After seeing Terren get knocked down, she gasped and saw the metal ball grow near him and the other two. She had to do something. Making herself grow back to normal size, she teleported behind the metal ball. Somehow senseing her behind it, it instantly started to rolle towards her. She looked at Terren for a moment before putting one of her hands on the ball. Right before the spikes emerged, her thoughts were non-exisitant as she and the ball was teleported away from the trio.

"Yeah..yeah, I'm fine." He stood up shakily, and wiped away the blood from his hands. He looked to Alicia and smiled weakly. He felt a strange sensation, and the blood on his hands practically disappeared. Turning, he heard Michella scream and Terren fell to the ground. A ball was approaching, and he had no idea what it was. He started walking backwards, away from the thing. Looks like a Gung-Ho approach won't work here... He started to run but suddenly saw Michella grab the ball, and teleport off. "Wha..where is she?" He ran towards Terren, but refrained from helping him up, knowing Terren wasn't comfortable with him. It's funny how even now these things can matter...

Terren looked up and saw Michella and the ball disappear. He got up and looked around to see where she'd gone, holding onto his chest. He looked at the three robots that he had seen earlier and turned the ground beneath them to molten rock. They instantly begain sinking and melting. There was a terrible smell, so Terren turned the lava to normal dirt once the bots were sufficiently out of commision. He looked around again for Michella. Was she safe?

Michella appeared at the other side of the danger room.(simulationstyle) Instantly letting go of the ball, she rolled to the side away from it. Her eye's grew big seeing the spikes emerge from it. "NOW WHAT?" She said to herself aloud and took off in a run away from it. Teleporting had completly vanished from her mind. As she got a few feet away from the ball a loud explosion followed with the ball releasing the spikes from its form. Spikes flew everywhere and Michella looked back intime to see multiple spikes fly her way. Instantly she shrunk herself but not before one grazed her arm. She fell to the ground and lay there waiting for the spikes to pass. A few landing just centimeters from her heavily breathing form.

Terren ran up and saw Michella on the ground. She was different in some way... Oh yeah. She was five inches tall. Terren turned the spikes to a sort of jelly and walked over to Michella. "Are you... OK?" he asked, kneeling down beside her. The ball was still sitting a few feet away with holes all over it where the spikes had been.

Michella opened her eye's after hearing a very familiar voice. "TERREN?!" She managed to get out, then realizing that she was still in her shrunken form. How embarassing. She sat up and teleported herself away from him and behind a tree before making herself grow to her normal height. She walked out from behind it, with a grimacing look on her face, as her hand was over her left arm. "I'm fine.... Just scared me. What about Alicia and Vanden?" She asked acting like nothing was wrong and acted worried about the other two.

Seaheart walked next to Dr.Raelin, watching the show. "Well, well, well. They seem to be worried about simple robots and spike balls. These aren't enemies......they're traps and that's their weakness. Most traps cannot be defeated, only dodged. Though they treat them as enemies. Plus, they're powers are more for recon and spying, not battle.
Doc......really.....what were you thinking? Even you knew that they wouldn't be organized enough for this stuff. Unfortunately, Vanden or Alicia don't take the parts from the robot he destroyed and used them as weapons. Only Terren has some type of an offensive power......While Michella with telporting and shrinking, she should try to confuse the bots and make them fight against eachother. With the duplicator......same thing as Michella. Vanden should use his little pheremones to make Terren angry or nervous so he could use his powers of changing certain items. Maybe the robots into weapons or allies. So, nothing else has to be said. Should I go in if it's gets to be too much?" Seaheart said quite thoroughly amused by their little battling abilities. In truth, it was a great team. Terren and Vanden working together was powerful, and Michella and Alicia's powers also complimented eachother.

