People walked through the streets of the bust town and just rushed past the woman with a black cloak on. Her hood was down and her white hair whipped behind her in the cold summer's night breeze. It was oddly cold out tonight, people were wearing sweaters and jackets on a summer night. Yet she had to agree with them, it was cold out.
Little girls and boys rushed past her as they played around on the sidewalk. Their parents no where in sight and they were free for the moment. But this seemed to be alright. The streets weren't too busy, the side walk was full of people and it seemed calm. But everything took a turn for the worst when two little girl ran out into the street.
A huge truck came rushing around the corner and was heading straight for the girls. They seemed oblivious. Yet the woman seemed to be the only one aware of the danger. Then a woman scream as she spotted the truck that was heading for the girls. It was moving fast and it would crush those girls with little touble. Now the woman in the black cloak was a dark being. She was born that way. It was her nature to kill and not care but lately she had been growing soft. Care was growing into her cold heart.
The moment she spotted the truck rushing for the poor girls and snapped. She jumped and pushed her way through the ocean of now terrified people. Soon she ran out into the street, grabbed the girls and untucked her wings. She was about to jump into the air when the headlights rushed to her. In and instant, the truck slammed into her and she was thrown onto the ground.
Time seemed to stop. The only thing she could her was the girl crying beheath her and the people yelling and screaming as they rushed towards her. A crimson pool forming under her.

The mute watched quietly as the scenes unfolded. He had been watching that white haired girl carefully. Her aura was...strange, but so was everyone's these days. He watched ash tried to rescue the girls. Foolhardy, if not possible after how long she waited. He came up to her, looking at her. He stared at the girls, picking them up, sending them packing to their moms. He then took the white haired 'savior' in his arms.
She probaly wouldn't die. She seemed more hardened than that. He walked quietly and slowly, his long blue hair that went up to his knees swaying in the wind. The only thing longer than his hair was his jacket, which went up to his ankles. At least that should warm her up.

Naka's eyes snapped open and she groaned, blood dripping out the side of her mouth. Her eyes were glass and her back was killing her. Her blue eyes looked up at her rescuer and whispered,"Where are the girls..." Her voice was raspy and cracky.

The mute looked down at here. Sure, he'd tell her.....if he wasn't a mute. Vanden'sfault...as always.....or rather again. So instead, he made soem shadows in the air that said "They're safe." He then kept walking. Now the real problem. He couldn't take her to a hospital for two reasons. The first was because she was gifted, she would obviously be tested. The second was the same except they would probaly clip off her wings if they didn't test her. Now....the infirmary? No. They couldn't give proper medical care to something like this. Well...he could do it himself.

Naka groaned when he began walking again, the sheer bounce in his step causing her to wince. It wasn't suppose to happen like this. She was doing one of her first good deeds and this was what she got. Fine, Good can shuve it. Evil always won anyways. Then she closed her eyes hard then sighed. Her wings were limp beneath her and tucked in slightly so he wouldn't step on her wings. They were black with now crimson drenched feathers. Blood trailed all the way down her face then she coughed.

He looked at her and shrugged. Seeing people dead, or half dead in his hands wasn't exactly the newest thing. At least this time it wasn't his fault. He started to walk inside the school, then to his own dorm. He set her on the bed and thought. The wings would need repairing. He had an idea but....it wasn't just risky, it could destroy her whole life as it had destroyed hs. Well.....for now, he should just worry about fixing her up. He opened his closet. He had a bunch of medical supplies for any occasion, mostly if he was hurt. He took out a rag, wet it under the sink, and wiped her face.
He got bandages, styptic, disinfectant, ointment, and splints. All the tools needed for injuries. OK.....styptic and disinfectant for cuts.....ointment for burns, and bandages to heal properly. He applied the disinfectant and styptic, then applied bandages. No burns.....he'd check for broken bones later. Now wings.....He wanted to moan but he was a mute so no go. A black wing oppped out of his backside. It's was Chaos's wing. He took a breath and began. Shadows unattached parts of the wing, then put them on the girl's to fix up the parts where needed.

She rolled over and sat up. "They'll heal on their own. Don't do that,"She said and pushed him away. Her wings were strong and so was the rest of her body. She wasn't who she was for just any reason. "Where am I?"

He looked at her, unblinkingly. He couldn't reply because he couldn't talk to instead, he got out a piece of paer nad wrote "My dorm. You may leave now if you wish." He handed it to her, sat on his desk, and started to write in a little journal, almost as if healing her was simply done because he had nothing to do. It's just, stuff liek this happened everyday. Not healing an eternal person with wings, no, but after his whole life, nothing surprised him.

