Zachary had lived his whole life hiding his psychic powers so that he wouldn’t be hated like other gifted. He came to believe that Reza had only seduced him, but she had been very much in love. That was when Reza began Chesna’s training. Her whole life, Chesna was trained thoroughly in “the art of being a woman.” She excelled in song and dance, and she traveled with her mother to many nations, she and her mother pretending to be average humans. In each of these new places, she received new training in the arts that she loved. By the time she was fourteen, Chesna was a master of song and dance who surpassed all others. Chesna began to have problems though: she could no longer hide her powers. She began to lose control of her seductive abilities. People began to notice that something was wrong, so Chesna fled to Cassis, where she would be accepted as normal.
