Laodice stepped out of the darkness of the fourth dimension and into the normal world and suddenly fell into a small body of water. He couldn't tell from the solid feeling of the water in the fourth dimension. How was he to know he was standing on the water of a fountain? He quickly stood up and examined the water stains on his white clothes. He pushed his wet hair from his face and stepped over the side onto the dry ground. He sighed. Great entrance, he thought. Walking forward, he realized that the "halls" he had just walked through were a hedge maze and that he was at a dead end. He turned to face the direction he'd come from. Here we go again. At least I can see this time, he thought. He walked around the maze for a minute, coming out next to the school. He sighed again. His body was chilled by his wet clothes in the cool air.
