It had started out so perfectly. The sky was bright, filled with the light of the beautiful sun and Donovan had the great idea of going for a walk. And so, he did. And some how, the young man had found himself at the outskirts of town. Where he was supposed to be, he had no clue. One thing was for sure though, Donovan was confused beyond all belief and didn't know what the hell he should do. And the thought of being stuck here all day, and maybe even night, didn't settled well with him.
Damn it, I should have paid attention to the street signs! He cursed himself mentally and spun about looking left in right at the small little courtyard he appeared to be in. Old, delapated buildings seemed to suround him Are these factories? Condemned building? Crack Warehouses!!? Wild thoughts took hold of his imagaination as hi pictures drug dealers with guns coming out of nowhere and attacking him
"Just what I need, paranoia!" Sighed Donovan, sitting himself on a creaking old box. He looked left and right, unable to determine whether he should walk left, right, or what! " If I could fly, and hadn't already stressed my wings out, I would." The boy kicked himself mentally and grew more annoyed at the fact he had admitted defeat. " Yup, I'm lost!" Spat Donovan, pulling a face that clearly stated how annoyed he was.
It appeared that Donovan wasn't the only one out and about today. Moyrah had allowed Cerekus the day off and walked with great care. Not wanting much attention, she would avoid the larger crowds and stick to the streets she knew best. However, the day was growing boring as the young woman came to a halt by a vendor at the side of the road. They were selling hand-blown glass jewelry on small black chords.
" Oh, it's pretty." Moyrah said, a finger gently tapping one of the blue tear shaped charms. The man behind the counter smiled at her and said it was only about five dollars. How could she resist such a good price? It was a cute, and well made, charm necklace. Moyrah handed the man a crisp five dollar bill and he gracefully pulled the charm from it's hook. Icy eyes watched as the man carefully put it in a little box and handed it over to her. " Thank you!" She said taking the box with care, smiling at the man as she walked a few steps before putting the necklace on.
I should have bought another one. They're so pretty. Thought the girl, happy as she looked down to the small glass bead. With all said and done, Moyrah slipped the now empty box into the brown bag at her hip and walked further down the street. More Vendors selling more hand-crafted goods. Moyrah would have been broke in mere moments if she had stopped and bought all the beautiful things she had come across.
