((I had to do it! I was alluding to him too much! It killed me inside! >>))
Name: Salvador Donia
Nicknames: Damn Donia (Cobalt), and self-nicknamed The Luscious Latino
Aliases: ---
Age: 18
Marital Status: Single
Sexual Orientation: Straight, sometimes confused as bisexual
Weight: 67 kg
Height: 198 cm
Skin: Deliciously tan
Eyes: Big, brown, and soulful
Hair: Long (about down to his shoulders), black, curly
Clothing: Usually wears bright colors and stand-out clothing. He loves ruffles and crazy ties as well as anything that doesn't match or fit correctly.
Powers: His entire body, innards and all, are made out of a special type of living metal that just gives off the illusion of skin. He is able to melt and harden himself at will, turning into a hard statue immune to any punches or a puddle of liquid metal. He is also able to mold himself into different shapes, but cannot change his mass. His blood has an extremely strange property: he is actually able to create living metal machines from a few droplets of blood. They are able to think and to sense just like a human being, and are connected to Salvador because they came from his own body. Everything they perceive, he perceives. It's a good spying mechanism. They can't grow very large unless he uses a proportionately large amount of blood, but one drop can generally create a machine about 14 cm high, with a mass of about… (quick calculations) 1372 cubic cm (which is half the volume of a cube with edges 14 cm). They can also conceivably be used for protection. He is also able to manipulate existing metal into different shapes.
Weakness: He can be broken when he's in his metal state, especially if it’s really cold outside or if he happens to be in a thin state. If that happens… let’s just say it’s really not good and most likely results in death, depending of course on where he is broken.
Power related issues: Since he can’t change his mass, if he wants to make himself 10 meters tall or wide he’s going to be like, paper-thin.
Personality: He’s a real jokester and likes to play pranks, loves to exaggerate his abilities and experiences, and just likes being around people in general. A genuine raconteur. He wears his heart on his sleeve, constantly is talking, and always has to let other people know how he feels. He’s not good at holding things in, unless he’s angry. Then he really clams up. He almost never yells at people and has a very tolerant temper. He doesn’t like to think that people could be mad at him.
History: (Hmmm… I hate histories.)
Erm, Salvador’s parents came over to… (insert country where Cassis is located here) when he was about sixteen years old, in search of work that they were unable to find in his native country, Spain. He didn’t always know he had the powers that he did, but even as a child had a sort of pull to metalworking and metallurgy. His power was actually discovered on the ship that his family took to the new country, when a freakishly deformed-looking metal object sprouted up from underneath the Band-Aid his father had just put on a cut on his finger, an event that scarred his childhood but led to greater things. In time he was able to discover new facets of his power and how to better control the things he did. He has almost perfected his living metal machines to an art form, something that a few years at Cassis helped him with. His parents were the ones who sent him to the school when he came of age, anxious to try to do what’s best for their child. They didn’t feel as though they would be adequately able to take care of him at their meager home, and hoped this would be a better way for him to grow and adapt to this new country and culture.
Strange tidbits: His left forefinger, the finger that originally made him realize his powers, is actually prosthetic and made out of his living metal. It works like a real finger, too. The story varies widely, but he often tells people that he lost the finger during a knife-fight in Spain when he sought revenge from the leader of a notorious gang for mugging and severely injuring his best friend. Salvador follows it up by saying that the other guy lost his eye, a tip of his ear, and will probably never find another girl who would kiss his newly scarred mug.
He actually shut it in a car door very, very hard.
