not really hungry but just wanted to sit down and relax. She saw two people sitting and chatting. She knew she had a rough couple of days, but wandered over by a table that near them, she wondered if the would notice her and talk with her. But she shouldnt get her hopes high, because she was usually invisible anyway.

Vanden barely noticed the other girl at the table next to theirs, but turned to her. He looked carefully at her, she seemed tired, or angry or something. He decided to be nice anyways. It could only help the awkwardness between him and Amberly right now. "Uhm, hello." He called out to her. He was smiling politely. "I'm Vanden."

Shar looked up to see a boy smiling at her. His name was Vanden. Vanden. Vanden. Where have I heard that name before? Thoughts flew through her mind. But she couldnt recognize him. "Hello."She said, rather shyly. "I'm Shara."She introduced. She didnt know whether to get up and go over there or stand her ground. She decided to stay there, but looking in his direction.

"Are you new here, too?" He smiled politely, and looked back to Amberly, gesturing her to join the converstation. "This is Amberly, by the way." He was blushing now. He debated asking her to sit with them, but didn't want to seem too creepy.

Shar nodded. "Yea. Just came to this school today, actually."She admitted. She bit her lip, still debating on going over there or not. She didnt want to seem to desperate to talk to someone, but didnt want to sit by herself either. She brushed her hair out of her face and tucking a lock behind her ear.

Amberly laughed a little to the thoughts of Commado Sea to the rescue. "Yeah, Too bad he was trying to fight you rather than help me when that spiked ball was chasing me. I guess it was kinda good that he took the blow from the ball for us. It was nice of you to pull me away. I was almost ready to help him out... Romantic interests.. Hummm, Let me see. I think there is som..." She paused after he started talking to her. She too was interested in this girl and invited her over with a nodd. "Hey! How's it going? I'm Amberly, of course he just told you that.!"

Vanden smiled a bit. "Oh, really? Whom might that be?" He smiled mischeviously. "Yeah, Shara, you can come sit with us if you want." He motioned with his head and smiled politely. "I'm glad to be at least talking to people..I was so freaked out I wouldn't get to know anyone."

Shar nodded. "Like I am now?"She asked, starting to smile. She got up and stepped over to the table and sat next to Varden. She smiled at Amberly and took in her amazing looks. "Nice to meet you Amberly. And you too Varden."She nodded towards them each as she said their names. She was grateful someone was paying attention to her.

Amberly muffled a laugh as she pronouned Vandens name, but tried to keep it under wrapps and decided not to say anything. "Well, I don't know if that guy likes me or not. I don't think I'm brave enough to ask.
"Well, it's nice to meet you too Shara. I really hope that we're going to have a good year, cause I'm looking forward to some more danger room missions."

Shar looked at her questioningly. "Danger Missions?"She asked. She had no clue what that was and she didnt seem to remember anything about that. She didnt even try to hide her curiousity and confusion about the topic.
