Ven sat in the library, the perfection of the situation almost beyond inronic to him. There was an absolute torential dowpour outside, that had actually taken out the power within the section of the school he was in. To make up for the lack of light the librarians had lit candles around the room. All this ontop of the occasional thunder and lighting made everything seem planned out.
He had just finished reading yet another one of the various classic books that made up almost all of what he read. And everything, absolutely everything happened under these conditions: It was raining so immensely outside that almost nobody could leave, Everything was dark, almost spooky, and finally there had to be candle light coming from a few distant corners.
Normally in his books this would be were someone woman in a fancy dress would rush in screaming about how somebody died, and then expect someoene to solve it, only for it to be the least likely person. And all Ven could think about while he was lounging on the sofa was one burning thought:
"Wouldn't it be perfect if someone just died?" And he very well knew it would be. He had to admit though, this school didn't exactly make for the cast of characters for the little endeavor. He Thought of Shinegami bursting in, wearing one of those old school massive european ball room gowns that were so frequently mentioned in old novels and he almost burst out laughing.

Shinegami opened the door to the library, completely soaked to the point where it looked like she had been swimming in a pool minutes earlier. A few people turned their heads in her direction, shrugged, and went back to whatever they had been doing before she arrived. She casted a glance around the room and saw Ven, and made her way over to him. Despite the fact she was wet, she made no sound as she approached him, but wouldn't have been surprised if he knew she was coming anyway.
Quietly pulling up a chair and sitting down across from him, she proceeded to wring her short blue hair which had gathered more water than she thought possible. Shinegami didn't care that it fell onto the carpeted floor, it didn't even matter to her. When she was done with that, the girl started the wring out her gray sleeves, which had also soaked up alot of water. Seeing this, the librarian, a young man a little older than she, walked over, looking angry with her.
"This is a library, not a locker room, so go and do that elsewhere." he demanded, crossing his arms against his chest. In response, Shinegami continued to wring out her clothes and spoke. "Pisss off, motherfukker." she growled, and he blinked at her profanity, and repeated himself more firmly. "Take those words," she began, taking off her shoes, "and shove them up your asss while you have the chance." the small girl retorted, eyes narrowing.
The man gave her a protesting look, but had nothing to say in turn, and left back towards his desk. Shinegami rolled her eyes and continued drying herself off.

"Look at little Shinegami, getting more an more adult everyday." Ven said, not looking up from his book as he spoke, or when she sat next to him. Her entrance, while perfectly on cue was much more of what he would expect from Shinegami, he had proved himself correct; if one wanted to write a classic novel the student at this school wouldn't exactly prove to be the best character list, though they may make an interesting story none the less.
"I thought you didn't get angry?" He said flipping a page, still not looking at her. He wasn't sure how she would react, normally when she spoke to him her anger tended to evaporate, however he could never be to sure.

She didn't know if he was being sarcastic or not, so she just assumed he was and said nothing, wrining the last of her clothes and looking down at the soaked carpet with a look of satisfaction on her face. The librarian was thoroughly pissed off, though he had a perfect reason for being so, and Shinegami smirked when he gave her a frustrated look from his place at the desk, but chose to ignore it to get him more aggravated. And it worked, because he slammed his books into the cart, casting a glance over his shoulder at her, who gave him the finger and turned to Ven, blinking.
"I'm sorry, it's just because Night's been talking to me again and I'm a little upset it's raining..." she explained in a small voice, as though she were being accused of a crime and she was guilty, all the while she knew it. Her anger dissolved quickly when she spoke to him and she ran a hand through her wet hair, shaking off the drops with her hand and feeling a little happy she got a nearby girl wet.

"You know for someone who doesn't like being mean you sure take allot of pleasure out making people angry." Never once had his eyes left his book yet.
"I mean girl over there is probably in this vast hall of knowledge because she doesn't want to be wet. After all, what use would a blonde have for a library?" He continued, chuckling at his own joke. Normally he didn't make generalizing jokes, he usually preferred to use a brand of Satire specifically fitted to any one person, but in this case, eh, he thought it worked.
"You ever been to vegas?" he asked His eyes still locked into his book.

Shinegami started at him, wondering how he knew all these things without looking away from his book, though it didn't bug her for long as she decided it was because he was Ven, and Ven could do anything he wanted, even make her wonder about things he did, though she'd never ask why or how he was able to manage it. Nope, simply wouldn't do with her. "I don't think it's me, I think it's Night."
Shinegami nodded at his joke, not completely understanding it. This suggested she probably didn't get out much, or had never met a blonde that was a complete idiot, though it seemed rare. Everyone on Earth was a complete idiot, in her opinion, except for a few people like Lazarous, Dove, and of course Ven. He was probably the most superior being next to God, in her eyes, and definetly not stupid. But, all in all she didn't get the joke so she said nothing.
"No." Now this was proof she didn't get out much, if not at all. She had never been to Vegas, she didn't even know what the hell that was, if it was a person, a place, or maybe even a state she never knew about...

"It's a state." Ven said, reading her almost as well as the book.
"Number one gambling center of the world, also one hell of a place to catch a show of any kind." He said still only looking at his book, which he was quite intent upon reading.
"This magic show we're gonna do, I'm gonna include a hell of allot more than just transforming you. It has to scream power, something beyond ridiculuos, something................increduluos." He spoke, all the while his eyes remaining locked onto the pages before him.
"Google it. then I need you to make some stuff. Vegasish stuff. More like costumes. Nothing to fancy however I've always found that a little razzle dazzle helps to keep the average attention span interested. If they're interested their amazed. I need you to make me a suit much like a ring masters. And since most of Vegas does, as I said before involve razzle dazzle, just find something over the top for yourself."
