[Tiffany]

Tiffany sat next to the window letting the sunlight be her light when reading the book. She sighed and pulled her feet under her. It was a habit she always had. She pulled the book closer to her and smiled as she read it. She loved horror stories. She grinned when the man chased the woman that he claimed was his mother incarnate and tried over and over to kill her. She was fascinated by what kind of mind it took to come up with stuff like that. She looked up and glanced around the library. She saw no one so went back to reading.

[Chibi Ryuzaki]

~Ryuzaki saw Tiffany. He wanted to say "hi" but, he had a better idea. He snuck around for a minute. When he was close enough he let out a small gust of wind causing her pages to turn.~ "Hey there Tiffany, what are you reading? ~covered his arms~ My it sure is windy in here." He then gave her a guilty cheesy grin, and rubbed his nose.~

Tiffany frowned when she lost her place. "Well...I was reading Whispers." She leaned her head back to see him giving her a cheesy grin. "You wouldnt have had anything to do with the fact that I just lost my place now would you?" She raised an eyebrow slowly and watched him rub his nose. "Of course not.." She muttered as she closed the book and sat it on the table. "What are you doing here Ryuzaki?" She asked as she made herself more comfortable. "You hang around the library too?" She crossed her arms. "Yeah...windy...." She said sarcastically.

~Ryuzaki knew that he had been found out. He came up behind her put his hands on her sholders and gave them a soft grip almost like a massage. He then put his headright next to her ear and whispered.~ "Librarys are fun when you are with your friends." ~ He then used her sholders to push him self up, but most of the pushing was done by the air so she wouldn't get hurt. He then flipped over her landing in the chair in front of her.~ "Soooooo, what are you reading?" ~He gave her his classic smile.~

Tiffany just gave him a grin. "Any where can become fun if your with friends. Even class.."She smiled and leaned forward when he flipped over her. "I already told you what I was reading." She pointed to the book. "Its right there." She leaned back and studied Ryuzaki. "So what brings you to Cassis any way? Made any good friends yet?" She asked him chewing on her fingernails as she stared out the window. She turned back. "Gotten into any fights lately?" She asked with a grin. "And if you did..which..knowing you..you have...with who exactly?" She leaned forward in anticipation, she loved a good story, written or spoken.

"I ment the book." ~He then took his time to think about her question.~ "For the last few years I have wandered around, then about three months ago, I met a girl, a gifted like us." ~HE took a breath,~ "When we first met, she tryed to kill me. She used duplicates. We faught for hours. ~He had a nalstalgic look now,~ They say the best way to get to know someone is by fighting them." ~Another breath.~ "As for friends here, you are the closet thing I have to a friend, aside from Arrisa." ~He then put his forhead to her's and asked.~ "What about you?" ~With ice cold breath.~

Tiffany frowned. "Arrisa?...Name doesnt ring a bell.." She leaned back. "So you like her do you?" She said as he leaned his forehead to hers. "Well I have only gotten to know you and Phantom..Laodice.."She corrected herself quickly. He had wanted her to call him Laodice. She smiled slowly. "He is extremely intellegent..and sweet." She closed her eyes and shivered against the cold. She leaned back. "So what happened with that Arrisa girl anyway?"

~He grinned a grin of all grins~ "I guess you can say I like her, after that fight we spent a week together." ~ He grabbed his left sleeve and pulled it up to hi neck revealing a scar in the middle of his sholder.~ "Then one morning I woke up and she was standing over me with a sword. She said here is a gift and stabbed me with it and left." ~He put the sleeve back.~ "It was a real gift to, that sword wond break under my abilities. ~He then looked into her eyes.~ So You like this Laodice do you?"

Tiffany gaped at him. "You like her after that?" She shook her head. "You are a very weird person.." She inspected the scar. "Man, she really got you didnt she?" She giggled. "I think I would like to meet this girl.." She looked back up at him. "Can I see the sword she stabbed you with?" She asked hopefully. She herself was partially fond of swords and daggers, though she never really got the chance to use them. As she waited for his answer, she answered his question."Yeah..I like him...what can I say...Intellegence is the key to my heart.." She sighed remembering the conversation they had at the fountain. "Any way..May I?"

