Clothing: Normally, Alishia is dressed in a white top, her favorite being a long-sleeved peasant shirt, and black skirt. Most of her skirts are knee-length. Her shoes are simple white sandals that lace up her legs. Alishia's jewelry consists of a white gold cross, dangle earrings with black opal jewels, and a simple white gold band on her left ring finger.

Powers: Can manipulate/amplify light and has empathy

Weakness: Alishia's empathy is very limited, to the point she can only pick up emotions of people within 10 feet of her. In order to manipulate light, she also must have some small amount "visible." Being locked in a pitch black room with no windows at midnight = no manipulation..

Power related issues: Manipulating a large amount of light will make Alishia pass out for a couple hours after she stops concentrating. Consistant use of her light manipulation without rest can make her go into a coma. Channeling extreme emotions give Alishia a headache.

Personality: Alishia's personality is somewhat hard to pick up when first meeting her. She's not overtly sexual with other females, nor does she tend to flirt with people she doesn't know. In fact, her orientation doesn't really pop out in her personality. To a casual observer, she gives off a chilly feel, someone who rarely lets anyone close. That doesn't happen to be the case though. Once someone starts talking to her, they notice that she's a warm person, willing to share ideas and listen to someone speak. Alishia is intolerate of people who are rude to those she knows and is willing to protect those who want and she thinks want her friendship and protection. Someone who gets on her bad side sees a very different side of Alishia, one she hides from most people. Once on her black list, she's a vindictive birch.. ^_^;;;

History: Alishia grew up in a empthic family, blessed with a gift that was not obvious to the town they lived in. Both her parents had strong gifts, so it was a surprise when she showed such pathetic lack of it. It took a new family member to understand why her gift was underdeveloped. When she was 10, a family her mother was close to died suddenly, all the members except one gone in a matter of hours. No one was able to figure out if it was a curse that did them in, an enemy's gift, or just a rare illness. Seeing how their daughter, Nikkole, was now alone, Alishia's mother took her in, giving her the family's last name. Alishia watched Nikkole grieve silently and within a year broke through the shell of protection Nikkole had created around herself. As the two grew closer, they discovered new gifts that both of them had. Nikkole learned to control the shadows around her and create shields preventing damage, while Alishia started to manipulate light and get her empathy slightly more under control. The two practiced in secret for years, often hearing of the gifted city Cassis. At 16, the now lovers agreed to meet in that city after a few years of exploring the world. After finding out about Cassis' school, Alishia decided to head there and take classes while waiting for Nikkole.
