Moonlight = Clarity and Serenity ((Chesna))

[Katsumi]

Chesna looked up at him and gave him a look that said, 'Take my compliments and like them!' "Nashino, you've managed to learn in a few minutes what I've been trained in for over twelve years! That's not something you learn in movies. You have talent, so get used to it. Maybe I could teach you how to actually execute that grand jeté... er, the ballet jump you tried."

She couldn't help but smile again as he mentioned getting to know her. She couldn't have agreed more. Now, dancing with Nashino for the fun of it, with no romantic undertones, she was happier than when they'd been doing nothing but kiss. Now, she could enjoy being with Nashino. "And, I feel the same way, Nashino... you know, more connected to you. Especially now that I know you're such a good dancer... I bet you'd be a good bullfighter too, but I wouldn't suggest that you try it any time soon. I could be wrong."

[Krispey]

Nashino laughed at her comments. "Well, I've never considered dancing...Or bull fighting, but hey, maybe I'll be good at it." He continued to look down at her, her dazzling features, especially under the moonlight. This, with the setting and all, would be the right time to just go in for a rmantic kiss...But no, that's what we're trying not to do Nashino! Just stop looking at her!! With that thought, Nashino's crystaline gaze diverted to elsewhere, just not at Chesna. Everytime he looked at her, those thoughts popped into his head, thoughts of being Romantical, and kissing Chesna romantically...Perhaps it was just the setting?

[Katsumi]

Chesna noticed Nashino looking away, and she did so as well. She couldn't help but wonder what was going through Nashino's mind as he looked away. Was he thinking about her, and were they good or bad things? She sighed lightly. She couldn't help but think about how handsome he was in the moonlight. The full moon above them, the glowing blue light from the orb casting such a beautiful glow on the two of them. She wasn't fulling any one: there was great tension between them, but they were both trying to deny it. Just friends, she reminded herself. We're going to get to know each other. Looking back up at him, she smiled. "You're already good at dancing, and dancing is safe. Stay away from bulls!"

[Krispey]

Nashino half-listened to what she had said, as he was caught up with thoughts of Chesna herself. "Oh, yeah." He laughed, though it was quite obviousy that he had barely been listening. He stepped away from Chesna, sighing. He wondered that if they did have a relationship would he be the one to always fess up to his feelings. "Chesna, I can't do this..." He looed at her, eyes sincere. "I cant pretend to be just friends, when clearly there's more there. I cant keep thinking about you, and how beautiful you look, and how this would be the perfect setting to kiss you in...I cant, and it's really frustrating, because if we're going to be just friends, then what does that leave us to do?"

[Katsumi]

Chesna looked up at him, her eyes wide. How had he managed to say exactly what she was thinking about him? Well, that was a silly question: obviously, he was thinking the same thing as her. How can this work, with us as just friends? she wondered, trying to answer his question, but she couldn't think of an alternative. What else was there for her do?

"Nashino, there's something more here. We both know it, and we're both trying to deny it. Why don't... why don't we just stop saying 'no' to what's between us?" she finally blurted, unable to say anything else. "I know that we messed up before, but we can forget that. It's obviously not going to happen again. So maybe we should just stop pretending to just be friends... Maybe, we should be something more..." Her voice was calm, quiet. As far as she knew, they only had two options: finally give in to their feelings and be a couple, or never speak to each other again. Chesna much preferred her idea to the alternative.

[Krispey]

Nashino gazed at Chesna as she spoke, full agreeing to what she had said, nodding his head. "Yes, maybe we should stop denying it, and put the past behind us, and never look back to before..." He paused, the crickets chirping, leaves rustling. "So, what exactly does that mean?" Nashino, in a way, knew what that meant, but he just wanted to be sure, and to know that she felt the same way. If they were to become a couple, he was sure that it would be completely different this time around...Completely.

[Katsumi]

Taking a small step toward Nashino, Chesna looked up at him. Why is he so tall? she couldn't help but think, a smile curving her lips softly. "It means that we're together, Nashino... You and me. A couple." She took another step forward, bringing herself right in front of Nashino. Now that she wasn't trying to ignore what she was thinking, she saw just how handsome he was. A small breeze came through the courtyard, moving through the leaves and their hair. Chesna gazed up at him, now wanting more than anything for him to kiss her: not like before. This time, she wanted something behind it. She wanted it to mean something. She wanted it to show that they were now together.

[Krispey]

Nashino smiled as sh approached him in such a graceful way. The breeze that came through the courtyard sent chills running up his spine. but perhaps it wasn't the breeze, perhaps it was the thought of being with Chesna. FINALLY they could call themselves a couple, and not "friends" or "just friends". Well, they were still in the romantical scenery, so why not do what he was thinking about all along? With that said, Nashino placed his finger underneath Chesna's chin, her head already lifted, and pressed his lips against her own. A tingling feeling was at the pit of Nashino's stomach, something that wasn't there the first time.

