He smiled at her question. The darkness sucked the life out of the men, turning them to the dust of life of there were once created from. "The yes that appreciate, and understand that death is the only beauty in this world untouched by anything. Nothing can stop it. If you are immortal, it comes only to living forever, not being immune to death. It's eternal youth in a sense, nothing more. We cannot be sure of one thing in our lives, except death, which will take all of us, in any way it wants, or we want. We can enjoy how it can ravage anyone, and their is no limit as to how it does."
He said eyes closed, no longer amused, but a strange calmness, and he even sounded older. He then felt a presence. Hers but....closer. He opened his eyes and saw her right in front of him. His heartbeat picked up, and his head felt strange. He was unsure what to do or what to say. It wasn't that he didn't know but well...he and Yuna never really got...what's the word? Intimate? No. For a couple of reasons. They both loved eachother alot, and love was new to him. Next was that in the tim he knew her, it wasn't alot. Another was that osmehting bad was always happening. Another time she left on a trip. The time she came back, on their first date ever, a demen attacked happened. They broke up, and when they got back together, he left, and now her memory is erased. That's either really fuucked up, or just sad. You decide.
One reason he didn't know what to do was because he wasn't sure if he was betraying Yuna. He wasn;t sure whether to kiss her, or push her away. She was practically kissing him. Did she really like him? He muttered ibe if the fer Guado curses he knew, then replied as best as he could through their close lips "Really? After this whole experience, you think something like that would surprise me? Please do tell." He said in a voice like hers. What the heell. He could give into temptation, if only for a day. He moved their faces closer, along eith their lips.

"Those kind of eyes, huh? The kind that appreciate the utter absoluteness of death? The fact that it's the inescapable end to all?" Her voice was still a low whisper. Dementia hesitated for a moment in front of his face as the words slowly sunk into her. The words in her diary were screaming at her in Seaheart's voice. She averted her eyes from his gaze when he opened his, instead staring down at his shirt. She could faintly hear the quickening rhythm of his heart thudding in his chest and barely noticed that the tempo of hers had started to pick up as well. Seaheart closed the small space between them until she could feel his warm breath on her lips.
She hesitated for a moment, her lips slightly trembling as Seaheart moved in for what she had only meant as a taunt, not an offer at intimacy. But this guy... it was weird. He was like her in so many ways, and he sure seemed to be interested in what she had. She wanted to withdraw from him, but at the same time ached to let herself go just this once. She didn't think that she had any feelings for him, not really. The thought brought back unpleasant memories of her first meeting of Arkady, but she shook it off. No, no, god, no... Why did he come up into her mind? It wasn't like... Ugh.
She wished that she hadn't asked them about their kind of eyes. Then she would have just finished with her little tease and gone on. But now... It was different. She almost wanted to show him the answer to her taunting question. She bit her lip, unsure, and finally looked back into Seaheart's eyes. His gaze locked onto hers, grabbing her and not letting her look away. She took a shaky breath of the air they shared and finally pressed her lips against his, her arms snaking around his neck. Her nails dug into his skin as she opened her mouth slightly and pulled away just a few centimeters to speak. As she did, her lips brushed against his. Her voice was breathless.
"You're right. You don't need to know."

He nodded at her definition of their eyes. As she stared down his jacket, he was figuring she had heard his heartbeat. He listened to hers, knowing she had gotten excited as well. He didn't love her though! He didn't! He know he didn't! Did he find her attractive? Well, kinda. Did he just want someone to love?
He seemed to have no troubles with her, unlike Yuna. OK, so there were troubles, but not for the, but rather for anyone who crossed their paths, get it? Perhaps someone who was like him, and understood his meanings. But Yuna didn't do that! she just...loved him for a reason he had never found out! Dammit, why was love and attraction so hard.
Did he just liek the feeling of finally being close to someone, for being lonely. For someone who could help ease the never ending pain the memories? He didn't know. Maybe he just needed to let go. Did he just want to kiss her, feel her against him, get intimate, what? Understand her as someone to like, or as an enemy? He didn't have time to htink about this or anything as he flet her lips against his. OK, he had to admit, damn this felt good! When her nails bit into his skin, he enjoyed it, liking the feeling of pain, feeling it all the time, and for the fact he was feeling pain than nothing at all. His heart felt empty when she stopped. She did it only to spea, and when hse stopped, he was glad he didn't have to know. No time to waste for speaking. He dug his lips into hers, putting his arms around her waist, listening to her heartbeat.

