Michella walked down the hallway of the school, her memories still on Terren's sister, who had told her alot of things that were straining her brain on whether or not to trust him anymore. She said that he killed by accident, but he still remained calm around her. How is that?
"I just don't understand why he didn't tell me about her, or what happened." She said to herself as she finally reached the door she was wanting. Her clothes were still damp, and the cold building seemed to notice that as she still let out a shiver once in a while. 'I know this room had a view of the lake... at least I'll stil be able to see it. My favorite place... well, I don't know about that now... Not really,' She thought as she passed the bookcases and racks. Finally making it toward the window and curling up on a chair letting her body rely on any heat, and putting her gaze out the window.

Nora walked into the library with Terren just in front of her. She stopped and looked around at all of the books everywhere with a smile. It had been years since she read any book. She looked over to the science fiction books, her favorite genre. Although the books may not have been that exciting anymore now that her life was a giant science fiction story, but she still have fond memories of the stories they told. She looked around and saw Michella by a window. Should they leave? No, she believed Michella was worried enough not to interfere too much.
Terren walked in and noticed Michella right away. He looked back at Nora and saw her admiring the books. He watched as her eyes fell on Michella as well. "Come on," he said, "I think you'd really like her if you got to know her." He took her by the hand and pulled her over to the window. He was shocked to find that Michella was still in the same clothes she'd been wearing by the lake. "Hey," he said, "I thought you were going to dry off."

Michella's arms were wrapped around her body when she noticed a familar voice. How is it that when she wanted to be alone, they had appeared. If it was just Terren, then it would give him a chance to explain, but Nora? She had her doughts about her, but beleived her about the incident so long ago. With a sniffle, she returned the comment.
"I..umm, didn't feel like going to my room. I wanted a window with a view..." SHe said looking back out the window, still feeling the coldness on her body from the damp clothes. Why did nora have to be there at that moment. She felt so insecure.

Like I thought. He does like her. Ray thought making a small smile on her face. She was content with the fact that he liked her, but what about her liking him? Ray watched from the sidelines as Terren went to Michella. As she watched she let out a giggle and looked away from Terren and went to looking at the room. It seemed pretty nice. Some of the books were very old though. Which wasn't good for her allergies. Still thinking about the dusty books, Ray walked over to Nora. "So, what now."

Nora turned to Ray. "Well, the library looks nice. Maybe we should look around for good books. Do you like science fiction?" She looked over at Terren. "Are you coming?" she asked.
"In a minute," Terren said, "I want to talk to Michella for a minute. You guys go ahead." He looked back at Michella. She didn't look very happy. He supposed it was no coincidence she had gone to a window with a lake view.
Nora didn't want to leave the two alone, but she didn't have much of a choice. She looked at Michella when Terren couldn't see her and made a face as if to ask her not to mention what they'd talked about earlier. "Ok. Come on Ray," she said, walking toward the science fiction books.

"I like reading science fiction. I also like some romance books."
Ray walked by Nora's side as they headed for the books. Some were dusty, but hopefully no one would pick a dirty one. Hopefully I'll get to know Nora better. Maybe be friends, maybe one of the first ones here. Ray took one last look at Terren before they passed by a shelf, and suddenly sneezed. "Oh great, there they are. The annoying allergies."

"You alright?" Nora asked. She looked in front of her at the rack of books. She immediately recognized one of her and Terren's favorite books. It was The Collapsium, by Wil McCarthy. She picked it up and smiled. "Have you ever read this one?" she asked, though sure she would say no. Not many had. "It's got science fiction and romance. I think you'd like it."

Michella caught a glimpse of her face before she turned around and went with Ray to look at some books. She knew that Nora had asked her not to talk about what they did, but hinting towards it wasn't in their deal. She needed to let Terren tell her about if she was ever going to feel comfortable around him again.
"Hey..." She said without taking her gaze off the peaceful waters. THe suns rays made the surface sparkle. Sniffing once again, she repositioned her hair behind her ear and propped her chin on her arm.

"Hey," Terren said, "Is everything OK? You don't seem to be in the best spirits." He paused. "Is it Nora?" He looked at her eyes. He could tell there was something bothering her. It was obvious. If it was Nora, what had she done? Nora always seemed to get along with everyone when they were younger. Had that changed?

"I'm just not feeling well..." She said to him. She wasn't completely lieing, but she still felt wierd. She rubbed her nose and turned to Terren, no emotion was on her face. "You never said you had a sister... " She told nora she wouldn't tell about their conversation, so she might as well start one of her own. SHe pleaded with her eye's to tell, but her eye's were soft and seemed to be deep in thought.

"No I haven't. I'm okay don't worry. Well, I have to warn you though, if I sneeze and don't close my eyes, you might want to duck as fast as you can. By the way, I think I'll take that book since it has romance too." Ray rubbed her eyes and then her nose. Then she dusted off her favorite blue jacket.

Terren looked down at the floor and shook his head. "Well," he started, "I didn't feel comfortable talking about her. I was almost ready to try to forget about my past, but I couldn't." He looked back at Nora, then back to Michella. "But I suppose it shouldn't be as hard now that I know she's OK.", he said. "When I was 13 and she was 12," he continued, "we were playing outside and I accidentally turned her to stone. I've gotten much better with my power since then, but it almost killed me that day. My parents... well... I guess it was just too painful to keep me around." He closed his eyes and dropped his head when he thought about his parents. What were they doing right now? Did they wonder about him? "Anyway," he said, "it was just too painful to talk about. But I'm ok now." He gave her a small smile.

"Maybe we should go somewhere else," Nora said, partly feeling bad about Ray's allergies and partly wanting to get Terren out of the library. She handed the book to Ray with a smile. "I'm sure you'll like this one. It's got everything." She looked over at Terren. They seemed to be in deep conversation. Michella better not have brought her up.

Dropping her head a little, she realized that Nora was truthful about the incident when they were younger. It felt like a burden had been liftted off her when he told her about it, instead of keeping it a secret. Now what was going to happen between Nora and her since he told her? WHat if Terren told her that he told the one girl that she already didn't like?
"Terren... I'm glad that you could tell me." She said without referring to Nora at all. She looked over noticing that Ray and Nora was coming again and instantly she felt the uncomforableness(?) again. Maybe she should leave, just so she wouldn't have to face Nora. She didn't want Nora thinking that he told her because of their conversation.

"That would be a good idea. Especially if you don't want to get your head blown off." Ray laughed at what she said then walked to where they first came in. After passing the same shelf, she looked over to Terren again and smiled faintly. Her deep blue eyes then followed behind her to Nora. She was also looking at Terren and Michella.

"Of course," Terren said, "It's not that big of a deal. Not anymore. I'm sure she's moved on since then as well." He looked back and saw Nora looking at them. He smiled and gave a small wave. He turned back to Michella. "So, what are you going to do now?" he asked.
Nora smiled back at Terren and also gave a small wave. She turned then to Ray again. "Well, I like my head where it is," she said, putting her hands on her hips, "Where would you rather be? It's my first day here, so I don't really know the choices." She looked back once more at Terren and Michella. They didn't seem to be saying too much anymore. Maybe she could get him to show her around. She was genuinely interrested in the school grounds.
