Clouds blew overhead of a red headed girl. Her eye's scanned the training feild, making sure that noone was around to get in the way of her practice. Her first day at the school means friends and class and all the more, training for her powers. Sure she was nineteen years old, but even with that she was still fighting to become stronger at her powers and try to better them. She had recently found out that she was able to go at high speeds with the heated air around her, manipulating it and using it to push her around. She smiled slighty as she glaced around yet again.
"Well, Lets see, noone around. No tree's around and free range of powers. Hopefully, I won't burn anything down!" A small giggle escaped her lips as she cracked her knuckles and allowed her hands to come together infront of her. Opening her hands slightly, a gust of wind started to develope in her hands, collecting the heated air around her and instantly a flame was now put in the swirling vortex. A smile appeared on the girls lips as she made her hands move out wider and the swirling flame tornado grew until it was the height of the girl. "Excellent... keep it together!" She exclaimed to herself, watching the site infront of her eye's.

Dummies lined the opposite end of the field. Kamon ignored the girl as he prepared to train on his speed, well hidden and energized by the boiler room. Hmmm...she could be helpful. Maybe I can try going faster than the human eye can perceive...My legs will murder me if it's too hard...Who cares. Let's do it. Kamon took a breath, and dissapeared from his hiding spot. An odd whooshing sound was heard at the same time as branches and twigs snapped, and a dummy's head fell off with a crack. He waited in a bush and studied the girl's response, and tried to determine what effect he had on her, if any. A flame tornado would make too much noise for merely audial stimuli to distract an onlooker.

The flame tornado stayed in synce with her hands as slow movements kept the tornado from moving on. She was pleased by the glow on her face, watching the creation in front ofher eye's. Last time I tried this, I lost control over the tornado as a small one... if this was to loose it. RUN! She mentally told herself, and kept a constant eye on her creation. Something that was going on in the distance hadn't broke her concentration until her perifreal(sp?) vision caught hold of the dummies head fell off and instantly her concentration had broken and the flaming tornado that stood her height now took off in the direction of the school. "OH no.. oh no!" Her eye's popped open to the size of golf balls watching the scene. "NO!" One last word hung in the air as she ran toward the swirling flames and her hands went up as she got close to it. "Go down... go down.. go OUT!" She said to herself and instantly the flaming tornado started to melt in size and then quickly disappeared, letting the heated air around her go in all directions. A huge sigh left her mouth as she looked around. The dummies head couldn't have possibly fell off by itsself. Maybe someone was around? "Hello?" She called out hoping that she was the only one out there. She didn't want anyone to see her mistake.

Holy crap! That fire is out of control! Kamon had dealt with fires before, and if needed, he thought he'd deal with it. But the girl had it under control, and soon noticed the dummy. She called out to see if anyone was there.
Hm. She didn't see. But now she suspects I'm here. Testing speed again. Kamon jumped out from the bush, and cracked a dummy's torso in half, flew over to the wall of Cassis, putting a dent in the wall, pushign off it, zooming across the field to crack another dummy's head off, and then hiding in the bushes again. His legs were seriously angry at him. Kamon waited patiently and studied the girl's reaction.

MArr-ee looked around for a moment more and then again placed her hands infront of her body in teh same manner she did the first time whenshe created the tornado of swirling fire. Just as the hot air started to surround her again, she was startled by the sound of something cracking. HEr eye's catching the glimpse of the dummy, it fell over, split in two. Someone had to be there. If she was going crazy, she might end up taking a vacation in her room and many hours of sleep!
She followed the sound of the cracking and then suddenly there was a dent in the wall, then back at the dummies again with yet another decapitated head. "WEll, I guess there is someone here!" SHe stated and smiled. "HAving funn... I can do that to!" She said to herself aloud, and created the heat wave around her hands again. Adding a bit of fire into the swirling vortex, and moving her hand in a motion, the tornado look was different. It looked like a squashed pancake and with one more second, she let it go like a frisbee. She controled it's movements, making sure not to set anything on fire. "Come out, come out where ever you are!" She Laughed slightly in her concentration, letting the fire frisbee move around near the dummies place. "Where are you?"

