Name: Ethan R. Swyft/Arlaxishar
Nicknames: --
Aliases: --
Age: 18/6548
Marital Status: Single - Arlaxishar doesn't really let Ethan 'go out' with anyone XD
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Weight: 254lbs
Height: 6'2"
Eyes: Crimson
Hair: Golden blonde
Ethnicity: Canadian/Extraplanar
Clothing: All his clothing has to be custom made. He does like collecting and wearing unusual shirts and jewellery, though^^
Powers: Psionics - Thanks to Arlaxishar, Ethan is proficient in Telepathy, Telekinesis, Psychometry and minor divinations. He's also very strong physically and, once a day, is able to breathe fire - it's a dragon thing.
Weakness: Ethan's powers are cut in half at night and if he's ever fully immersed in water. Showers are a necessary evil, in Arlaxishar's opinion.
Arlaxishar is also capable of taking over Ethan's newly modified body occasionally; especially if Ethan is feeling ill, fatigued or unstable.
Power-Related Issues: Due to the fact that all of Ethan's power stems from Arlaxishar, if the Sun Dragon is feeling persnickety or is peeved with Ethan for any reason, he'll simply refuse to grant his host any of his power.
Personality: Ethan R. Swyft gives a whole new meaning to split personality. Ethan himself is kind and generous, if a little eccentric, and absolutely loves to let himself go and party it up - anytime anywhere. Life is all one big game to him. Although, he does have a hard time trusting people, feeling that his parents loaded him off at Cassis merely to be rid of him; he never wants to feel that hurt and betrayed ever again. He also collects katana and wakizashi as a hobby.
Arlaxishar, however, is quite the miser, and is unwilling to perform even the smallest favour for an individual unless he knows for certes that he'll be getting something in return. Reserved, yet flippant to the point of being arrogant, Arlaxishar speaks his mind and doesn't care who's feelings will be hurt in the process; his most infamous saying is, "Well, you asked."
There is no notable physical difference in Ethan's body when Arlaxishar takes over, except his voice takes on a slightly lower pitch. However, it quickly becomes apparent to those who know him well once they witness how he is behaving.
History: Most people do not realize that there are multiple worlds running parallel to ours. And even fewer people know that every so often, one of these worlds misaligns and intersects with ours. Strange things tend to happen when this occurs, as the formerly-innocuous Ethan R. Swyft discovered.
As did Arlaxishar, a powerful Sun Dragon worshipped as a living deity on the Plane of Fire.
Fate, it seems, had a special plane for these two, and their destinies became inextricably entwined.
At the very moment our world and the Plane of Fire intersected, Ethan had been walking to the grocery store on an errand for his mother, and Arlaxishar had been enjoying a nap on a nice toasty rock overhanging a lake of lava.
Both happened to be in the exact same spot at the exact same time and a universally physical impossibility occured: Two objects of similar mass and density were occupying the same place at the same time on a quantam level. The universe is a constantly shifting, ever-correcting entity, and so it rectified the fallibility by simply combining the two on the same quantam level so that they were now one being.
In the span of one millionth of a second, Ethan became half Sun Dragon and Arlaxishar became half human - much to the dragon's dismay.
Now, although there is only one body, both Ethan and Arlaxishar are conscious within it. Arlaxishar's consciousness was ripped from the Plane of Fire and stranded within the Material Plane (our world) for an indefinite period of time.
Naturally, Ethan's parents were flabberghasted and horrified when their mutated son came home. They still loved him, but a grave realization that he would never again be able to fully integrate in society weighed heavily on their shoulders.
And so, as a final act of love, they sent Ethan to Gifted Boarding school at Cassis - oblivious to who else was accompanying their son.
