Caynce sighed, gripping his arm painfully. Though it already hurt, he just held onto it tighter, increasing the pain, except he didn't know it was him doing it. Racoon hissed and slapped the hand that was clinging onto his arm, raising his own hand to smack Caynce on the back of the head for doing so, only to be grabbed by Kenny, who fixed the boy with a fierce, green glare. No words were needed for Kenny to explain that he needed to calm down, and Caynce, in the middle of all this, whimpered ever so slightly, still unaware he was only making the pain worse by clutching onto it even tighter than before Racoon hit him. Kenny moved towards his friend, gently and carefully removing his hand from his own arm in order to make everything better, and Racoon shook his head, ears twitching in annoyance.
"Relax, Caynce." Kenny said softly, watching as the visibly tense boy shook. From coldness or from some irrational fear, Kenny didn't know, but he guessed it was the latter. Racoon nodded, agreeing with his green eyed friend instead of saying anything, since...well, he had nothing nice to say to be perfectly honest. He thought Caynce was being incredibly stupid holding onto his arm like that, but knew if he said anything Kenny would have his head, so decided to say nothing and seemingly decide his friend was right. As to how this came to be, with the black&white boy sitting on a chair in the infirmary, Kenny and Racoon sitting beside him, passing looks in each other's directions. Well, it was quite simple. Racoon was bored, and found Caynce so that he'd have something to do. But, being one of the craziest people you're bound to meet, he came up with a very...strange idea.
Brining Caynce to a place in the forest, they had met Kenny, who had been out on a walk. And so, Racoon proceeded with his idea, which was for him to leave Caynce in a random place in the forest, turn invisible, and then watch him try to get back to school. Kenny reluctantly agreed, and they watched him until he gave up and started crying because he didn't belive they were actually there. As for the arm, Racoon got upset and hit him for being a whimp, and then he and Kenny brought him to the Infirmary when Caynce wouldn't stop complaining about how much it hurt and how much he wanted to kill Racoon. And so, there they were, waiting for the nurse to come. Caynce rubbed his arm slightly, and scooted closer to Kenny so Racoon couldn't try to hit him again. Racoon merely rolled his eyes, crossing his legs and looking away. Kenny offered a smile, and examined Caynce's arm again.

Carmela sat in her own chair, bawling her eyes out as she held her knee. Maeve looked absolutely annoyed with her but sat there and continually handed the small girl tissues. She sighed, and looked around. A group of three boys seemed out of place here but whatever, she didn't really care. What really mattered was that the small blond 14-year old next to her just wouldn't stop crying. What was Maeve to do about it? Hug the girl? Ha, like that would happen. The only person that could get Maeve to hug Carmela was Ven for the reason that she wanted him.
" MAEEEEVEEEE!" cried Carmela as she wailed about how much her knee hurt. Maeve sighed and patted the smaller child on the head trying to sooth her. Clearly it didn't work for Carmela continued to cry, tears soaking her slightly red face. It's a wonder she hasn't passed out from lack of oxygen yet.[/i] Thought Maeve maliciously. But of course, if that happened...Ven would be a bit aggravated and it would slow down Maeve in achieving her goal. What goal? Having Ven as only she could. Upon first meeting the boy he had caught her attention and even gave her pleasure via pain. Yes, we all know that Maeve is a bit off in the head for liking pain and getting pleasure from it.
Maeve watched as another girl seemed to be ushered into the room, but didn't seem to care. Truth be told she didn't really care at all. She felt Carmela tug on the end of the short red skirt which covered the even shorter black shorts she wore. Maeve looked to see the small girl pouting in desperation. " What do you want me to do, Kiddo? Rummage the drawers for a band-aid?" Maeve got her answer of a very quick couple of nods. She sighed, standing in a huff. Ignoring everyone around her she left the twenty foot void around Carmela which canceled out her powers and phased through the cabinets and such, looking for a band-aid to please the small child
Carmela watched, a balled fist rubbing at her eyes like an infant would. She looked down at the scrap she had gotten via falling. When Maeve appeared from the string of cabinets she held a few cotton swaps, some first aid cream, a brown bottle of peroxide and a band-aid. All the objects and herself phased fully through the chair Caynce sat in and through Caynce himself, not doing any harm to him in anyway.
" Thank you, Maeve!" "Yeah whatever." Grumbled Maeve as she crouched before the small girl and opened the brown bottle. She was getting ready to clean the wounds of the small girl, still not really noticing or greeting any of the others in the infirmary.