Her heart skipped a beat that she was sure Seaheart would notice when he eagerly returned the kiss that she had left hanging in the sparse air between their lips. His hunger was evident in the way that he gripped her, in the way that he pressed so hard against her, searching for something in her touch that he wanted so badly to feel. His strong arms clutched her slight body around her lower back, holding her closer to him until her entire body rested along the length of his. It was utterly... comfortable. Warm. Something that she hadn't expected.
She didn't want to stop. The pressure of his lips hurt, a delicious pain, but all she seemed able to do was open her mouth up to him and hold fast as she moved her hands up his neck and twisted her fingers into his hair. She savored the taste of his lips, the feeling of his skin, the touch of his body pressed against hers, and she found herself trying to push herself even taller just to get a little more. Their hearts were starting to beat in tune, a constant fast drumbeat that pounded in her ears and his, setting the tempo to the motion of their lips and their bodies. It seemed as if the world had stopped just for that instant.

He pressed harder, nails of darkness growing. They pressed a little into her spin, then weaved through her hair as if knitting it. This was a oment he had never shared with Yuna. His eyes opened, staring at her. They were still kissing, but seeing her game him new energy. He gulped, feeling his heart pound hard. When he had first kissed Yuna, he knew he loved her, but he had been reluctant. And why had he chosen to kiss her when she was about to commit suicide? Did he love her because of that kiss, not wanting her to end his life? The whole feel that this girl gave him doubt about Yuna...it...it strangely enough like her more, lust for more even.
Then the police came. Not many, afraid to lose more men. He almost ignored them for a second, exploring her body with his nails. He then stopped, looking breathlessly at her, then angrily at the police. "Let's go." He said racing for hte garage. There was a door at the end He opened it, emptying into the hall. He growled softly, wanting to return to business. But not here, in the open in the hallway. He then said, letting go of her hand, which felt like letting go of osmething prescious said "Where's your room? The police will search here." He said calmly.

Dementia sighed with pleasure as the shadow nails came alive across her back, twisting into her short hair. She protested when he broke away, her lips forming into a slight pout before she realized that their friends were back. Great. The fuzz really had to ruin everything.
She could feel Seaheart jerk her towards the school, for she had not traveled a far distance away, and they were practically flying on foot to the doors of the garage. Dementia stumbled slightly on her high heels, but would not let herself fall behind for fear of losing him and his strong grip.
Salvador could hear their thudding footsteps from within the storm drain and pulled himself up to peek out. He had stayed hidden during the few minutes that they were gone--was it only a few minutes? To both Dementia and the fearful Salvador it had seemed like an eternity had come and gone. From underneath the ledge he recognized Dementia's trademark stilettos and the heavy boots of Seaheart. He started to slide out of the drain as they passed, thinking that the coast was now finally clear, until he saw the police once more chasing after the couple. He slid back down the slippery concrete until he rested at the bottom. Eh, nope, nope, no safety there. Damn. This place smelled.
Seaheart finally jerked Dementia through the doorway that led into one of the many corridors that wound through the school. It was entirely deserted. She could hear the police running after them in their silence, but didn't care any more much about getting caught. All there was now was the absence of Seaheart's hand entwined in hers. Dementia groped the thin air for it when he finally let her go, but then let her hands fall limply to her side as he spoke. He was almost as forward as Cobalt.
"My room?" she repeated, a little startled. "I--I don't think we can. My roommate--" she cut off her sentence, took a breath, and calmed herself. She glanced back quickly at the garage, waiting for the police to burst through. She clutched onto his arm, one hand running down its length to slide into his hand. "Can we go to yours?"

He felt the touch of her cool skin and smiled a bit. "Uhh...no. There's nothing in there. I don't really sleep and I'm out alot and...no time to explain my personal life. We can use....Salvador's room. Show me where it is and I can make a key." Heh. They were now taking maximum advantage of that stupid boy. He gripped her hand tighter and nodded, allowing her to lead the way.
Jeez. He was still confused. OK...now was a good time to think. Obviously he was feeling connected to this girl, was only more turned on by the fact that she drew ihm away from Yuna, and now they were being chased by police......again. Still, it was pretty bad considering. Did he like her?! Answer that question Guado gods, and I'll never question why I was hcosen to help save this damned world, was all that he was thinking. He then lookeed at the funny side of this. This whole situation started with some underwear or panties, and he had a feeling it just might end with it.

