Sunbathing [[Should]] Be a Sport

Maeve strolled around the pool toward one of the more sunny places. Her hair was free of all ornaments, having removed them all the other night. She currently wore a short white, and what appeared to be, nightgown. It's straps were thin and the neck was a low-cut V-neck. Her feet were bare as she slowly found a lounge chair. Pulling two chairs into a sunny spot in the room, Maeve sat herself comfortably in one of them. She pealed the white nighty off to reveal a scarlet colored two-piece. The top was a halter styled top with thin straps and once more, a low cut V-neck. The bottoms were a regular style with chains at the sides. And from the center link of the chains hung a small skull shaped charm for decoration. Her legs seemed to go on for miles as she sat and relaxed in the chair. One leg was bent at the knee. A hand delved into the small black bag she had brought with her and pulled out a pair of black thick rimmed, rectangular sunglass. Slipping them on, Maeve relaxed and breathed slowly, enjoying the warmth.

[Ven]

"Hey babe." Ven said cooly, flopping into the chair she had recently pulled up.

"I must say you look positively remarkable." He said, he himself, also placing a pair of sunglasses onto his face, a large pair of aviators.

His body seemed to become very rigid, as he had begun his heat bath. It was something that usually happened to reptiles when they began to sunbathe. ZSure he was concious, however in the state he was in it could be very easy for a almost any none pain causing thing to happeen to him without him noticing, all just a part of being a reptile, he was afterall relying on Maeve to make this more interesting.

[•Mouse•]

" Babe?" She looked at him over the rim of her glasses and chuckled lightly. Such a casually, overused greeting, something she hardly expected from Ven. But the bnoy was still a bit of a mystery at times.But hearing the comment she leaned back into her chair and nodded her head.

" Why, thank you, Ven." She laughed as he placed a pair of aviators on his face. Huge sunglasses, kind of bohemian at first glanced. She laughed and sat straight up. She moved herself to straddled his lap and looked down at him from above her sunglases.

" If you think you get to just sit here and ignore me, my dear, you are completely wrong." Came her sly statement. She lowered her head, kissing him softly on the lips. Pulling back she smiled down at him, hands on her hips, waiting for some form of reaction. Actions speak louder than words.[/i] came her mental quote.

[Ven]

"Trust me Maeve ignoring you might just be impossible." Only his mouth moved the rest of him remaining like a statue.

"However, it would take something spectacular, even for you, to get me out of this state." He continued, realizeing now that this may have been a total waste of a time when she was in a bathing suit.

"I mean, snakes have been known to let spiders crawl across their eyes when theiir sun bathing, It's gonna take quite some coaxing to get me to move." He told her. His large snake-like fangs seemed larger than normal as he basked, his mouth moving slowly and opening to a greater size as he spoke, showing them off slightly.

[•Mouse•]

" Coaxing? Do I have to flash you?" Questioned Maeve, quite seriously. Sighing she sat there, not moving from his lap, and thought deeply about what might get him to move.Smiling she thought of something good and decided to act upon it.

With her hands stationed on either side of his neck she lowered herself to lay her upperbody agaisnt his perfectly. She rested her cheek against his, like she had earlier in the forest the other day. Her teeth gently brushed against his ear lobe before she spoke. " If it comes to my having to flash you, so be it." Her voice was in a hush as she spoke, breathe on his ear. Then, taking the lobe of his ear between her teeth, began to nibble. If he didn't respond to having her pressed against him, nibbling his ear and the hand which had fount the back of his neck.

[Ven]

"Well I must say that would help." Ven replied grinning to her. He had to admit he was really enjoying the company of having her here with him.

"And believe me when I say that I love having you here, just let it be known that quite frankly for me it's a bodily function to shut down when i relax in the sun. Looking back I'll admit thhat it may have been wiser to pick something else as my prize, but since I can't, lets see if you can shock me back into mobility."

[•Mouse•]

Maeve sat up, han ds on her hips as if annoyed. But she understood that it was just something he couldn't help. It annoyed her to great extent, however her last and only remaining resort was indeed to flash him.

" Shock? If I wanted to shock you, sweety, I would have a fat guy flash you. This is coaxing." Taking the fact no-one else happened to be in the pool room this early, A hand reached back and pulled at the bow behind her neck. The bow came undone and the top fell from it's place, only being attached thanks to the strap around her torso. There she sat, her upper have completely exposed and acted as if it were absolutely nothing.

" So..." She said rather bluntly, hands on hip as she remained how she had been. Quirking her brow brielfy, it was as if adding more emphasis at the question. If anyone came in all they would see was a now topless Maeve, stradling a relaxing Ven. Someone would get the wrong idea, but Maeve clearly didn't care because she sat with a completely soft smile on her face. Waiting, just waiting, for his reaction.

[Ven]

Ven lightly flipped up his aviators, his body actually moving as his hands reached uo his sunglasses.

