Skipping... Class, Of Course.

Kylan tilted his head to the side slightly. "Don't know. Never really thought about it." Blinking a few times, Kylan watched as clouds formed in the distance, preparing to drench an innocent town. Snickering, he uncrossed his arms and continued to watch the oncoming storm.
"Better not leave the school tonight." He murmered, as if to himself. Turning to Amberly again, he watched her innocently. "What do you think I could be, if I was to go?"

"You? I really have no idea what you could or would be, but I think something really cool... Maybe something like a wizard? You know... Merlin maybe?" Amberly bit her bottom lip thinking of the possiblilty of Kylan actually being able to pull off the costume. "Yeah, I think that you would look good... as a wizard." She caught herself and hesitated. She finished off the sentence fast to make it seem like she didn't seem to be acting anything wierdly. She began to tugg on her hair as she smiled casually to him and began to wonder about his warning. "Why do you say that? About not leaving the school tonight?"

The mute watched from the sidelines. He walked past them, listening. They were obviously going together....it was obvious. She'd probaly go with Vanden if she ever saw him. He figured he might as well go. He had never really been to a dance before. One of the main reasons was Sara. After that whole incident well.....come on? Does Seaheert ever seem like he had gone to a party? Exactly. He was gonna go, and actually decided to dress up. Something must be wrong, or the gods had decided to have a joke.....

Kylan glanced over at Amberly and smirked. "A wizard?" Laughing, he folded his hands behind his head and frowned slightly.
"My warning?" Looking back at the dark clouds over the otwn in the distance, he grinned evilly. "Storms don't stay in one place for long. That storm, for instance," He nodded his head in the direction of the storm, "Will be heading this way soon. Tonight, maybe?" Laughing, he narrowed his eyes at the storm, lightning now visible from a distance.
"Hm..." Kylan feigned thought for a second, "Maybe that's what i'll go the ball for. I'll go so I can cause a massive storm. Heh heh..." Kylan trailed off, liking this new idea.

Amberly nodded her head to his thoughts about her suggestion. "Yes a wizard. I think that you would make a pretty fair Wizard. Afterall you create the storms and stuff like magic." She recited with great persuation(sp?). SHe looked at the sky seeing the dark clouds. She wasn't afraid of storms, but she hated the thought of what could be in the storms. She had a slight fear of tornados and she always thought that storms bring them. She shook the thought from her head and took his words to heart. "Well, if you insist that I don't go out, I won't. Hopefully I'll be asleep by the time the storm comes." Amberly looked at him with interest of being his friend. She hadn't made alot of friends here and she wondered why. "So, before the storm, you got any plans?"

"Hm..."
Kylan paused. A wizard? Maybe he could go... But would Amberly be interested in going with him? Doubt it. Turning to her, he opened his mouth and was about to ask her if she would, when she asked if he had any plans. Closing his mouth again, he looked up at the oncoming storm. Plans? He usually just sat around or hung out with Kyle, or played pranks on innocent students.
"No plans, no. But I was wondering..." Kylan paused nervously. "I'm thinking I might go to this ball..." Another nervous pause. "If you didn't already have someone in mind... Then do you think you'd wanna go with me...?" Kylan shifted his weight nervously, biting his lower lip as well.

Amberly watched his reaction to her question ansd smiled slighlty as she looked around yet again at the on coming storm. The clouds seemed to be staying stll at the moment, for which she was glad. She noticed Kylan's hesitation in his voice and waited for him to finish, when he did she got a cold chill down her back. "Well, I don't have anyone in mind, so... I would like to." She answered him and couldn't beleive that she got a date to the dance just from skipping classes. Never before had she gotten so much luck. She smiled at him momentarily. "So, are you going to go as the wizard.. or something else?"

