New Friends? {Kasumi -Tiffany}

[Kasumi]

"I'm fine, dont' worry. I just woke up, thats all." she said with a yawn. She took his hand and stood up next to him.

(I dont have a dorm yet btw lol)

"It is getting late..." she said looking again at the sky then back to Dea. She started laughing at the fact that he had marks on his back. "That's a great look for you ya know." she said laughing and pointing at his back. The wind calmed down and there was almost no breeze at all now. Eve's hair was now covering a part of her face. Her laughing now calming down. She couldn't stop thinking of how handsome he was for some reason. Her hand hit her head twice to stop the thinking. Then she just stood there and smiled at him.

Daedalus smiled. "Yes..the red zebra look..it is all the rage. " He said rolling his eyes and laughing. His head tilted to the side and looked at her in confusion when she hit her head twice. "Umm are you sure youre okay?" He asked quietly. "I dont mind walking you.." He let his eyes wander over her face, smiling at her. "I would indeed actually enjoy the pleasure of your company..How about this..you can walk a poor wounded man to his dorm?" He nodded. "That way it would be an act of pity on your part instead of an act of chivalry. Eh?" He asked laughing. He put on a sad face. "Come on.. help me out..Im hurt."

Eve laughed at his comments and smiled brightly. "Yeah, then lets go." she said excitedly walking toward him. "Lead the way. And by the way, I'm fine, I'm just thinking" she said looking down and noticing that her shoes were gone. "Hold on, I forgot my shoes." Laughing she got her shoes and put them on trying to keep her balence. Then she went over to Dea again. She was gazing into his eyes now.

Daedalus smiled gently at her. "See..I knew you had a good heart..cant leave a wounded man behind. Can leave shoes behind..but thats not the point. "He said laughing. He stood there waiting for her to get her shoes back on. He held out an arm for her and waited for her to place her arm in his. He turned and began his dubious way out of the maze. When they found their way out, Daedalus turned in the general direction of the dorm rooms. He walked slowly, watching the night try valiantly to take over the day. "Do you always hit yourself when you think?" He asked her casually. "Or just when you are trying to get a thought out of your head?"

Eve looked at Dea and laughed. "I was just trying to get a thought out of my head, but I think you just brought it back." she said giving a fake sad face and laughed again. "This is fun. A girl walking a guy back to his dorm. Very nice." she said making fun. She looked around at the scenery as they walked through dim lighting.

Eve sighed and hit her head again to make fun of herself. "So did you meet any other people here?" she said sweetly.

Daedalus laughed. "Who me? I didnt mean to if I did bring that thought back..I dont even know what the thought is..And yeah..I am not one for tradition. I will let a girl walk me home.." He chuckled. " I have met a few..havent talked to many of them though." He said truthfully. "I am more of a stick to myself kinda person., until I meet someone that I like to talk to that is. " He said with a smile in her direction. They neared the building and Daedalus knew his was on the far end. "You want anything to drink or eat before you go back to your dorm?" He asked as he opened the door that had a long hallway that held the dorms.

"Well, all I want right now is water. Otherwise i'll br okay." she said smiling back at him. "So does that mean you like to talk to me?" she said sqinting her eyes. She started playing with the cloths on her wrists then looked at the shiny green circle on her hand. she looked back up at him and waited for an answer giving him a small smile.

Daedalus nodded. "Water..I think I have that..I dont know though..I will have to check." He said grinning. "Yes I do like talking to you. Or else I wouldnt have let you walk me home!" He laughed and ushered her through the door to the hall. "Why do you wear so much jewelry?" He asked, touching the bracelet briefly. He looked up at her with an expectant look on his face. He reached into a pocket in his pants and brought out a key. He unlocked the door and let her in.

The room was mostly done in red, which was Daedalus's favorite color. He had chosen this room for the red carpet. With anyone else, the carpet would have looked tacky, but Daedalus made it work. The room was rather large and even consisted of a small kitchen area, that Daedalus used religously. He had gone to the cafeteria once...never again. He had it well stocked with his favorite foods and even had the countertops changed to a rosetta marble. He opened the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of water. "Here we are.." He said handing it to her. "Im going to make me a snack..are you sure you dont want anything?" He asked turning back to the fridge. He pulled out a few things. Eggs, bacon, a few slices of cheese and things to make buscuits. He looked around the rest of the room momentarily, just to make sure everything was in place. He didnt share his room with anyone, so his cursory glance only showed up what he saw every day. Big four posted bed with a five pillows covered with blood-red silk pillowcases that matched the bedspread, a big black wardrobe and a black tv stand with all of his books and cds piled next to his tv. His daggers laid across a glass table, needing to be polished. Three swords hung on the wall, each one from a different era or country. He shrugged and turned back to her. "Drink up!" He said with a smile as he turned on the oven and started to make food.

