Just beyond the school, the lake was present. STill waters was a definate sign that it was not a windy day as she made it passed a large fir tree. "Excellent..." Michella smiled as she pushed off from the tree and started to walk to the edge of the water. As the sun hit her hair, the indigo color seemed to be a lighter color, until she reached the slight shade that the five o'clock shadow made. "I wonder who all I'm going to meet this year?... " Michella made her way to the egde of the water, watching the calm serinity of the water. Every few seconds a waterbug would make it's way on the placid lake disrupting the stillness. Sitting down, she moved all of her hair to the side and brought up her feet and propped her chin upon them.

Terren crouched down near the lake about fifty feet from Michella. He reached into the water, took a handfull, and practiced turning it to different materials. Though he was already very well aquainted with his power, this was the only place he thought to go while avoiding the danger room exercises. Terren wasn't much into battle and his powers were almost useless without anything to morph. Outside, he used the soil and rocks mostly. Inside, there wasn't really anything to use besides his enemy. This just made him think of his sister... Terren shook the thought from his mind and went back to wasting time morphing the water.

Michella sighed as her vision was cut off after seeing Terren in the corner of her eye. SHe smiled seeing him. Another soul had ventured on the beach, wanting peace, or just to skip class. Either way she was happy to see another person there. She didn't want to speak just yet but watched in amazment at the powers he posessed. (sp?) Watching the water form so well, he definately was already used to his power. "Well, I wonder what his face looks like...? I know" She whispered and instantly shrunk herself to a five inch form of herself. Right beside his foot, she instantly appeared after teleporting herself. Her powers weren't very good for attacks but for dogding and hiding, they were a duo package. She then looked back to the water formations he was doing.

Terren formed the water in his hands to be gold, his favorite element. He started to get bored and threw his homemade nugget to the side. He crossed his legs and leaned back on his hands, just enjoying the smell of the breeze blowing over the water. Looking down, he saw what he thought was a very small girl. Shocked, he jumped to his feet. He looked down again, but didn't see anything. Darn imagination. He sat back down and took a short sweep of his surroundings. Seeing nothing, he sat back down and watched the ducks swan around the lake.

As he threw the gold to the side with quick thinking, Michella quickly teleported herself back to her original spot she was in. It was a very close call. "He saw me... He saw me. Darnit..." She said inbetween rapid breaths trying to calm down, her heart was throbbing madly from almost getting hit. "Okay.. Maybe the sneaky approach isn't that good. Just go up and talk to him." Michella got up from the sandy beach, knocking the sand off her legs. 'Here goes'. She walked in his direction, unsure of what he'd say about the miniature figure of her. "Hey..."

Terren looked up. "Hello," he said slowly. Where had he seen this girl before? "How are you?" he said, not really knowing how to talk to people. Not much experience, you know. In his nervousness, the earth beneath his hands turned to a strange jelly, sinking his hands in. He quickly drew them out and wiped them off, quite embarrassed.

Michella laughed a little bit seeing the transformed sand. "Well, I'm pretty good. Just admiring the water. I love to sit here. So peaceful." She looked back to the water with a sigh, and ran her fingers through her hair. "So... Are you lonely... Would you like some company?" She crossed her hands infront of her body and rocked back and forth on her feet. This guy was cute, only as long as he didn't find out that was her just minutes ago.

"I suppose," Terren replied, turning the mysterious jelly into sand again, "What's your name? Have we met before?" Terren knew she looked familiar, but he couldn't place her. Either way, he was nervous with her around. Not many people even payed much attention to him and he wasn't really sure what to say or do. So, in his ignorance, he just stopped talking and looked out to the water again.

Michella sat away from his a little bit, noticing that the jelly was now back to sand. "That was pretty cool. The jelly and that nugget of go... uh.... " She stopped immediatly thinking that if she said something about it, he'd find out it was her. Surely, it would seem like the sun was getting to him. "Michella. It's nice to meet you... But I'm pretty sure we've not met before." She said but in her head she was thinking to a few minutes ago when she got the first glimpse of him.

"Oh, did you see that?" Terren said, "I suppose it's a waste of time. My power doesn't really give me a lot of options. Oh, wait a second..." Terren stood up, suddenly inspired. He walked up to the water and held his hands out. Slowly, round spots of water turned to stone pillars that went to the bottom of the lake. After the stepping stones formed, Terren stepped closer to the lake, concentrating harder. A platform rose in the middle of the lake, the same as the smaller stepping stones, but about ten feet in diameter with the smaller ones leading to it. He stepped onto the first stone, testing its sturdiness. "Come on," he said, gesturing for Michella to follow.

Michella watched the pillars formed in the water. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, but her balance wasn't that good. If she fell in the water, it would be disasterous. Her face showed a form of fear, but if she was to fall, her powers would come in handy. She didn't want to embarrase her self infront of him. "ARe you sure it's safe?" Michella got up and walked over to the water, putting her foot on one of the stepping stones, inspecting it thoughouly. "I... "

"I can understand if you don't want to go across," Terren said, "I think it would be safer if I made a bridge. I'm just not sure how long that would take." He looked at his stepping stones a little uneasily. He was usually confident in his abilities and the lack of confidence shown by Michella caught him off-guard. "Nobody's perfect," he thought. He looked back at Michella and smiled, the stepping stones slowly turning back to water behind him.

Michella listened to his voice as he spoke about making a bridge, while taking the first two stones. "Well, I know nobody's perfect, but I kinda have a fear of water... sort of... I can swim but I hate deep water..." She was about ready to take the next stepping stone but instantly felt uncalm seeing the stone loosing it solid form. "It's going away... Ahh.." Her voice sounded fearful looking at the water.

"Oh, sorry," Terren said, "we should probably get back on land first." He motioned for her to move back to the sand while he sustained the solid form of the first stone. He was even more embarrassed now than he was before, his clumsiness becoming rather obvious.

'What the Heck. Show your power. It beats getting wet' Michella gasped as she quickly diappeared from the stone she was on. She didn't want to have to make a fool out of herself. Michella appeared on the beach, sitting on her knee's, looking out on the platform that he was on. She had a sorry look on her face. "Sorry... I didn't mean to... I should have trusted you..."