Dementia didn't know Salvador's new dorm assignment, and froze in her tracks when Seaheart mentioned his room. That was where Cobalt resided. Cobalt and... Arkady.
"N-No, trust me. Salvador's room won't work. He experiments with his metal too much--the bed looks like a race-car smashed into the empire state building and was attacked by King Kong. Plus there's those damn spying machines of his..." she stammered. "We can take a chance in mine."
She led him down the shady corridors, walking at a brisk pace so not to be caught by the police. She felt safe with Seaheart's hand enveloping hers, and quickly reached with her free one down into her shirt to grab the pass key that she had tucked in her bra earlier today, for her skinny jeans' pockets were all fake for some reason. What idiot had thought up of that design?
They reached the unassuming door that led into her room, and she ran the pass key down the lock. It flashed green in recognition, and a small click could be heard as the deadbolt slid out to let them in. There were no lights spilling out from underneath the crack of the door--Dementia took that as a sign that there were no inhabitants at the moment. She wasn't really thinking about what would probably lie ahead for her beyond that door, in the near future. What did it matter, anyway? She had barely known Cobalt any more than this guy, but there was a certain connection between them, one that had earlier lacked with the only other person who ever had her. She could almost feel Seaheart's anticipation in the way her grasped her hand, and she yanked him into the darkness of her dorm room, not bothering to turn on the lights. Her solemn face was illuminated by the square of light that fell in through the open doorway, looking at Seaheart with thoughtful eyes. She took a breath steadying breath and fell into his arms, wrapping one of her legs around his. The door closed behind them, shutting off the only source of light.
"You want me? Come and get it," she whispered into his fast heartbeat.

He followed her along, having second thoughts. This was all too confusing. He just...wasn't sure. Did he want her, or had just become got caught up in the heat of this moment? What? What! He came closer to her, and took in her hair scent as she was opening the door. He didn't know hwo else resided in her room and he was glad they didn't have to go to Sal's room. He had a feeling something in there would be righ,t and what she told him confirmed it.
They were in the room, and he felt nervous. What was he to do....he looked into her eyes before all the lights left. Then he heard her sweet voice, body closer than ever. He looked at the door. He oculd leave right now, use his powers, maybe kill a few cops, drown in his memories, and try to forget all about this. Remember what happened but pretend it was Yuna he had done it with. It was that simple. Simply simple but....no. Ven would get word of this, Dementia would probaly hurt him, hell, Chaos would probaly do horrible things to him. Nope. No turning back now. Nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch.
He came closer to her lips, nails still intact. He snaked his arms around her hip and neck, scratching both softly, caressing her. He brought his lips upon hers. He moved his face around hers like an orbit, giving nips, little kisses, sucks at the neck. His nails dug into her ksin, drawing blood on her neck. He sucked it, like a vampire. Yeah. No turning back. Not that he would even if he had a choice now.