Naka looked at him and said,"Thankyou. I'm sorry I bothered you." Then she walked out of the dorm room and down the hall until she was outside. It was a cool night and the cold hurt her wings. But she slowly wrapped them around her silm body and sighed. What a day it had turned out to be. Not everyday does a person get hit by a car and it was just a rare to happen to her. But she was fine. Time was what would heal her. So she walked to a tree and layed down, looking up at the stars and wrapping her cloak around her tightly.

The mute walked outside, seeing it was night. Maybe this could be a good time to work on his song. Yes, he was writing a song. He didn't know why. He had come up with a song already, but htis one was gonna be about the stars. He took out his notebook, going outside. He spread out his wing, black on one side, blood scarlet on the other. He figured he better get a better view, so he jumped, and glided to the tip of a tree, percariously balancing on both feet. He looked below and saw the girl. He shrugged, jotting down lyrics in his book.

Naka had sensed someone else but didn't even bother looking. Her back was still killing her and she didn't dare get up. But she did. So she sat up and jumped looked around, her blue eyes almost glowing in the moonlight.

He started to look around. What for? A slide. OK, it was childish, but they did remind him of when he was young. Especially since he was putting the slide in his song. He looked off to the east and saw a park. He spread his wing again and soared off, then resting down on the slide. He caught sight of that girl again when he was flying here. Hopefully he wouldn't be disturbed. Well whatever. For some reason, he felt he wouldn't mind. H felt he could speak...well...sing. t was strange, but he found reason in his music. He couldn't find reason for much else these days. He started to sing:
"When I look at the sky, I see all the stars twinkling. They're like the people of this planet, all emitting different types of light. I want to stand out in that crowd, and shine brighter than everyone else. I close my eyes and swear. I entrust my dream to a shooting star."
There was a bit of a silence, while he made a bit of music with the shadows. He then took a long look at the park and resumed.
"This is the park I always go to. I can watch the night scene from the slide. Since long ago it's been my own special seat. Whenever I have troubles I always come here."
This was true since he came here alot more these nights, memories and pain overflowing him more than ever.
"Ever since that time, I've been chasing my dream. Even now it hasn't come true. Maybe this is the end. What a weak voice I speak in."
This was also true because his dream was well....let's just say it hasn't changed. But he has made another wish now.
"There are days when I feel bitter about it. But then I'll remember, looking for the shooting star in that starry night. The wish that I made when I was small, hasn't changed with the passage of time."
He stopped again, listening to the music that went with this. Then he finished it up.
"When I look at the sky, I see all the stars twinkling. They're like the people of this planet, all emitting different types of light. I want to stand out in that crowd, and shine brighter than everyone else. I close my eyes and swear. I entrust my dream to a shooting star."

Naka watched as he sung. If he was mute then why only speak when he was singing? Well it was notne of her business. If he wasnted to sing then let him sing. She wasn't stopping him. Then it almost reminded her of her youth...God what a long time ago that was. But her childhood was a hard one to remember. She never liked remembering it. It had no happiness in it, just pain....

He finished. Through the whole song he had been straining his voice so it was less than his ebest. But he at least felt better in a way. In a sense, all there was in his youth was...what? Loneliness? A burden to everyone? Feared by his own people? They feared what their own people had wanted. Then....then that day. The day they didn't want him. They wanted to send him to the government. His own parents who had never loved him.
The worse part yet, they said they did, but he heard the regret, the lying in their voices. Well, hopefully they were rotting in hell. He looked over to the girl, seeing confusion. Probaly because he was singing when he was a mute? He was well....a little different. He had become a mute over....at least two months ago. It was an accident. A man like him didn't do well with fear. He couldn't be scared....but the real him could. Before Seaheart, there was Twilk, the boy who had been decieved by his own parents and town. He had killed them all the day they wanted to send him to government, with Chaos. The reason he could talk or rather sing, was because there was reason. He didn't find much reason in anything anymore, which is why he didn't speak. He looked at the girl, wondering if she had endured hardships like his.....

Her pain.....That was a strange story. Most kids got thrown out by their parents or abandoned because they her "different". In Naka's case...she was tortured.... She had been sent to a clinic and had experiments done on her. She couldn't even count the amount of poisons they had given her to see if she could withstand them. Obviously, all of them. It had been so painful. Then there was that man...He had whipped her for almost 40 years. It was terrible.....
