Rorrim nodded. "I don't know how to say what i want, but i'm gonna try. I was raised for a while by my mom and dad, but there's something about me that makes people forget. They forgot me. I wandered around for a while, a long while, and figured out that i can do it. Then someone saw me. They caught me and questioned me and locked me up, but then they forgot and i left. I heard about this place after more time and thought maybe someone here could understan me. I want to learn to say what i want... Can you help me?" Rorrim looked at his hands and waited for Tiffany to ask questions and dreaded the answers he'd have to give, but he'd resolved not to run away, so he sat.

Tiffany caught her breath slowly, taking her time while listening to Rorrim speak. If she tried to catch her breath too quickly, she would hurt her throat and most likely hyperventilate. She leaned back and wiped the sweat off of her forehead. She realized that she could have just made it evaporate, but some habits were hard to break. She gave Rorrim a look almost like she didnt believe that someone could just forget him, but she remembered back in the cafeteria, she had forgotten that he was standing behind her. She shook her head and concentrated on trying to find out how to help him. " So you dont know how to express yourself? You need the words..." She stood up and paced back and forth. " I can try to help..but it will be hard.." She sighed and slapped her hands on her pants legs. She turned back to him and was about to say something when she heard something behind her. She turned around to see a head of dark blue hair walking through the woods.
Belle hummed to herself, wondering where her wandering feet had led her this time. She looked up and stifled a gasp at the two people in front of her. "Oh, I'm sorry.." She looked between the two. The guy looked lost and alone, the girl looked confused. "I know you dont I?" She asked pointing to the girl with bright blue hair. "I met you at the ball!" She said with a smile. "Who are you?" She asked as she turning to the boy. "My name is Belle!" She exclaimed happily. "What are you two doing in the woods?" She had a suspicious look on her face.
Tiffany sighed. " Oh dont give me that look.." She shook her head. "Whatever you think it is, just forget it..Im trying to help him." A hand motioned to Rorrim. " He hasnt had the greatest of lives." She turned to him with an apologetic look." No offense.." She looked at Belle sadly. " He doesnt know how to express his thoughts.." She wasnt able to finish before Belle cut in. "Express thoughts huh?" She walked up to him grandly and sat down next to him. "I think I can help." She leaned in close to him, though not close enough to make him uncomfortable. "My power is a little different..I can express feeling through song. Do you like to sing? I can help you express what you want through song, and then we can help you figure out what you want to say. What do you say?"

"Umm...??" Rorrim looked questioningly at Tiffany. This new girl was a little more then he new how to handle, and was kind of surprised that she had come out of nowhere. Rorrim put all of the pleading he could into his gaze and sent it towards Tiffany, hoping that she'd understand.

Tiffany walked slowly to Belle and pulled on her arm. Belle gave her a questioning look but went with her when Tiffany pulled her away. "We'll be right back Rorrim." She promised him as she took Belle to a seperate side of the opening. " Look, you cant be so forward with him. He really isnt used to human contact, and he is really not used to people as cheerful as you! No offense, he is just scared and he needs help. Slow, gentle, calm help. Dont make him feel rushed." She explained the situation and Belle turned back to Rorrim. "I am sorry." She said giving him a slight bow. "My name is Belle..I would like to help..Would you like me to help? If not I can leave.." She said lightly, so not to make him think she disliked him in any way. She smiled softly at him and wished she could help. Tiffany walked close to Rorrim and sat down next to him. "She can help you know..She can help you express them enough to let me know what you want to express, then I can help you by showing you how to express what you feel and what you want people to know verbally. " She said in a soft, consoling tone.

Rorrim nodded slowly as they talked to show that he understood and finally aggreed to let the new girl, Belle, help him express himself. He was beginning to like this attitude that these girl's had, it was more fun than he'd had in years, and the first time in as long that he hasn't been forgotten as soon as they're backs were turned. Rorrim wondered if this was what it was like to have friends, which is, after all, what he'd been looking for. And on top of that, these girls didn't seem about to turn him into the authorities to have him locked up again. So Rorrim stood up and nodded to each girl in turn and replied. "OK."