Mr. Railen took his watchful eye's off of the group in the simulation and looked at Seaheart. From day one, there was something about him that he didn't like. Now what was it? Oh, yes. His insufferable knowitall attitude. He might know alot about battling, but when it comes to others, that is his weakness.
"Seaheart, You really don't realize that the whole point of this school is for training. Learning how to deal with these things should they get into trouble. Learning how to defend one another and not just care about themselves. True heroism, lies with those who do not just care about themselves. I do believe that if you were to take a lesson from these students, you yourself might learn something new. There is no I in team of course," He paused for a moment then continued. "Yes I know, cliche, isn't it. It is true, however." Mr. Railen looked back into the simulation seeing that Terren had came upon Michella finding out her other power. He noticed Alicia and Vanden still over where Michella first disappeared. "SEaheart, as much as I know how much you want to show off, it would probably be best if they did it themselves. YOu won't always be there to save the day of course. Instead, how about you watch and learn how teamwork[/i] really works."

Seaheart let out his cruel, hollow, I can't believe your saying this to me, laugh. He laugehd it up to the ceiling and heaven. "Heroism? Save the day? Doc, you really don't know me. I've been with more teams than you can imagine. Now, I never said they cared about themselves. Showing off? What? I'm so over cocky basketball player or wrestler thinking they know everything? Now calm down. You get too worked up over everything. I was just pointing out how they could utilize their powers in a effective way. In this way, they have a high chance of dying, and really no way how to beat these robots. On top of it all, I wouldn;t exactly call it teamwork. Look closely. Terren is completely focused on Michella while Vanden is focused on Alicia and vice versa. While it is a four man team, they split up into two groups. While this is good in most cases, they can barely handle being alone with their types of powers. Even worse, the groups won't work either. How cna duplicates and pheremones work? How can changing objects only be getting anger, nervous or stressed work with teleporting and growing smaller? You have to understand, I'm not sayign htis because I like to be the cream of the crop. I'm saying it because you want to be the on who sees heroism, bravery, great teamwork and being able to overcome obstacles with friendship, yata yata yata.
"There is very little and even though it could help in their situation, they're too disorganized and worrying about the wrong people. This is why you should not let emotions get in the way of missions. Now......I cannot say it has not happened to me once before. It was not a missions but still. While it doesn;t make you weaker, it divides your attention and distracts you. Now, unless you can use it without beign hinderd, then you should set it aside. So what we have here are two teams that do not work well together, letting emotions get in the way, disorganized, and well.....that's it. What you need is to set a specific captain to watch over all and know how to handle the situation." He said watching as chaos erupted all around.
"Listen, Doc, if you want to get anywhere with me, your gonna have to let the student teach the teacher. Keep calm, look at your mistakes and everyone else's, and take control. After all....your a teacher and that's your job. By the looks of it, your not dsoign your job well." He said giving a nod of his head to the chaos in the danger room. "Now. These students have five minutes to pull themselves together before I step in. I would suggest helping them pull together or else I migth have to make thigns get uglier in there, no?" He said gettign ready to be amused on how he was gonna help this bunch. He knew Dr. Raelin had potentia but he was so blinded by the things everyone believed overcome anything.

Mr. Railen glared at him. There was no reason for a student of his stature to be trying to overshadow him and make him feel like the student. It wasn't working. Something this kid needed to do, was to watch and learn.
"Seaheart, how did you get so strong? You had to practice right? I'm sure you made plenty of mistakes before you got the hang of it. I'm sorry, if my methods doesn't meet your standards for battles or missions, but these students HAVE to learn by themselves. What would happen if you weren't with them, say at a school trip, some major accident occurs or something and they expect a leader. THey won't know what to do UNLESS they learn by themselves. THey will learn eventually how to work as FULL team, but as of now, they are doing well. Noone is perfect their first time and I suggest you sit down and watch before I suspend you from any further Danger room missions. Watch them. THey might amaze you. When trouble comes, teams pull together."
Mr. Railen had never felt himself so sternly against a student, but it takes a special one to ruin it for anyone else. This Seaheart was one for knowing tactics on survival, but one thing he needs to do is let everyone else learn. THey can't be babied or they will die, when put to the test.

Terren looked around at the ball. It started to make a strange noise. He looked at the midsection of a tree and focused, turning a slit of it into water, slanting in the direction of the ball. The top of the tree dropped and slammed down on its watery midsection, spraying it on Terren's shirt. The tree fell in the direction of the slit and landed on the ball. Terren smiled. That should do it, he thought. Or did it?