Eve giggled and answered Dea's first question with an "I don't know." She took the water from Dea and started chugging it. Then she sat on his bed. "Just making myself at home." she said smiling with her teeth. "I guess I was thirsty. Nice place you got here." She was now bouncing up and down on the bed lightly. "Man, that nap made me hyper. I have a lot of energy." she said still bouncing around. "Actually what do you have to eat?"

Daedalus shoved the biscuits into the oven. He watched her bounce up and down on the bed, shaking his head and laughing. "I never have that much energy.." He muttered, throwing some butter in a pan to melt. "Butter is always better to use when cooking eggs..More flavor, less grease.." He said, turning to open the pack of bacon. "My mom taught me how to cook. Said there was nothing hotter than a man that knew how to use a kitchen... Didnt know what she meant by that then..but I understand it now." He said with a grin. " I am making bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. They are my favorite." He turned back to flip the eggs. He took out another pan, one that was flat and had only slightly raised edges. He threw the bacon on it and opened the wrapper on the cheese. " You want one?"

Eve turned her face to look at Dea, and smiled at him. "Yeah, I'll take one of those." She said then giggled because she was also meaning two things. "Maybe there is nothing hotter than a guy at the stove." she said then giggled again. Then she pointed at him, " You should put on an apron, that would be even hotter."
Eve laughed at him. "I'm just kidding around though."

[Tiffany]

Daedalus looked over at the apron. "Huh..me wear an apron...instead of no shirt? And that would be hotter?" A confused look on his face, he walked over to the apron. "You know..I am glad you were kidding. "Because my mom uses that whenever she comes to visit.." He said with a grin. "I never use it, though sometimes when I am deepfrying something I will wear a shirt..The oil pops, and getting hit with it is no picnic.." He went back to the oven, checking on the biscuits and taking the eggs out of the pan. He set them to the side and placed the cheese on it to melt while he flipped the bacon and turned off the oven. He went and got an oven mit and took out the biscuits. "Hmmm..these smell great.. I hope you like buttermilk biscuits." He told her as he took out two small plates. He cut open one of the biscuits and placed the egg and cheese on it. He grabbed a few sliced of the bacon and topped off the biscuit with it. "Voila! Bon Appetite." He said giving her the plate. He went back and made him one and turned everything off. "I'll wash those later.." He said grimacing at the dishes. He sat down on the bed and began to eat his food. "How do you like it? You have to admit I am a great cook." He said with a laugh. "Yeah..I make killer premade biscuits huh?"

Eve looked at Dae happily, and she took a bite out of the food he had given her. "This is really good Dae!" She was stuffing her face now and she kept boucing up and down lightly on the soft bed. She was almost finished when she looked up and saw Daedalus sitting next to her. She gave him another smile without showing her teeth. "Yeah, you are a really good cooker." She said softly, then looked back to her food and ate the rest. Eve sighed as she finished and lay with her back touching the bed spread. Then she closed her eyes and relaxed. "That filled me up." she said in her sweet voice again.

Daedalus finished his food and took his and her plate to the kitchen with his mini-pile of dishes. He sat them down with a little clatter and walked back over to the bed. He sat down softly and looked down at the woman laying on his bed. "Just not fair..A beautiful woman lying on my bed.." He tsked. "Let me guess. You expect me to keep my hands off of you right?" He said with a sad look on his face, as his eyes took in the sight of her. Her shirt had lifted up from her lying back, revealing a flat toned stomach. He frowned at the sudden urge to run his finger over the dip right above her bellybutton. He looked back up at her contented face. " I wont then. " He said, physically restraining himself by clasping his wrists and trying to focus his eyes elsewhere.

Eve opened her eyes and looked up to see Daedalus sitting there next to her. She blinked a couple of times, her face relaxed and almost serious. "Well, you know that I haven't said anything about you keeping your hands off of me. If I really wanted you to keep yourself away from me, then why am I here right now?" She asked now smiling at him. She was admiring his build once more. She ran her fingers through her silky hair with her right arm and just looked at him. She put her right arm behind her head as she waited for a reply.