Belle giggled and clapped her hands excitedly. "Okay..this is how this works. What I need you to do, is just hum along with me..Thats it! And put whatever you are feeling..think about it really really hard when you hum. That way I can pick up on it and send images to Tiffany." Belle's hands moved widly about as she explained it then realized what she was doing. She clasped her hands behind her back. Sorry. She mouthed to Tiffany, she had explained that Belle needed to calm down and go slowly and here she was making a fool out of herself. Tiffany just shook her head and laid a hand on her forehead. "This is gonna take a while. " She turned to Rorrim. "Get what she is saying though?" She asked, wanting to make sure he knew how the process would work before Belle began to sing. "Just hum, you dont have to sing like she is. Just put your feeling into it..She can sense things like that, but only through song..Its just a facet of her power. Right?" She turned to Belle to make sure she had it right. Belle nodded emphatically. "Exactly right!" She agreed happily. "Ready?" She asked Rorrim right before she began to sing. Her words gradually grew louder, but were silent enough that his humming could still be heard once he started. She waited for his cue, right now her words were just..words..she needed his feelings to back them up and send the images to Tiffany.

Rorrim started to hum low in his throat, he had a deep voice so it worked rather well. He began very softly, almost inaudibly. As he hummed, he thought about all of the things he wanted to say, his interest in the two girls in front of him, his depression that he was unable to express himself "properly" the way they could. He also thought about the hurt everytime he was forgotten and how much it had hurt to realize exactly what had happened with his own parents and how the only solace he ever got was from the animals he encountered. He also thought about the relief of not being locked up for his ability and his puzzlement that he had been when it seemed obvious that everyone here had a Gift. He thought as hard as he was able and hummed along with Belle waiting, if a little impatiently, for her to say she was done and ready.

Victoria impatiently waited while they sang, then all of a sudden had pictures in her head. Belle's singing portrayed the images in Rorrims mind. Him being constantly forgotten, him being left with the animal's to survive. His interest in the girls. She smiled. She turned to him as Belle's singing dwindled of to a slight hum. "Okay, lets start from the beginning. When your parents left you..forgot about you.." She choked on the words. " It was sadness..you were sad.. That is the feeling that you had when they left you. So if you ever feel that same feeling, something that reminds you of it. That is sadness. And when you became the animals..and hunted and lived as animals, that was happiness..That is how you were content. So if you feel the same way you did when you lived like that you were Happy..Okay?" She said slowly. "And meeting us..that is happy too? And curious.." She smiled tentatively. "And when you broke the ice cat that I gave you. You felt fear..that I was mad at you..then you ran..you had mixed emotions. You wanted more than one thing. You have depth and complexity of character. You wanted to be caught..but also wanted to be set free.." She lingered on the words. " I am sorry that it upset you.."

Rorrim thought about what Tiffany was saying. It seemed to make sense to her, and it was slowly sinking into his head too. That was the thing about Rorrim, he was always forgotten, but he never forgot. Then Rorrim stood up and smiled. "I like you." he said simply looking at both of the girls. "How can I learn to understand everything that is happening around me?"

Tiffany smiled warmly. "I like you too." Which was quickly followed by Belles piping voice, "Same here!" She sat down softly and glanced around. Although she had helped, Rorrim was Tiffany's friend and she needed to talk to him. Tiffany walked over to Rorrim, and guided him to take a walk with her. "You see..That is something that everyone has to figure out on their own. They have to take in a situation..contemplate it..think about it I mean. Then try to decide what exactly it means to them. Then deal with it in their own way. You just need to find out what sort of action suits you best to deal with situations, like being calm and quiet, or screaming, or something..not running away though..though you are good at that." She laughed lightly. "Im sure you'll get the hang of it."

Rorrim grinned stuidly at her. He knew he looked ridiculous, smiling like that, but he couldn't quite help it. He liked this watery girl. He hoped to get to know her better. Maybe he had finally found what he'd been searching for for all of these years.