Alicia stood up with Vanden, with a slight look of suprise on her face as she noticed his hands healing. She kept quiet, and scanned the woods. She put her finger to her lips, trying to tell Vanden that she needed silence. So far during all of this she could tell that the robots were not quiet. The rustling of the bushes that she had heard in the beginning was the now dismembered robot. She turned to Vanden, and was about to say that she thought all was clear, when she noticed one that she hadnt heard was standing right behind him. Remembering that he had saved her brought tears welling in her eyes, and she couldnt stand the thought of him getting hurt. She let out a sound that came dangerously close to sounding like a growl. She sent out two duplicates. One she sent beside Vanden and the other she sent behind the robot. She drug herself to the duplicate beside Vanden, and without thought or pause for breath, she drug herself through the robot and to the duplicate standing behind it. There was a slightly sickening sound as the robot was torn in two. It fell to the ground in two places, on either side of Alicia. She stood facing away from Terren and Vanden, breathing heavily. She brought her hands out in front of her and studied them as if she had never seen them before. Without turning around, she turned her head slightly to the side. "It was going to hurt him.."She whispered. After that she fell silent, not knowing what else to say. 'I couldnt let it hurt Vanden..I just couldnt..' With that thought the tears that had been in her eyes, finally began to fall.

Seahearchuckled again, looking at Doc. "Raelin.....I did have mistakes.....and even though I made mistakes...during missions, there was a captain. He didin't believe we could make it by oursleves. Why? Because we couldn't. We were new and we didn't have a clue. He taught us how to handle situations. You believe they can make it without a guide, a teacher, a CAPTAIN. First rule. Before you send someone out into the field, you go over techniques and situations. You? You send them straight out in a valley of death. I got taught by a captain and now? I usually am one. When I'm not, I listen, even if I know. So there's a girl crying out there and they are doomed to death without someone to guide them. So Doc.....your gonna suspend me from danger room missions? You know what I say to that? Go screw. OuMmmm...that's it. Bye!" He said as he ran and went into the danger room.
He looked around and cleared his voice. "Hey! Everyone, listen up. While most of you hate me...." He said looking at Vanden, Michella, and Terren. "Doesn't mean I particularly hate you. Plus, I can't allow you guys to die in front of me. So! Seeing this....situation, and considering many of you hate me, I'll do something that, if you follow....you'll never have to take an order from me again, and function as a powerful team. So.....emotions and hate put aside, those who don't want to die, line up next to me." He said calmly. His biggest worry was Vanden. He held the key to Terren's potential and powers. Though....maybe he would listen. He knew these guys hated him, but sometimes you had to work with people you hated. He gave a small grin at memories of him and Ven.

Michella watched as the water was present on Terren's shirt. Like someone squashed a tomotoe and the juice just went out in ever which way. She came upon his side and looked at the broken peices of metal that fell from the metal ball, or what was left of it. "Wow... YOu sure do know how to get to job done, don't you?" Michella made a comment, with her hand over her arm, she looked backwards and heard commotion going on. Instantly she looked at Terren. "Alicia and Vanden. I hope their okay?"

Vanden smiled at Alicia, but it disappeared slightly when her hand came to her lips. He nodded silently. He vaguely noticed that his hands had been healed somewhat, and nodded again for some reason, as if to register the thought. He was carefully watching her, and suddenly a strange look came upon her delicate face and she emitted a strange growl, then pretty much disappeared. Surprised, he turned around to see a robot very close to him, and nearly tumbled backwards. He brought his hands up into a fist, but suddenly something went throught the machine and it tore in two, sputtering sparks and twitching. He shuddered, and right behind the robot's "corpse" was Alicia. He just stared at her for a few seconds then smiled weakly. "Tha-" Before he could finish his thanks, she quietly spoke about not wanting Vanden to get hurt. He felt strange, happy but sad, and suddenly tears began to fall. Without thinking, he embraced her, his arms around her protectively. "Don't worry Alicia..thank you." He was smiling, even though she couldn't see it. He suddenly realized there was something between theme he had only vaguely noticed before.