Caynce shivered as Maeve past through him, and Kenny blinked while Racoon snorted, not even aware of what was happening. He just did that because he thought Caynce was shivering for no reason, but only because he hadn't seen Maeve pass through him. With that, the boy looked around, keeping his striped tail on his lap and examining everyone. As Carmela continued to complain, he gripped the edge of his seat tightly, trying to contain his annoyance because he didn't need Kenny on his ass later on. Seeing this, the green eyed boy reached over and touched Racoon's shoulder softly, wondering but hoping he could actually feel it. Instead of speaking, he looked at Kenny out of the corner of his eye, as if saying what was wrong.
Kenny's eyes narrowed, pulling away and looking back to Caynce. Racoon shook his head, knowing that his friend was telling him to keep his temper under control, something he just couldn't do right now. Caynce bit his lip, settling back in his chair and looking at the floor, suddenly feeling uncomfortable being in a room with so many people. The boy wasn't used to proximity, but when he came here he seemed fine with it, and though that maybe he was getting 'better' as his behavior, only to know feel uneasy. Seeing this, Kenny got up and moved his seat farther away, casting a glance over at his shoulder for Racoon to do the same or something else that would be helpful.
Eyes rolling annoyingly in their sockets, Racoon quickly turned invisible, so that Caynce would feel there was no one there, but this time said something. "You're such a demanding bitch, Kenny." he growled, feeling a little more satisfied by his words, deciding he had gotten a little anger off his chest. Kenny, in response, gave a quick comeback. "And you're an asshole, we all have our problems." he said, his voice on the edge of a hiss. Caynce ducked as though something were going to be thrown at him, staring at his shoes. "Sorry, Racoon." he murmured for the boy to hear. Racoon knew what he was talking about. It was obvious he loved and hated Caynce at the same time, and it was even more obvious Kenny tried to help both of them, so the black&white boy was apologizing to his love hate friend for being so much to handle sometimes.
Instead of saying something nice, because he didn't seem to care, Racoon shrugged his shoulders, though no one, not even Caynce were the people to actually see it happen.

As Maeve began to dress the wound, Carmela seemed to stop her wailing. She struggled with hiccups she had developed while crying so hard. Again a balled fist would casually rub at her eyes. Once the peroxide was dabbed away and the wound had been disinfected, she seemed much better and calmer. Her brown eyes, darker and a less bloodshot, watched Maeve work. It shocked Carmela, how Maeve's hands were soft and warm to the touch. And the fact the older teen was dilligently cleaning and swabbing the blood away and dabbing more peroxide on gave Carmela a whole new way of viewing the once tormenter. It was like someone else was tending to the wound and anyone that knew better would think Maeve was a tender girl. How wrong they were, and she would proudly admitt that if asked.
" Thank you." Whimpered Carmela. Her eyes began to dry and the red in her face began to fade back to it's normal peach-ish color. She sat patiently, watching Maeve work her magic and smiled up at Chesna. Her powers made Carmela curious even more than her appearence, however the girl looked about she knew there was someone with invisiblity as their power...but couldn't see them. They were somewhere around her, probably using said powers. Then there was the boy who seemed to be older than her but acted as if he were three. What was this? Color draing? What a cool power! I wonder if he could turn snow every color of the rainbow![/i] The small girl longed to ask these mental questions building in her head, but figured that wasn't very kind to snoop.
" There." Grumbled Maeve as she gingerly placed a band aid over top some white first aid cream. She stood, brushing her knees off and combed a hand through her hair. Seeing Carmela begin to fidget with the band-aid, she slapped the girls hand away and shook a finger in the girls face. " Don't play with it!" She warned in a threatening manor. Carmela nodded her head a bagillion times per second.
" Why am I stuck with you!" Spat Maeve as she sat with a huff beside Carmela. " You and I both know why! Do I reaaally have to say it?" " Shut up, you!" Maeve warned, pushing the girl backwards with a palm on Carmela's forhead. To some it might seem like sibling querrels but this was far more complicated.
