Twilight

~He stood there on the edge of the forest. The end of another long day.~ "The days seem to stretch on forever here." ~Alastor stood there watching as the sun began to set behind the mountains in the west. This was his favorite time of day. Twilight. Twilight to him was when the light drained away. Making way for the night, to see what tomorrow might bring. That was the only thing Alastor was sure about if nothing else in this world. That he would always be there to see what tomorrow brings.~ "Sigh" ~He fell back to the hard ground and turned his head to see the last bit of the sun hide behind those majestic mountains.

Night had finally fallen. Alastor could remember a time when he was afraid of the dark, it had been so long ago, those words of wisdom still fresh in his mind. A voice firm yet loving at the same time, the voice of this mother whom was long gone from this world.(Alastor dear, the dark is nothing to be afraid of. It is what awaits you in the dark you must fear, but if you face with all your heart you can vanquish anything.) ~Then a tear streamed down his cheek and hit the dirt where he lay. It had been a long time since he thought of his mother or any of his family as a matter of fact. They had died so long ago, leaving him alone in the world, but he didn't hate them. It wasn't there fault, no it was no ones fault. Alastor lay ed there and closed his eyes reliving some of his most cherished memories in his dreams forgetting what ever it was that tomorrow would bring.~

~Alastor awoke with a start. His sense that detected other gift eds had awoken him. The night was still young, he had probably only slept for an hour or so. He looked into the sky for the moon, but saw only clouds. He then stood up, and patted the dirt from his cloths. The person was getting closer. At that moment he remembered his mother's words. Alastor had never been comfortable around other people, it had been this way for years, he learned a long time ago to shut them out of his life, but it was hard to do that at Cassis, his sense ability always reminded him that others were around him. To him they were what was waiting in the dark, although he did make at least on friend. Belle, she was always so kind to him. She gave him hope that he could open his heart to the others around him.~ "Who goes there?"

[Kasumi]

Kasumi snuck slowly into the dark forest. She was hunting again, but she didn't know these woods yet, so she was just looking around right now. It was very dark, and she didn't see the point in having a flash light since it wouldn't do much. She touched a nearby tree, and felt that it was rotting. It would probably fall any minute. She moved on.

About five minutes later she heard something. Could it be a person, or an animal? She thought to herself stopping next to a tree. "Hello?" She said moderately loud, so that if there was a person, they would know she was there.

"Is anybody there?", she said louder this time. She took her bow and got into a stance to be ready for whatever it could be. She took an arrow and gently licked it to put some venom on it.

[Krispey]

His silvery tresses shrouded his strong face, his back against a tree, head down. His insides hurt, and although no one could see it through tears or anything else, Nashino was deeply angered and depressed. Well, perhaps some could detect a change in his whole persona, especially his friends. I mean, the once joking, goofy-goofy Nashino was gone. He was now serious, angry all the time Nashino. These days, anything could set him off, and he was on the look out.

But, wouldn't you be if your sister had been kidnapped? But it was all too strange...They had kidnapped a little girl's brother who happened to be a gifted and attended Cassis, and right after he warned his sister, Maya, they took her too. This was not a good birthday present. Infact, is ruined his entire week, and would ruin his life if he didn't find a way to get his beloved younger sister back.
"Who goes there?" Nashino's head lifted. The voice was near, but near enough to where he would be able to make out a figure. Was he not the only one inhabiting this forest? Apparently not...Imidiatley, Nashino was on defense. "Is anybody there?"
Through the dark, Nashino could make out a figure, and it yielded a weapon.

In his hands, a cool, below diskus began to form in his hands, formed of pure ice. It was about two inches thick. And with that made, Nashino hurled it at the stranger, the diskus cutting through the air at a rapid speed.
"Why," He asked through clenched teeth. "So you can kidnapp some more of us?!?" His voice echoed throught the forest.

[Kasumi]

Kasumi had just gotten done with saying "Is anybody there?", when she heard something ripping through the forest branches. Her eyes widened and something had hit her right in the jaw. She almost toppled over, but she caught herself. There on the floor was what looked like an ice ball or something. She looked around confused and felt her jaw. She looked at her hand that had just touched her left jaw, and she saw the blood. She looked to her left angrily. "Okay, now that I know it's a person..." she said loudly. "I'm not going to hurt you, so why did you do that?!" She said squinting her eyes, looking at nothing but darkness. She put away her arrow slowly and held her left jaw to stop the bleeding.