[Katsumi]

As she felt Nashino's lips on hers, Chesna closed her eyes. She felt different, but she couldn't put her finger on what it was. Her legs nearly trembled, her heart raced, and she felt wonderful. Lingering in this connection, Chesna's fingers entwined with Nashino's, holding onto his hand. This was something now; they weren't pretending or lying. Inside, Chesna was practically cheering. This tango of emotions had come to an end with a favorable outcome. After all, love was favorable, wasn't it? From the sparks that flew during their kiss, Chesna couldn't help but think that Nashino and she were made for each other, no matter how cliche it was.

For a bit longer, nashino held on to the kiss, giving Chesna's hands an assuring squeeze? But what was he assuring? That they'd be together for a while? Yes, that was it. Then, reluctantly, Nashino broke the kiss, looking down at the sports watch on his wrist. "Chesna, it's 1:30 am. The campus checks two hours after curfew which is 11:30...And uhm...You don't have a dorm." Nashino's eyes diverted to a figure moving in the hallway, as he quickly pulled Chesna into the shadow of the tree. "Yeah, they're checking!" Nashino spoke in almost a whisper. He found himself laughing, laughing at how close that was. "We...I need to be getting back to my dorm soon."

[Katsumi]

Chesna looked up at him apologetically. "Sorry! I kind of can't help it. I haven't seen my roommate in a while, and she's the only one who knows where my dorm room is..." That brought back something that Chesna hadn't thought of yet. Galilee: she hadn't seen Galilee since... Chesna couldn't even remember when the last time she'd seen Galilee was. And what about Nashino and his girlfriend... that is, the one that wasn't Chesna. It seemed that a few more issues would need to be handled before their relationship could run smoothly. But, right now, they couldn't get in trouble. "Let's go before they find out you're not in your room though. I don't want you to get in trouble because of me!"

[Krispey]

Nashino too hadn't seen his girlfriend...Aridia. He'd only seen her on one occassion, which made him feel very sleazy. They didn't do anything except kiss, which wasn't much to build a relationship off of. Nashino grabbed Chesna's hand, and led her around the shadowed perimeter of the courtyard, entering the dormatory from behind. The hallways were dimly lit, for there were only a few hanging lights from the ceiling, the main light source being cut off.

His dorm, luckily, was on the bottom floor. Nashino quickly slid the key card under the scanner, entering just before an administrator rounded the corner. Of course, he pulled Chesna in, not wanting her to get in trouble. He laughed, as they'd just barely made it from the clutch of trouble. "That gave me a thrill what about you?" He asked, stil laughing abit. Finally, he settled down. "Okay, Chesna, you don't have a dorm, so if you want, you can stay here." He paused, "And no, we dont have to kiss this time," he added jokingly.

[Katsumi]

Chesna gave him a stern look, but her smile betrayed her. "I'm not a trouble maker like you, Nashino. I don't enjoy being bad," she said, though her voice said otherwise. Of course it gave her a thrill! Now, heading into Nashino's room, she realized that she just wasn't tired. She was exhilerated! She didn't want to go to sleep. She didn't even want to be inside; but she still didn't want Nashino to get in trouble. Of course, she couldn't help but wonder if there was a punishment for boys to have girls in their dorms at 1:30 in the morning.

Glancing around Nashino's room, she couldn't help but remember the last time she'd been there. Then, she had thought it would be just that: the last time she would be there. But now, she made herself forget their fight and the random make-out session they'd had in this very room. "So, we don't have to kiss, but do we have to go to sleep?" she asked, gazing at Nashino with innocent eyes. "I'm just not tired!"

[Krispey]

Nashino plopped down on his bed. Sheesh, she was energetic! He kicked off his shoes, before glancing back up at Chesna. "I don't know about you, but I've got a TEST tomorrow which I'm going to FAIL because I didnt even soak up any of the material!" He laughed, though he seriously needed rest for that test, "The least I could do for it is get some rest, and it'already later than I was planning for it to be." He allowed the rest of himself to collapse back onto the bed, his arms out, digits splayed. Then, he folded back the covers of his bed, and hopped underneath the covers. "I dunno about you, but I'm going ot get some shut-eye..I'll get my shower in the morning." He smiled, awaiting her reply.

[Katsumi]

Chesna sighed, taking the other bed. She laid her petite frame upon it, but didn't cover up or anything like that. For a moment, she stared at the ceiling, but soon turned and looked at Nashino. "Alright... I'll let you sleep... Good luck on your test tomorrow. You'll do well," she said with a confident tone. Chesna still wasn't tired though. She would allow Nashino to sleep, but her time would be spent with her thoughts and, most likely, staring at Nashino. But, she would try her hardest to sleep. She considered for a moment jumping on Nashino and tickling him until he became energetic, but she decided that a tickling attack would only enrage the boy. She would leave him be... for now.
