Powers: Maya has lately been discovering that she has been able to strike up sparks of black(dark) magic. Not being fully aware of how to use them, they do her the least bit of good. However, when they do arise, they are too powerful to control, and to short coming to manage. Going into more detail, an example of what exactly her power does, and how she is as it happens: Violent steaks of repetative dark winds moving in circular motions. Similar to a tornado, except when these destroy, they rip and slice throught whatever may be in Maya's way. Maya's form is..Lets just say, engulfed in fury's darkness, and trust, fury is dark.

Power related issues: Maya's powers only show up when she is highly distressed or infuriated. This leaves her form collapsed upon the floor.
Personality: Maya is, first off, the least bit modest. On first site, she would seem to be the most sheepish girl there was. A sense of humor does any and everyone good, and Maya was blessed with one. Maya is often in a daze, and drifts away, which proves be a terrible flaw in class. When angered, Maya is very vengeful and spiteful. On the flip side, Maya is very intense, faithful and loyal as well as kind, going out of her way to please and do for others. This trait can sometimes be bad as well as her outspoken attitude.
History: Maya was one of two children. Her brother and herself were moved in with their Father at the age of five after the as some would say "long- awaited" death of her mother. But, as time passed, Maya noticed that she was very distant from her family, leaving much space for her father and brother to grow closer. Maya hadn't much of a social life, as her dad cracked down on her about every little thing. "Study this, do that!" Is all Maya would hear every day. Her father was at the peak of the town, the talk of the town, from sun up to sun down. Maya and her brother were, in result, expected to live up to his powerful standards of being the best mage in the town. But for Maya, this was not all it was cracked out to be. She was the last to grasp even the slightest adrenaline rush from producing magic in the town. And when she did, her father was the least bit excited, for from Maya's powers came nothing but destruction of not only his home, but his social status, thus, leading him to send Maya to an alternative school for the gifted, landing her here. This was the last place Maya wanted to be, somewhere to learn how to control her destructive powers which only came from pint up animosity.