[Krispey]

Nashino, once again, thrust out a diskus made of ice, though not s thick, probably about one inch, fairly thin. Although the girl had claimed she wouldn't hurt him, Nashino didn't know what or who to trust,and hadn't planned on it, until he got his sister back, maybe. He began to walk forward his lengthy strides carrying him to toward the girl faster than most.
"Oh really? How do I know that? I don't." He knew his actions was only being made through his anger. He stopped until he was directly infront of the girl. Nashino looked down, kicking the first disk of ice he had thrown to the side.

[Kasumi]

Before Kasumi knew it, she was looking at the person who threw the ice. Her face turned to stone, with no emotion showing. "So, are you going to hit me again?", she said looking straight into his eyes. She lowered her bow even more, and kept her hand on her left jaw. The blood was now searing out between her fingers. God, when is this thing going to stop?, she thought as the blood ran down her left wrist. She swallowed hard, and took a deep breath. "I already told you that i wasn't going to hurt you, so i could care less if you beleive me or not, but just so ya know, you shouldn't go around throwing stuff at people for no reason. The cut was hurting her badly, and she knew that some venom was coming out.

[Krispey]

Nashino, returned the icy stare right back at her, his eyes meeting her own. He noted the splash of blood that had been on the disk of ice he had first thrown, and then noticed the blood that was seeping through her fingers. Wow, didn't think it was that sharp...I thought it was blunt, but if it was blunt, then it would've most likely fractured her jaw...Whatever.
"Listen little miss 'peace-to-the-world," He began, his deep and rich voice a little bitter, "There is a reason why I threw it." His eyes diverted to her bow, his finger flicking it, "But just so ya know, you shouldn't go around shootin' little animals for no reason." His facial expression, as usual was blank, though some would take it as him being mad, due to his strong features, not that this girl could completely see them in the dark.

[Kasumi]

Kasumi looked to the side and laughed at his comment. "Well, if i was miss peace-to-the-world, then why am I shooting at little creatures. Yes, that makes sense." She said now smiling. She looked back up and finally noticed what he looked like. He was pretty good looking for a jerk that would hurt someone when they didn't do anything. Her smile got smaller and her teeth didn't show anymore, and she sighed softly. "Look, I'm sorry if i startled you, but can you not throw another ice thingy because my blood is not very comforting on my skin. She swallowed again trying to control the venom in her blood.

[Krispey]

"Well, if i was miss peace-to-the-world, then why am I shooting at little creatures. Yes, that makes sense.Look, I'm sorry if i startled you, but can you not throw another ice thingy because my blood is not very comforting on my skin."
" Well, actually, it was intended to knock your jaw outta place, but I guess it was sharper than I realized," he said with a slight chuckle. For that moment, and for that moment only, he had forgotten about his troubles, and actually felt light-hearted once again....But it faded as soon as it began."And you didn't startle me," he said in a cold tone, "I figured youwere something you're obviously not..." He looked away, running his fingers through his silkin locks, inhaling deeply before sighing once more. Out of no where, his hand reache dout, pushing the girl, before he turned to walk away, "That's for the little creatures you've probably been killing," he said with a little amusement behind his serious tone of voice.

[Kasumi]

Kasumi smiled a little as he started to walk away. "Wait, where are you going?", she said confused. "Your just gonna leave?"

I guess I don't want him to go? Why? She thought starting to walk behind him. "I'm sorry if you don't like me killing little animals, but thats my favorite hobby, and I've done it since I was ten."

God, he's kinda cute...Wait, what?! Why the hell did I just think of that?! Her face turned confused for a moment, then went back to normal. She took her hand off her jaw. It was starting to stop finally. I guess thats one good thing. Maybe I just want a friend...She thought once more.

[Krispey]

He heard a voice call after him, " I'm going away from you, obviously," he called over his shoulder, though without looking back. He was always sarcastic.

"And yes, Im just going to leave, "He heard footsteps behind him, "Wow, killing animals since you were ten, wow, so you're an expret murderer now?" He asked, his voice finally calm.
He turned to face her, "You're following me, what do you want me to do? Kiss you?" He asked sarcastically, holding his arms out to the side. A slight smirk played upon his strong features as he gazed at the girl.

[Kasumi]

Kasumi stopped after him, her eye twitching at what he just said. "I just figured I should follow you. I certainly don't know where I'm going, so maybe you do. I acually think you were the one that wanted to kiss me, since you were the one who brought it up in the first place." She said now walking slowly beyond him. Her eyes turned to the ground. "It's just that I haven't talked to anyone yet, and I've been here for awhile...I guess something's wrong with me. Whatever." She said sadly as she walked further then sat on the ground playing with a twig. The bleeding had just stopped and the cut didn't hurt that much anymore. She got up after about a minute and walked slowly away. "Well see ya then..." she said leaving him and finally coming out of the forest.