"Of course I do, If you knew her, that was the nicest place she could have stabbed me, and she waited until I woke up." ~ He streached a little.~ "The sword? You want to see it? Sure I have no problem withit at all. It is in my room though, you can either wait here or, come with me to get it." ~ He stood up and held his hand out.~ "You never know you might have fun." ~His trade mark grin.~

Tiffany grinned at him. "Playful arent you?" She shook her head. "I think I'll wait here..And her niceties could use some work.." She said as she picked up her book. She looked up at him, "Well, I am quite glad I do not know her..Sorry to say..I am glad you have found a friend..but I dont know..So you are saying that it was nice of her to not kill you? To stab you while you were awake was a good thing??" She leaned back with her book in her lap. "Whatever you say man.."

[Chibi Ryuzaki]

"Hmm, you're an odd one yourself." ~He jumped out the open window. Landed safely and took of torwards his room, and up the side of the wall, and into his window. CRASH. ~ "Gotta remember to move the dresser next time. Hmm, where did it put you? ~Looks around a little, then trips over the cylinder case with the sword in it.~ There you are!" ~He then left the same way he came in, in both places.~ "Miss me?" ~He then opened the case, and pulled out a sword with a 4 foot blade and a damasquese design on the blade.~ "Carefull it is sharp."

Tiffany sat her book back down and reached for the sword. "Of course its sharp..what use would you have for a dull sword?..." She asked him sarcastically as she admired the sword. She stood up slowly as she inspected the blade. "Beautiful..." She whispered. She flipped it slowly, letting the sun glint off of it. "I wonder where she got it.." She swung the sword beside her, careful to keep it away from Ryuzaki and the furniture. "Lets go outside.." She said distractedly as she walked to the door, keeping her eyes on the sword. She was mesmerized by it. She walked outside, not bothering to hold the door open for Ryuzaki. He would probably jump out of the window anyway. She stood in an open section of the yard and stood still. She breathed deeply as she remebered the classes she took that she was so fond of. She began the practiced routine reveling at the feel and weight and balance of the sword. Inside her mind the masters voice rung loud and clear as the day she had stood in his class. The sword is an extention of you. It is not only a defensive weapon but a offensive weapon..Do not be afraid to attack, do not hesitate to attack, but do not attack when the opportunity does not call for it. When it is time to defend, to save yourself..That is when you refrain from attacking..always concentrate on your enemy, look at him not as an enemy, but as an illusion..Destroy the illusion..destroy the enemy. Tiffany stopped and sighed. She then began to do a freelance style that was all her own. She had won fights before, her style was neat and effective. She stopped suddenly and handed him his sword back. "Thank you.." She whispered as she walked away. It had brought back old memories. Ones that although she cherished them...They were sad memories.

~He sat there and watched as Tiffany handled his sword with grace and percisian.~ "Not just a sword lover but a swordsman.(problyshould be swordswoman)." ~He took the sword from her and returned it to it's case, and then slung it up behind his back.~ "So where did you learn to handle yourself like that?" ~She was already a ways away.~ "Hey! wait up!~ "He chased after her.~ "What's your hurry Tiffany?"

Tiffany shook her head and wiped the tears that were trying to form in her eyes. "Its a long story Ryuzaki..One that I do not try to recall. " She said sarcastically as she waited for him to catch up. "It is part of the reason why I am here at all.." She sighed and her shoulders sagged at the memory that forced its way to the front of her mind. The sword...in her room...one that she had not touched since unpacking it. It called to her, like a child calling to a parent. She had to resist taking it out just to hold it...She missed the master that taught her everything she knew about swords. He wanted to teach her how to make them too..but he never got the chance. She lifted her head up to the sky and watched the clouds as she walked. She took in a deep breath to calm herself. "Calm down.." She whispered to herself as she slid her eyes back to Ryuzaki. "Where did you learn how to use a sword? And do you know where that Arrisa girl got that one?" She asked pointing to the cylinder across his back.