Dementia's heart fluttered in uneven palpitations in her chest as Seaheart explored her body with his hands and his lips. She could barely feel the painful sensations of the nails that ran up and down her skin, so great was the bodily pleasure that overrode it. She had become almost immune to pain, to the feeling of touch, for it became too hard to bear with her types of powers if she didn't just let it go... Seaheart's lips, his hands, his tongue brought it back as he lapped up the few drops of blood that he had freed from the confines of their vessels. The small wound healed itself under his lips. Dementia nuzzled his head as he circled her neck and marked it in red to show his possession of her. She leaned back, stretching out, exposing the delicate skin in such a vulnerable place for him to do as he liked. She was aware of every motion that he made, the feel of his body on hers, and of the utter lack of space between them.
She wanted so badly to love him, wanted for what they were doing to be the expression of something that she only once truly felt for someone. That person was long gone. But it didn't matter now. Now wasn't the time to be unsure. She had never thought of herself to be rash, never thought that she would ever succumb to this kind of emotion, of this kind of urge. It was more human than she considered herself to be. She didn't know what she thought when she had been in Cobalt's arms, when his hands were traveling up her chest, and she didn't protest. Her eyes were dead, his eyes were alive. His hands were hot with fire and doused with the sweat of anticipation, hers were cold and moved automatically when it was needed. Dementia now realized why she couldn't remember what was going through her head, because nothing was. Was it good then, that she was thinking, even if the thoughts were unsure? Was that a sign that something else was involved that made it different than the last time? Even if not, her body had made its choice, whether or not her mind had a say in it, and there was no turning back now.
She ran the leg she had twisted around his up and down, feeling the abrasion of her jeans on her skin against his pant leg. She was still leaning, her back arched, suspended in the air by Seaheart as he hungrily kissed the skin of her neck. She leaned over and caught his lips in hers, closing around his tongue. Her hands smoothly slid up his chest, finally pushing the long coat he wore off of his shoulders. She hung on to his neck, her cool fingers making little circles on the skin underneath his hair as her tongue entered his mouth in the first breach of the sanctity and privacy of the inside of one's body. The kiss deepened in intensity the more she pushed into his mouth. Her arms tightened around his neck, bringing herself in closer until she could feel the pressure of his body against hers.
Did he love her already? She wasn't sure of the answer. What the hell did it matter, anyway? Cobalt hadn't loved her. Maybe what they were doing right now was a start to something deeper. But was it? That was the question that her rational mind had posed to her. Was it something else, or was it just going to end up that you'll wake up in the morning and never see this guy again? It's not like it would change anything in the end. No matter what she did, she would never be able to escape the fate of death that awaited everyone. The only thing that was different was the scenery on the track she took to it. Another part of her mind argued that the scenery was the best part of the journey. She might as well enjoy this scenery while it lasted. She might even gain some company in her vestibule.
No. No, Dementia. Don't have expectations. Then you'll never be disappointed. Only surprised.

He felt her, exploring her, still thinking. No....push them away. He was on top of her it seemed, kissing her, exploring more and more. He had never been like this with Yuna. Back then...what had he been like with her? He loved her, she even made him feel like Twilk. A boy who had lived innocently, had fun, even though he was lonely. She had made a new Twilk. He had been nice around her, soft.....perhaps stupid. The mroe doubt he had, the mrore he wanted from her.
It was so strange.....to feel confused, pleased, doubtful ,turned on, reverting to primal instincts, but instead, he had control. He wouldn;t just let his body do as he pleased. He had to be in control, or Chaos would come. Chaos was something he did not want. After the memories, anything that Chaos did might kill him. No. He would make sure this was a physical pleasure as well as mental. He felt her tongue enter, enveloping his with hers like holding hands.
Then it ended. She tried to take his jacket off. No...no one did that. Behind it were too many stories to tell. Half of it was charcoal. He pushed her away, making sure he kept his jacket well on. It was...personal really. She must not be that speical after all.....if htis was gonna happen, he wanted to take his jacket off willingly, being able to....trust her in the slightest, letting her see who he was. He gave a grunt, looking sad, sorry it couldn't have been more. He turned his head, tongue held between teeth, going toward the door. Why? It was....hard to explain. There was just so much history on his chest. Scars of..battle, training, everything. For some reason, he wasn't ready to share it with her, to let her be the one who messed with his jacket and got away with it.

Dementia was startled when Seaheart suddenly stopped what he was doing, especially after he had seemed to be so eagerly complying with her motions. She hadn't expected anything from him. It didn't hurt when he stopped, just felt strangely... empty. She stumbled slightly when he let go of her, groping in the darkness for something to hold on to. She grasped the corner of the end table that she recognized was right next to her bed, and slowly sat down on the tightly tucked linens. She was smiling hopelessly through the darkness, giggling slightly to herself as she leaned back to rest against the wall. It was cold and hard, contrary to the feeling of Seaheart's body.
She shook her head slightly to herself and began to speak. Her voice was a whisper, but didn't hold the kind of seductive emotion that it had earlier. It was soft as if she was afraid that the noise would alert something horrible, but still contained a certain bitterness that she didn't hide.
"Well, you're sure different than most," she muttered with an empty chuckle. "It wasn't what you wanted? I thought I knew what was on all men's minds when they got that close. Guess not." She leaned her head back until it hit the wall, and her eyes were directed at the ceiling, away from him. "So what is it that makes you different? What is it that makes you go against such a primeval bodily instinct on my behalf?" she asked the tiled ceiling for an answer, but got none. Her voice, however, was entirely directed towards Seaheart. "Think about it for a second," she murmured. It was almost as if she was truly commanding it of herself. Why? She didn't know. She would say that he didn't love her, but that sure didn't stop Cobalt from getting what he wanted.
"I'm not going to stop you from leaving," she told him as he reached the door. "I don't want you to, I'll admit that weakness in me, but I'm strong enough to let you go despite that. Because there's something different about you that makes me care for what you think and feel, perhaps because you're so like me. Just answer me this before you go, if you so choose. What is it about me that you are so afraid of?"