Kamon came out of the bushes, his legs too tired to do any more fast moving. "Okay, okay. Sorry, I was just testing something out. Ah..." He sat down, his legs aching. He shot a stream of electricity to a power line, putting the electricity back into the grid. He sent electricity out of his hands to an area right in front of him, and molded that into a sort of flat donut frisbee. "Having fun, are we?" Kamon laughed. He gripped it and got up again. He smiled. Then, he whipped the frisbee towards the one of fire. It zoomed through it, cutting it in half and disturbing it, warping it, and causing it to dissapate. Kamon shot a beam of electricity to his frisbee that attached to it and brought it back to him. He gripped it tightly. "I'd say we are."

"WEll, It usually is better.. but anyways. What gives you the right to scare me like that. I mean, If my flaming tornado got out of control, it would have been curtains for you!" She told him and watched him play with his electrical frisbee, she shook her head to his childish antics. "WEll, I wasn't planning on having fun. I was trying to perfect my abilites. I'm great at everything else, unless I try something new!" She told him and did the same thing only made a miniature flaming tornado. THe wind kept it going as it spun like a top on her palm. "It's easy for the little ones, but I'm having difficulty controling the larger version of it!" She paused a moment and looked at him. "What about you. Just come here to see me mess up and make a fool out of my self? or you here to play?"

"Neither," he said. "I'm here for the same purpose as you." He absorbed his frisbee into his hands. "I was testing whether I could move at speeds unmeasurable by the human eye. Evidently, I could. But absorbing electricity from a powerline, I obtained a large amount of bodily energy, which I used to run that fast. The price is that my legs hurt."
Kamon stretched. "You actually were doing very well until the end. What I would do is imagine being part of the fire, swirling around and such, while keeping an eye on it. It's what I do for some non-hands on lightning-control."

Bleh, I need to get back in shape...
A large shadow passed over the two students, followed by a low, rumbling growl.
Haven't flown much since I've left Goldoa, and now look at me!
Stiffening his wings in order to glide, Amir's serpentine neck swivelled around so the Laguz could get a look at himself. Seeing the slight bulges along the seams where his plated scales ended and began, Amir frowned. The cramping in his flight muscles didn't improve his mood, either. Winging over, Amir decided to make a landing in that field he'd passed a minute before.
The Laguz landed clumsily, dropping to all fours and panting heavily with fatigue. A pair of scents reached his muzzle and his head snapped up; Shit. I probably should've checked to see if there were humans present... Amir cursed his own lack of foresight. Well, it was too late now... He just hoped he'd be able to get away before his energy ran out and he reverted to his normal, humanoid form. Then his cover would REALLY be blown...
((Sorry if it sounds kinda choppy... I'm still a little burnt out from yesterday XD))

Cassie slid across the ground, her serpentile form so lithe and fast even without feet. She was racing with Inu, who even in his smaller, more mobile form, was having difficulty keeping up. She loved this! She was about as big around as a tree trunk in this form and she was quite formidable, she knew. She would have grinned, but her lipless mouth wouldnt perform the proper function. She lacked the muscles to curve her mouth upward. So instead she playfully bared her large fangs and hissed to Inu. He conversed with her through her mind, so she heard a similar hiss that spoke volumes slither across her thoughts. "Show off." He said quickly, and in a burst of speed, bolted ahead of her. "Oh, no you dont!" She said in a similar fashion to him. She lowered her head and whipped her body furious to catch up with him. Her breathing got labored and she needed to slow down, but she refused to give up first. She brought her head low to the ground, scraping her chin on the loose gravel, dodging the many holes dotting the field. She payed no attention to anything but the sight of the neon green snake pulling ahead of her. She paused, when a smoky, musty smell infiltrated her concentration. She saw that Inu was far ahead now, but she didnt care. A large dragon almost landed right on top of her tail! She whipped it back, infuriated. "Mind watching where you are landing!?" She asked right as he missed the tip of her tail. All he could hear, she would bet, was a loud hissing.

