Lost!(OPEN)

Mikhail walked into the large mall, his eyes flowing across each shop and person nearby but never really resting on any of them in particular. It was so odd being around so many eccentric and oddly shaped people, some were big and hairy, some were small and scaly and some were just plain slimy. It felt like he was in some sick Dr. Seuss meets Edgar Allen Poe. After realizing he hadn't moved for over three minutes Mikhail hurried over to one of the various rusted benches in the area, nearly bumping into a 11 foot tall lizard thing.
It was the German's first day in the odd city and already he missed the normalcy of Berlin. Sweet Berlin, a place were everyone had two eyes, one nose, two ears, two legs, two arms and a mug of bear and no one had slime nor scale. Even the smog of his hometown seemed more inviting than these monstrosities, however friendly they may be.
Sighing Mikhail realized that despite the oddities of Cassis this is were he is and he had to make the best of it and never again look back on his former life. The boy looked around trying desperately to find something he could do to pass the time, he had already gotten himself lost and missed school he might as well get used to the town on his first and only day off.

Aki came into the mall alone, deciding to spend his day off from school exploring the city. He looked around the mall, his eyes only gazing over the odd creatures inside. He'd been here nearly 2 years, he'd seen pretty much everything there was to see here. Plus he probably fit into the freaky-looking group of Cassis's people, considering the cat ears poking out through his black hair. Other than that though, he looked just like your normal 16 year old.

At the moment, none of the shops seemed to catch his interest. None of the people he'd seen so far seemed to either, they all seemed wraped up in talking to each other and ignoring others. Typical, of course, ignore the ones here alone. He soon spotted someone looking around his agem, possibly a little older or younger, who appeared alone and a little lost. He shrugged lightly before walking over to Mikhail. "Hello" he said as he joined Mikhail on the rusty looking bench.

Mikhail glanced over at the cat eared boy next to him, Great now even the freaks realize that I'm no better than a little lost pup! the scornful thought was not in the least shown in his appearance. The German smiled gently then held out his hand toward the cat boy "Hallo, how are you?" he asked, his slight accent betraying his German origin.

Aki smiled back. He didn't realize that he was seen as a freak in this new boy's eyes, but of course most around here just got used to all the odd appearances anyways, so he figured pretty much everyone who didn't ignore you or something like that was okay with it. He shook the other boy's hand and smiled again. "I'm pretty good, and how are you?" he replied as he let go of Mikhail's hand and let his hand fall to his side again.

Mikhail looked at the ceiling, letting go of Aki's hand and jamming it into his jean pocket "Well in truth I'm...well...lost, really really lost". This freak didn't seem as weird as the others but still it was odd sitting next to some one with big hairy ears, he tried not to stare at them but he found that his eyes could not stay away from the oddities, they were so freakish and yet they were inviting and made him almost wanna hand Aki a bowl of milk and to pet them.

Aki nodded slightly. "I remember that feeling... you're new here then, aren't you?" he asked before looking around the mall again. "Its pretty easier to figure out where everything is though, need some help find anything?" He looked back to Mikhail and smiled again before noticing him staring at the ears. He blushed lightly before bringing both hands up to cover them. "I'm a freak for looking like a cat, right?"

Pushing the door open the mall dully, Valentine slipped inside the clutches of fashion and fast food. Peering out from under his black hair, green eyes darting around, Valentine shyly walked forward. His holographic ears twitched slightly, right now Valentine was really wishing that the ears were gone, that the illusion would just disappear but he knew that would never happen.

Turning his head to the side, Valentine looked across the mall and jerked his head up a bit as he saw another guy with cat ears, except his were real. Blushing a slight red, Valentine lowerd back down his head, and contined his walk around the mall, getting close to Aki and Mikhail with every step he took. Groups bumped past Valentine, and he shyly moved out of their way.

Mikhail laughed awkwardly when Aki mentioned his staring "Yeah, ya may be a freak but when your in a city of 'em I hardly think it counts" he bit his lip slightly Guess I better not draw anymore attention to his...oddities. After what felt like a long a unnerving silents the sickly boy tried to change the subject back to his being lost "Well anyways I am new here, I just got here this morning." he sighed remembering the day "I was gonna try to head to the school but instead I ended up here." he looked away slightly embarrassed "Pretty dumb eh?" he said noticing another cat eared boy nearby.

Kyle pushed open the doors to the mall dramatically, nearly knocking a couple of innocent shoppers off their feet, causing them to give him dirty looks as Kyle apologized and walked away. Quickly shifting his form from an average, green-haired teenager to an old man, and back, he spotted a guy with cat ears standing not to far away. Wait... Kyle shook his head as his eyesight began to blur. Looking back at the cat-eared guy, Kyle groaned slightly. An illusionist. Of course. No wonder his eyesight was going crazy.

Turning his head, Kyle quickly walked past the boy. He was actually pretty cute. If only he wasn't an illusionist.

"Not dumb really, its easy to get lost in a new place.." Aki replied, blushing lightly as he moved his hands back to his lap. "I just came here from the school..." he smiled lightly then glanced around the mall again and his eyes fell on another boy nearby with ears like his. Odd... he thought but smiled to him. He was about to say something but another normal looking boy walked right between him and the other. His eyes followed the boy, watching him with a curious look. What was he trying to run from? Aki shook his head when he realized he'd been staring then turned his attention down to the floor while waiting if Mikhail would reply or not.

Valentine looked up breifly at a guy who seemed to just strut into the mall. He blushed slightly as he saw the guy glance at Valentine. /Whose he?....\ Shuffleing along, Valentine doged his way through the thickening croweds, "Oh sorry. Excuse me...oops." he was stumbleing all over the place, his illusioned ears getting blurred a few times as people swung bags over his head. "Watch it!" One snapped, shoving past Valentine.
"Sa-sorry" Studdered Valentine, as he stumbled forward from the shove.

"I still feel perty damn dumb that I couldn't even find the cities only school." he smiled finaly realizing he didn't even know this kid's name yet "Oh by the way I forgot to ask yer name, mines Mikhail" suddenly his body was racked with violent caughing. Damn! Why did this happen again?! As his caughing died down Mikhail glanced over to Aki "Sorry 'bout that."

Kyle glanced back at the illusionist, who seemed to be getting pushed around by everyone. Smirking, Kyle turned and walked towards him, ignoring his sudden vision blurriness. Reaching the boy, Kyle shouted at someone shoving past himself, "Hey! Watch where you're walking!"
Shaking his head, Kyle easily slipped an arm over the illusionist's shoulder. "You've got to watch out for people here. They're nutcases! Even worse than me." Kyle laughed, and glanced at the guy. "So, what's your name?"

Valentine was stepping up from the stumble and he felt a arm wrap around his shoulder, hearing the guys voice, Valentine quickly turned red and looked up at Kyle. "Thanks." He said shyly, "My..names Valentine." Valentine studdered, still looking up at the guy but then dropped his gaze down to the floor. "You dont seem that insane." He murmered to the side, his face still a light red.

"Aki" he replied at being asked his name, then Mikhail broke out in coughing. "Are you okay?" he asked then soon the coughing died down. "Don't be sorry, not like you could help it.." he said. He soon found his eyes scanning the mall again, and landing on the two boys he'd seen earlier. The one with the ears seemed lost and maybe confused... and were his ears blurring out when touched? That was just...more than a little weird. He sighed lightly while watching them. Why don't I have a cute boy putting his arms around me?
