Nashino sat there, posted against the trunk of a tree. A leaf was slowly being picked apart between Nashino's fingers. Tonight was a full moon, which illuminated the vacant courtyard, making it seem all the more beautiful. Nashino's silver-white hair was pulled back into a low sleek and smooth pony-tail that stopped in at the middle of his back. In a way, he was relieved that him and Chesna had apologized to eachother, but then again, it happened so fast that Nashino wasn't sure that he was completley over it. Right now, it was way past curfew, but Nashino cared not. It wasn't like anyone hardley ever payed attention to the curfew rule, as it was hardley inforced.

With calm steps and light humming, Chesna strolled into the courtyard. She hadn't been able to find Galilee, and that meant that she hadn't been able to find her dorm. It really was a pain, not knowing where she was staying. Still, it was difficult; she didn't know anything about the school. She especially didn't know about curfew. Now, under the full moon, she casually walked through out the campus, constantly looking up to gaze at the sky. It was beautiful tonight. She'd always had a fondness for a full moon. She didn't think of much; finally, with things with Nashino settled, she didn't have to worry any more. Feeling stealthy and unable to see any one else in the courtyard, she smiled. Light on her feet, Chesna sang and danced with herself under the stars. It was rejuvenating to be that free; she was happy to be alone, and to enjoy what she hadn't done in a long time. She felt like it had been forever since she had danced.

A smooth and calm tone rang throughout Nashino's ear canals, causing him to look up. Hah, speak of the devil! He'd thought her up. There she was, Chesna, appparently believing that she was all alone. Nashino was sure that if there'd been a crowd of people, Chesna would not be up dancing, but blending in with them, not wanting to do anything that would make others think "What's her problem" Not that there was anything wrong with her singing and dancing, but others would go against anything that everone else went against, just to be considered "cool" or "normal". Nashino found a smile crossing his features as he gazed at Chesna, she was just so adorable! Yes, adorable. not smoltering...Can't forget where 'smoltering' got me last time. Although Nashino tried to put the memory to the back of his head, he couldn't help but think of it. "You know, it's past curfew, and everyone's supposed to be in dorms right now." Nashino said, a smirk upon his features.

Chesna turned to face Nashino instantly, recognizing his voice. She froze where she was, no longer singing and dancing. Her face spread with blushed, embarrassed to have been caught. To be a classically trained dancer was something she was proud of, but something that drew her a bit too much attention. Now that she had been caught in the act, she wasn't sure of what to do. Wasn't the whole point of dancing in the courtyard in the middle of the night to not get caught? But, of course, Chesna had limited luck, and it was Nashino who caught her, of course. "I didn't know there was a curfew," she answered honestly, smiling a bit. Would he asked about her dancing and singing? But, he was breaking the same rules as she was. "What about you? At least you know where your dorm is. I don't know anything about this place." Slowly, she walked toward him, an innocent look dazzling in her eyes.

Nashino bit his lower lip as she approached him, lost in thought. He stared down at the space infront of Chesna, though not directly at her, in a trance. He then, shook his head, taking a deep breath, "Oh, me? I just like being bad." He smirked, his crystaline eyes on Chesna. She was gorgeous anyway, but dazzling in the moonlight. Okay, she's pretty, Nashino, but that matters not...Normal convo, nothing else!. He felt stupid for having to remind himself to think of her as only pretty and that they were only friends. But even after what had happened, a part of him longed for them to be more. "So, when can you teach me that dance move?" He asked in a sarcastically joking tone.

Chesna's face brightened as Nashino mentioned her dancing. She tried to suppress her giggle when he said that he was just being bad. It was believable: Nashino, the delinquent. "I can teach you right now if you'd like. It's meant to be danced by a pair," she told him, folding her hands together in front of her. She couldn't tell if he was kidding or not, but she was very willing to show him if he wasn't. "But, you'd have to be willing to lead. You are, after all, the gentleman." Her smile widened, brazen eyes set on the handsome boy before her. She tried not to think too much. She couldn't help but let her mind wander for a few moments though; it was a full moon. Didn't full moons make people do crazy things, like learn dances? She had never thought far into it, and had never noticed the full moon changing her in any way, but would tonight be any different?

Nashino had been joking, but with the sencerity in her voice, he couldn't turn down a dance, and Chesna, from what he'd just seen was a great dancer. He smiled, "But I can't dance, and you're playing the teacher, remember?" He jogged forward, preforming a ballet leap, not that it was a good leap. He turned to Chesna, shrugging, laughing, "What? It's always on television, thought I'd try it." As he was from underneath the tree, the moonlit sky shown greatly off of his silver-white tresses, the sleek ponty-tail glistening.

