The Long Walk (OPEN)

The tears were gone and Valentine's cheeks had returned to normal color. It was several hours after his encounter with Vanden, but the tingleing on his lips still remained. "I cant be like this..." He murmered, "I cant be such a loser when it comes to the type of people I like." His confusion had changed, he was no longer confused about what he liked now he was confused about if he would ever get anyone to like him. "Claire said to take a walk, so I walk I take." Shuffling over a root, Valentine looked around the dark forest. Stopping beneath an open canopy,

Valentine gazed upwards at the fading sun then let out a scream.
Falling to his knees, Valentine began to punch at the ground with all the bottled up engery he had. Stopping his rage, Valentine lifted his hands up to his eyes, and saw that they were bleeding and cut on the knuckles from rocks and branchs.
"Crap." Valentine muttered, ripping the ends of his shorts off, and wrapping them around his knuckles. Standing back up, Valentine started walking randomly around the forest.

Kira stopped suddenly as she saw a familiar person, acting as dramatic as she first saw him.
"Valentine?" She asked, walking up behind him and tapping him on the shoulder. "What's wrong this time?" She asked, looking off into the forest that surrounded them. The last time she had seen this boy, he had been sitting by the lake in the middle of the night, and she just happened to be there at the same time. How many times was she going to run into him?

Rayne smiled and continued to walk threw the forest. She was signing the theme song to Rainbow Bright, while fiddling with the glow stick around her neck. She jumped abit when she heard a scream and giggled walking toward the voice. She spotted a female and a male and hopped from the bushes.
"HI" she said and stood with her hip popped to the right.

Jenn had also been drawn by the scream. "Hello?" She asked, emerging into the clearing and pausing, looking around. She sighed softly, oh great.... it was a group of people... not good. She decided she'd try it anyway... they all looked friendly... well, ish.

Her blue-green eyes landed on Rayne. Woah.... that's awesome she thought.

Valentine brushed tears away from his eyes, smearing blood across his cheek, "Kira...I'm glad to see you." He sighed, "Nothing is wrong..." He stopped and looked down at his hands and then at Kira, "Ok!" Valentine laughed weakly, "Somthing is wrong." About to explain to Kira what was the matter, a small rainbow popped up from the bushes. "What in the name of snapple!?" He murmered, but then flushed a red, "Er I mean, who are you?" Valentine glanced to Kira, then to the rainbow girl, then to the other girl who appeared after the rainbow girl.
"Umm Kira, are these people friends of yours, cause I dont feel that comfortble right now, y'know blood soaked hands, tear stained cheeks..." Valentine raised a brow, and stared at Kira.

"I couldn't help but hear your scream..." Jenn muttered softly. "I'm not about to hurt you..." she indicated her wings which stuck out at a wonky angle. "In case you haven't noticed I'm a winged-creature... and besides, I have some manners."

Kira stepped back, startled, at the sudden appearances of some more people. Quickly lowering her eyes to the ground, Kira glanced over at Valentine and shook her head.
"I don't know... Them..." Kira then glanced at the girl with the wings. "Just because you're a winged creature doesn't mean you're not going to hurt someone." Kira added, turning away from the new arrivals and staring off into the woods.

She shoved her hand out for a shake and smiled.
"I'm Rayne Aava. I'm from Germany. I see the furture. Who are you?" she smiled and looked at the girl shyly looking away and laughed. She then looked at the boy in blood and tears and smiled.
"I don't want to hurt anyone, I was just walking and thinking and heard you screaming and came." she answered and smiled.

Valentine nodded to Kira, "Alright.." Staggering up, Valentine looked over Rayne, "Why your a colorful girl." He laughed nervously, "And that screaming was me." Valentine glanced over towards a tree, and placed his hands behind his back. "Tought day, y'know?" He was silent for a few mintutes, "Um, oh I'm Valentine and this is...." Valentine motioned over to Kira, so she could introduce herself.

"Kira." She finished for Valentine, ignoring the girl's outstretched hand, seeing as Kira didn't see it, for she was looking the opposite direction. Glancing over at the colorful girl, Kira smirked over at Valentine and said, "It may have been a tough day for you, hence the sobbing and such, but my day has been absolutely boring!"

Rayne smiled and withdrew her hand. She then let a smile creep across her face as she fidgeted slightly seeing as she was harible at meeting new people.
"Nice to meet you both. Kira, hmm, I like that name. It's cool. And Valentine, also a awesome name."

Valentine nodded, "So besides my.." He coaghed, wipeing his blood stained hands down his pants, "Screaming, what brings you out here into the forest Rayne?" Valentine glanced warly over to Kira, raised a brow then flickered his gaze back to the girl.

"I was on a nature walk, just wanted to see the world!" she smiled and let out a small giggle.

Kira snickered. "'Nature walk'? Are you sure you're not... Lying?" At this last word Kira raised her eyes and looked straight at this girl Rayne. It's not that she was paranoid or anything, but hey, better safe than sorry. Waiting for the unknowing girl to look at Kira's eyes, Kira smirked lightly before adopting an innocent, slightly curious look.