Amir grunted and whirled around - imagine his surprise when he discovered the hiss had originated from a snake of ungodly proportions! Despite his fatigue, the Laguz reacted instantly; he leaped back and spread his wings, the timeless instinct to make himself look bigger kicking in.
He then responded with a loud hiss of his own, smoke curling from his nostrils and claws bared before him. Surely, not even a serpent of this magnitude would stick around after such a display! It didn't occur to Amir even once that this snake could be one of the resident 'Gifteds'...

Cassie took the reaction as an invitation. She reared her head back and bared her enormous fangs. "Fool!" She hissed, striking at the dragon. She wound herself up, showing how tall she could make herself. Her body looked big from the ground, but placed in the air, she made a great oak look miniscule. She was almost as tall as the dragon himself, but not quite as wide. She disregarded the smoke, knowing that as soon as she got wrapped around him, she would cut off his air supply. No more smoke. No fire..No air. That is all she thought about, the process of how to protect herself. She waved in the air, not for the fact that she couldnt hold up her massive weight, but to make herself a hard target. She waited for him to move. He was breathing heavy, and for all his show of bravery, was already worn out. Cassie took this in consideration as she thought of her method of attack. She knew she was almost as tired after her race with Inu. She paused, deathly still. Inu..Where was Inu? She began to panic, not knowing if he would get hurt in this fight. She was even more determined to win..and quickly. She would not chance losing Inu. She lowered only enough to approach the dragon, needing to be nearer. She changed back to herself only long enough to speak so the dragon could hear, and possibly comprehend. "Make your move." She stated quickly and simply, turning back into the large snake and prepared herself for his first attack.

MArr-ee Noticed that a large shadow appeared over head which brought her attention from the electrical dude and covered her eye's looking upward. "What do we have here?" SHe asked herself noticing the shape of it being a dragon. "A dragon... at CAssis? Gifted!" She said to herself and smile. A nice welcome would be nice! If only to get him to come down to meet, but as she thought that she noticed him landing. A good ways from him, she noticed him spread out his wings of a display to something on the ground. With good spirits, she created the warm air around her and lifted her up, and floated carefully over. If anything happened, the updraft of heat would take her to safety. SHe marveled at the sight of the dragon and touched down not noticing the snake feet away from her. "So... Awsome!"

What?! The snake was one of those accursed human 'Gifteds'! And why was she attacking him? What had he done wrong? Typical human... The reason was probably no more than he had landed on a patch of grass she foolishly considered hers. "Expect no mercy from me," Amir replied coldly, his voice harsh and gravelly in his dragon form.
"So... Awsome!"
Oh shit. Some human girl had chosen the opportune moment to come forward and admire him. Not. With a rush of adrenaline temporarily keeping his fatigue at bay, Amir darted in front of the stupid girl and roared loud enough to shake the school grounds, his timbre echoing off the building. He then dug his talons into the grass and let loose a small jet of flame out his nostrils. "This is my final warning: Back off!" he growled. "I have done you no wrong, snake-girl, and you DO NOT want a Goldoan dragon as your foe!" He ended with a hiss and bared his fangs. Amir had no desire to fight. Especially with that human girl so close.

Cassie turned back into her human form. "Done no wrong? Done no wrong?!" Her voice so high pitched she actually squealed. "Goldoan? Then you do not know OUR customs here. It is only polite to WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING! What would I have done if you had crushed my tail? Huh?! I was only passing through!" She screamed, stomping her foot. Her face glowed in anger, the heart shaped mark under eye seemed to brighten. It was then that she heard Inu. "He is quite formidable you know?" He said quietly and slowly. "Shut up!" She screamed at him. She turned her head to see the bright green snake. "He will learn manners! I will see to it myself!" She yelled. "Maybe it was an accident?" He said in the same manner as before. "No accident would have absolved him if he had actually STEPPED ON ME!" Inu gazed up at her. "You let your heart over rule your head. Cassie glared at him for a moment, refusing to accept that he was right. "You will learn to watch your step!" She yelled turning back into her serpent form. The thought that he had tried to protect the human only barely flitted through her mind as she lauched herself at him in her snake form, determined to hit her mark. Her fangs bared, she whipped her body around to wrap around the dragon's body after she had bitten him.