Chesna couldn't help but giggle as she watched Nashino perform his imperfect "grand jeté," as she knew it. Nashino was no ballerina, that was for sure. "I've never seen television," Chesna admitted with a laugh, "but it's obviously not a good dance teacher." She had to admit though, it wasn't terrible. Maybe, under that rough exterior, Nashino had a bit of natural dancing talent. Chesna would just have to find out for herself. "Alright, come here and I'll show you what I was doing. Luckily for you, it wasn't ballet."
Taking Nashino's hand, she instantly began positioning him. Dances were meant to be passionate and intimate, so there was absolutely no way for her to teach him without contact. She didn't even try to avoid it. With a delicate touch, she positioned him the way he would need to be: left hand at her waist, right hand holding hers. Her right hand rested on his shoulder. It was a traditional pose, one that he may have recognized, but the dance she had been doing was less well known and a bit more difficult. Looking up at him, trying not to think about just how incredible he looked when the moonlight hid him, she smiled. "I'll teach you what you're doing, but this is a French dance that's meant to be similar to a Spanish bullfight. The man is the bull fighter, and the woman is his cape," she explained. "You're the leader once you've learned the steps. I think you can do it. Are you ready?"

Nashino nodded as she positioned him. Yes, this was a dance he would most likely be all too familiar with. His facial expression was that of a serious one. Dancing was fun to him, although he'd never had the proper training. "Sooo, are we going Machata or Salsa?" He laughed, "You choose." He waited patiently for her to teache him the steps to her type of dancing, and then, he would surely teach her something he had learned way back when: When he had taken a spanish class.

She listened as he asked what dance she would be teaching him. "The Paso Doble," she said simply, and the lesson began. "Alright, first of all: back upright, shoulders back, and head upright. You're going to remain that way the whole dance, while I am flowing and elegant." Chesna couldn't help but think of how much she loved dancing.
"Now, your left foot goes back while my right steps into it. We bring those back to normal, and my left will go back while your right goes in. Do you get it? Like this..." Gently, she pushed her right side forward, nudging Nashino's left side back along with the foot that was meant to go with it. Her upper body moved, but with her hand on his shoulder, she made sure that he kept his upper body in the same position. It was a simple first step. The two would return to a normal standing position, and then repeat the step with the roles reversed.

Nashino, finding this dance the least bit difficult, quickly caught on. His back was upright, no sloughing. His broad shoulders were back, and his head was too, upright." He watched as Chesna moved with grace, while he was stiff, in a good way. It was like the dance told a story. A story of a relationship. One where the man would stand tall, and be there for the woman to lean on him, as they took the steps of life together. Nashino laughed at this analysis, for it was so deep for a simple dance. well, maybe it was deeper than he thought, for obviously, Chesna loved it.

Chesna was glad to see Nashino take so quickly to the posture of a dancer. He was steady, constant, just as a dancer should be. And she continued to show him, step after step, the choreography of the Paso Doble. It was a simpler version than the one she had learned with her professional teacher and long-time students. She had to keep reminding herself, no matter how well Nashino did, he was not a professional dancer. Still, Chesna was always impressed with how he caught on so quickly. And as she showed him the last of the steps, she looked up at him with confident eyes.
"Do you think you can lead now?" she asked. She knew that he could do it, but she had to know if he thought he could. After all, she could only be as strong as her dance partner, and it wouldn't be a true Paso Doble if the woman was leading.

Nashinosmirked down at Chesna, "Do I think I can? I know I can," Nashino said in a, well, not cocky tone, in a Nashino tone. Swiftly, he took the lead, going through the steps that she had taught him, becoming more comfortable. He was able to maintain his posture for that dance, and still remain comfotable through the whole thing. Then, adding on a step that (I dont think) wasn't orignally part of the dance, but was commonly used, Nashino lifted Chesna's hand that was in his own, and proceeded to spin her. As she spun, Nashino thought about how gorgeous she looked under the moon.

Chesna went through the moves along with Nashino, playing her own part in the story that was told by their bodies. She was stunned that he had taken on so quickly; she had thought he was good, but he continued impressing her. And when he added the spin, Chesna took it in stride, allowing him to spin her until she finally wound her way with her back against his chest and his arm around her. "Nashino, I think you've found you calling in life! Have you ever considered becoming a dancer?" she asked, only half joking. She would have been proud to have him as her dance partner. "You really are very good. I've never seen any one take to a Paso Doble like that, and I'm surprised you could execute a spin like that so fluidly... That was wonderful."
Chesna laughed a bit, not thinking much of how she stood: against Nashino with him half-embracing her. She had been in this position countless times. This was something she shared with friends and fellow dancers, and to her, Nashino was now both.

Nashino smiled as she complimented him. He was actually quite modest, "Ahh, it's something I always see on the dance movies, it was nothing...You're the real dancer here." This time around, it was different/ He had a different outlook on toward Chesna. He didn't just see her as hot or anything like that, he actually got the chance to delve into her, and learn something about her. It actually felt better than the first time he'd met her. He decided to let her know, "You know, Chesna...I like the second time around with you and me better than the first time." He paused. "I feel more connected to you now that I know more about you."
