Powers: Paper Master. Can control anything made of or related to paper.
Weakness: Fire (obviously) and must carry some sort of paper on him at all times.
Power related issues: Slight headaches when exerting his power for too long, the longer he uses it, the worse the headache.
Personality: Even is very quiet. He never goes anywhere without a book, and his one main weakness is bookstores. He usually spends all of his allowance, and some that he doesn't have, in bookstores. He also doesn't play well with others since he tends to ignore them in preference for his books.
History: Even is Vanyel's younger brother. Although Vanyel was everyone's pet because of his talent with music, Even was quite the opposite. He didn't get along well with other children growing up and he always skipped chores and lessons. Even taught himself to read as soon as he could walk and never really needed a mentor. Everytime his parents hired one, the poor mentor would quiz Even and be astounded by the results. Even was a varitable genius when it came to the written language, and could learn anything by reading it once. Thus, books taught him to read, and books taught him to fight. Books taught him to cook and books taught him calculus. Everything Even learned was through reading. The only thing Even didn't learn was self-control when it came to buying books. After he'd nearly put his poor parents bank account in the negatives, his parents had threatened to burn all his books. Even had picked up a piece of paper and warned that anyone who got near his books would be cut into ribbons. Since he was only eleven, his father had laughed and took a step nearer. Then it happened. The piece of paper Even was holding transformed into a sword, and although it was still only paper, it was razor sharp. Even slashed at his father and missed his skin by a fraction, but slicing cleanly through his father's leather tunic. After that Even and his books were left alone and he learned of all of the things he could do with his paper. On his sixteenth birthday, Even's parents told him about a school where he could go and have access to an unlimited library. Even immediately went to his room and started packing his things. Seven pairs of clothes, and 8 truck loads of books later, Even found himself in Cassis.