"Well, I'm coaxed." Ven replied, partially breathless. This was a first. never once had he ever been basking and had this happen, he had to say it wasn't exactly unenjoyable

"You have officially conquered all of reptilian kind, we now know exactly how to beat any of reptile." Ven said essentially just babbling now, no meaningfull words actually coming into his head, his mind being completely distracted.

I think I'm in love. Ven thought silently, finding himself once again unable to tear his eyes away from the sight infront of him.

[•Mouse•]

Maeve smiled with satisfaction. Fallowing his eyes gave she laughed very softly. She leaned forward to kiss him, ending the pointless babling, trying not to laugh at his reaction. He acted as if this was the first time he had ever been flashed in anyway. The girl was having a hard time believing that and while kissing him, retied the top in place. Pulling away she smiled, nodding her head.

" Least I now know how to get your undivided attention." She stated as a matter of factly. " So, is it decided that you'll pay a litle more attention to your girlfriend. Who, might I add, removed her top in public just now? When, in all actuality, she truly did not have." She spoke on with a mock-unhappy voice, the smile on her face making it completely apparent she really didn't care at all.

[Ven]

"Well if you consider that the only way to get my attention you've only given me a bigger reason to ignore you." ven explained cheerfully, kissing her back.

"But in all fairness you did have to come, I do recall you offering it as a prize." He was slowly beganing to loose the babbling in his voice, becoming his somewhat more serious self once again.

"But I must admit I do heavily apprecaite you removing that. Quite the view it was." Ven said happily, pushing his aviators back up his face slightly.

" You couldn't ignore me. You know it." She said lowering herself to lay once more almost completely flat against him. Her face had once more settled beside his as her breathe danced across his earlobe.One hand started from the space where neck met shoulder and slowly eased it's way down over his collarbone, pressed against her own breast a bit as it trailed along the edge and down to his side where it settled.

" And in all fairness if you ever wish to recieve such a view again, you wouldn't ignore someone sitting on your lap, now would you." She continued, her breathe still against his cheek and ear. This was a little reminder that she had indeed stradled his waist line and sat just about on his bellybutton. Though he had a good point about her having to come, nothing about this particular part had been mentioned in the original agreement. However, Maeve was quite aware that both parties involved in this fiasco were thoroughly enjoying every move she made. Once more, she nibbled his ear, positive he was more aware of it this time around.

[Ven]

"Oh I think we both know that ignoring you would be quite the feat." e said placing a hand over her back affectionately as she lay down on him.

"And believe me when I say that if given the option I would never ignore you. basking is just a.....reptile thing." Ven said, his ear twitching slightly as shhe nibbled on it.

"If it would make you feel more even I could add that into your list of powers, allong with the scales/claws if you really want them."

[•Mouse•]

" The only thing I'd want other than those delightful claws is those enticing fangs you have there." Her hand which had settled at his side move to his chin and neck, a thumb carresing both his lowerlip and the fangs. Her thumb rested on the fangs each in their own time and she smiled, resting her head on his shoulder. Maeve rolled her body off and onto the side of the lounge chair, a leg thrown over his waist as she was to lazy to remove it fully. And at the touch of his hand on her back, a shiver went down her spine.

" And how do you suppose I get these powers, Anyways?" A question that had been nagging and pestering Maeve for sometime. She relaxed comfortably in the sun, her body pressed against Ven's side now. A hand rested beneath her cheek which rested on his shoulder, while the other settled at the center of his chest. All for the sheer fact he was comfy. Deep green eyes wandered to her own hip to catch the light dancing and reflecting off the skull shaped charm. Thoughs flooded her mind about the previous adventure in the woods, and she couldn't help but smile.

" Yesturday was fun." She whispered more to herself than to Ven, the hand on his chest stretched to arms length and nails gently dug into skin as if stretching fully.

[Ven]

"Yesterday was fun." He whispered to her quietly.

"However if you really want these claws and fangs you would need to get, well a few shots, with a small needle." he said, pinching his fingers together to demonstrate the size.

"And the fangs could be a reality, claws may take some time though." He said, thinking back talking about needles may not have been thhe wisest choice if he wanted to keep the mood.

[•Mouse•]

" Eh. We'll discuss it more when the time comes to the issue, yes?" Maeve suggested. It wasn't the talk of needles that had distracted her but the fact he had pinched his fingers together. He had been tempting her without probably knowing it. The hand that was stationed on his chest moved to her own hip and her fingers worked at the skull charm out of habbit. The metal was cool to the touch and yet the warmth of her skin was something far different as she lay beside Ven in the sun.

" You know," Began the girl, sitting up a bit to look him in the eyes. " I could probably dose off into a comfortable sleep and not move a muscle right now." She moved about to straddle his lap again and placed her hands on her hips. " But that would not be very rewarding for you giving in yesterday, now would it?" Came the long awaited question.

" So..." Once more Maeve stopped before going on to her topic she wanted to actually discuss. " What ever should I do?" Her eyes fell on him, questioning the very few options.