Kylan turned his head and looked at her in amazement. She actually wanted to go with him? Cool! Kylan smiled. Whatever clouds had been in the sky suddenly disappeared and the sun shone even more brightly, making Kylan cover his eyes with his hands.
"Crap." He muttered, glancing up at the sky through two fingers and grimacing. A few clouds came into view and began to cover the sun, giving a comfortable view. Lowering his hands, Kylan looked at Amberly. "I'll be going as a wizard, I guess. Now I just have to come up with a costume..." He trailed off.

Amberly's eye's closed slightly at the cloud cover disappearing. Evidently he was happy, cause his emotions took cotrol of the weather. She couldn't help but smile at him and her eye's went back to normal with the cloud cover that Kylan gave back to them. "That's better!" She said laughing slightly and folded her arms in front of her. "Well, I guess since your going to be a wizard, I better go and get my costume ready. The ball isn't to far away." She said and turned toward the school. She felt so happy and she felt like she wanted to fly. "I better be getting back to the school. I hope I can see you soon... if so... When?"

"Anytime you want." Kylan smiled, shrugging. "Do you know what you're going to be? Or is it gonna be a suprise...?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly, also beginning to walk back towards the school. Glancing behind him, he saw the storm in the distance begin to follow, making its way towards the school. Yes... Anyone who didn't like storms would definently want to stay in tonight... Turning back to Amberly, he smiled again.

Amberly turned back to see him following her back to the school and the sight of the clouds seemed to give her a worried look on her face. "Well, I'm not really sure yet, but I'm assuming that I might want to make it a secret for now. After all, I want it to be a surprise!" She told him and slowed down a little so he could catch up to her. "So... I know you can control the weather, but what do you like to do?"

Kylan noticed her worried look and made it to where the storm seemed to stop in its trek to the school. "What do I like to do?" He repeated, placing a hand on his chin in mock thought, now walking next to Amberly. "Let's see... I like playing pranks. I like... Swimming. And... Well, i'll pretty much do anything. You?" He finished, turning his head so he was looking at her and stuffing his hands into his pockets.

"Well, I love swimming as well, I just don't go swimming that often. Never really find myself much time for such things like that." She paused a minute and watched him put his hands in his pockets. "I'm not really good at pranks though. Couldn't say that I ever have tried you know?" She found herself putting both hands behind her head and looked towards the sky yet again and was amazed to see that the darkened clouds wasn't aiming their way. It seemed like they were just sitting still in the sky, waiting for something. She smiled slightly looking back at Kylan. "I really like walking though.. and usually I just hang out where ever I find myself. Kinda like right now. I just let my feet do the walking and ended up meeting you, however, it was a good turn out! I'm excited about the dance now!"
I wonder what I'll be going as. He's going to be a wizard, so It would be cool if our costumes matched, but I don't want it to be obvious I wanted to match. LEt's see, wizards are in the early era - Maybe I'll go as a medival woman, perhaps, guinevere? Yeah, that's perfect. Guinevere!
"So, Wizard, what shall you call yourself for that night?"

"Yea, walking's nice, I guess. It was good meeting you, too." Kylan smiled cheesily, and listened to Amberly. "What should I call myself? What do you mean? I'll still be Kylan... Just a hott wizard Kylan!" He said jokingly, laughing and turning to face Amberly.
Smirking, a bolt of lightning flashed through the sky suddenly. "Oops, my bad." Kylan said, grimacing. "Only thing I don't like about controlling storms is that I have to make sure I watch how I feel. With this power, emotion is God. I guess you could say..." He trailed off, staring behind him at the still storm clouds.

Amberly nodded to him laughing. "Yes... Make your own stage name. Instead of being, Kylan, it'll give you a chance to make yourself someone else for one night." She thought about her costume and her name. She couldn't call herself Guinevere but she could find a new name for the ball. Her dress would be that of medival, but she would have a mask that would cover her eye's. She might even change her hair color to keep her true identity hidden from anyone. She smiled momentarily. "WEll... if you emotions control the weather and what you feel is what you get, what made the lighting? I mean what emotion was you just..." She paused letting her words be the clue to her question, looking at him with curiousity.