He listened carefully, abosrbing her words. He knew she knew the answer to most of the questions. In battle, you learned nearly everyrthign about an opponent. He looked her straight in the eye "What I want....I don't know. My first love was YUna, and I wanted to be with her, but thigns didn't turn out so well. and now...I felt like beign close to you. That you tearing me away from Yuna made me all the more....wanting of you. Now...." He trailed off, not even realizing what he wanted, but he felt so empty without her.
When she asked what he was afraid of....he answered with eyes narrowed down to slits. "I'm not afraid of naything. It's impossible for me to fear. Only Twilk fears. And I know I'm not Twilk around you. Still...I feel better around you." He said sitting back on the bed, still in the darkness, looking down at the floor, hands closed together.
He looked at her, sensing weakness. He knew together they had made eachother feel....wanted. Not closed up anymore. They had let eachother become one, and become new people in those minutes of intimacy. They had left eachother with free control of the other's body. Well...she had. He hadn't exposed his full self, but enough for somethign wonderful. "I....I may not love you but....I don't know. I know...I feel like I can trust you a little bit, one of the first people I can do that with. But....I don't trust you enough to show you my scars. To show you my life as it was, and forever will be. I liked doing what were doing. To express ourselves...." He just...couldn't resist her in a way. He went over to her, pickign her up, kissing her again, wanting to keep it going. Hoepfuly she just knew not to take the jacket off,. She probaly knew he wasn;t ready for what had happened between her and Cobalt, but he had a feeling it was a closer relationship than with Cobalt.

"Yuna, huh? Yuna and Twilk. Your name in the past, I presume. Oh, boy, do I know all about that," she muttered with a laugh with a tone more like a sob. "I distance you from her. I distance you from your past. You want to leave that life behind, but at the same time you're afraid to let it go, whether you admit it or not. It's a contradictory notion. You're not the only one with such a plague." She didn't move as Seaheart came back to her. The squeaky bed sounded as he sat, and she could feel a pull towards him that she resisted while he kept speaking.
Then as he trailed off, she felt his arms reach out for her once more, embracing her, holding her in a more tender kiss. She didn't respond at first, letting her arms dangle lifelessly as his words took full root in her mind, until slowly she reached up with one arm around his back and he other on his neck, holding herself up to his lips. Her one hand traveled down his spine softly, not daring to try to feel through the clothing the thing he didn't want her to see.
"Our journeys through life are inconsequential. We never have to show each other the key to our weaknesses. If you ever do share with me your vulnerability, or I with you, that would be the meaning of true love. The trust that someone will not take your weaknesses and exploit them, but rather turn them into a strength. I had one person who helped me with that. Like your Yuna. But he's dead now." She removed the hand that had softly rubbed his back and placed it on his face, running her thumb across his cheekbone lightly. She returned her lips to his for another brief moment before pulling apart to speak once more.
"My last question. Why have you forgiven me?"

He listened to her, taking in every word. She was right. If he ever did share his weaknesses, which he hadn't figured out himself, or just didn't want to figure out, then it was true love. "Leaving the past behind is dangerous, but living in it, is like being dead. You shall not move from that point in time, like death. But leaving it behind makes you forgot who you were, and makes sure you don't become weak like that again. So now, I must learn to go without Yuna, though I shall still love her, for she is someone not easily forgotten.
He kissed down her neck, enjoying the taste of her flesh, knowing if it was torn, it came back. He stopped ash she spoke once more, then smiled. "My...dear, you never said sorry, so I have no need to forgive you." With that, it went back to waht it was. He fell down onto the bed with her, kissign her soft lips. He would not rest, until he knew her body as well as how death was inescapable. He kissed her, letting fangs grow in made form darkness, so they bit down on her lips, drawing blood.
