Power Related Issues: Everytime she stops time, she keeps aging normally, so seems like she is older than her true age. This keeps her from using her powers as often as she likes..even though she still does very often anyway.
Personality: Tanya is a sweet girl who loves to have fun. She is a trickster, and loves to make pranks using her powers.
History: Tanya sat at home quietly with her grandmother for most of the days she wasnt at school. Their favorite activity together was to sit in front of the fireplace as her grandmother would knit and Tanya would read. She loved those moments and one day wished with all her might that they would always last. Right as she thought that, the fire stopped crackling and her grandmother's knitting needles didnt click methodically like Tanya was used to. She looked up and nothing was moving. Her grandmother wasnt even breathing. An ash that had flown up from the now deathly-still fire was hanging in mid air. The grandfather clocks pendulum had stopped swinging, and the second hand stopped moving completely. She stood up slowly, moving toward her grandmother. She waved her hand in front of her face and snapped her fingers in front of her grandmothers eyes. There was no response. Right as she began to get anxious and scared, time resumed as normal. Her grandmother shouted, startled by her granddaughters sudden appearance beside her.
Almost a week after that had happened, Tanya had completely disregarded the event. During a similar night as always, Tanya heard someone knocking on the door. "Dont worry Grammy, I got it.." She said getting up slowly. She walked to the door, working out the kinks in her back from sitting so long. Her book was still in her hand, with one of her fingers marking the page as she opened the door. Something hit her feircely and she was dragged away.
Tanya woke up in a dark room. Her hands were tied with riot-cuffs as she sat in a corner. There was only a dim light coming from under the door. She scooted closer to it right as the door opened. The sudden light made her wince and her arms were brought up to protect her sensitive eyes. She immediately scooted away. The person in the door hurried to her. "Hey..hey..calm down!" The man said in a hurried whisper. "I am getting you out of here!" He said bringing a knife out from a pocket in his coat. Tanya immediately shied away, fearing the worst. She closed her eyes as he grabbed her wrists, but all he did was cut away the cuffs. She opened them, trying to focus on the man. "Why..why are you helping me? Why am I here? What did I do to deserve this?" She asked curious and angry. The man silenced her. "All will be revealed in due time I am sure. A quick review to satisfy your curiousity..for you have a right to know. You are what they call a gifted. You can stop time. This was brought to their attention when you used it almost a week ago. They wanted to use you, but I will not allow it!" He said feircely. "I have someone waiting for you outside, and they are going to take you to Cassis. There you will be protected...We will meet again." He whispered as he shoved her out the door. She picked her way past the dispatched guards that had protected her cell, albeit poorly. Like the man said, there was a car outside. It took her to Cassis, where she was surprisingly already enrolled.
